No it's not that simple. It will do pretty well, and based on the past, a little better then last year. I was somewhat profitable last year, but it did not sell as much as other baseball games. However chances are it's sales will increase a little again (or so I believe for 4 reasons). First, 2K has seen that it has some success and has gotten much higher reviews then any other baseball game, so they may put a little more into it (last year and especially the year before it was probably too risky to invest too much in). Second, reviews of any Wii Baseball games often mention Power Pros and call it the best game out there for the Wii right now (with MLB the Show generally considered the top modern baseball game in general). Third, with good quality games like this, it spreads by word of mouth. While it's not too much, there is a much larger following of the game (not on here) since last year and it might get a little more popular because of this. Finally, 2K 09 was just as disappointing as last years game. I think people may be a bit more weary of buying 2K 09 and might look for a different game, AKA MLB Power Pros. Worst case scenario, it does about the same as last year, maybe slightly worse, and is profitable enough to continue, but not enough to really mean that much to 2K. That probably means another year.

Sorry for quoting myself, but yeah. They should make a commercial and advertise it as much as 2KSHITTY0WHATEVER!

besides the ads in SI Kids, they had an ad on the front page of IGN.com for quite some time "It takes a real man to strike someone out with no fingers" or something like that.

I didn't know they had one on IGN.com. That's a pretty funny one though. I'm not saying they didn't advertise at all.(The first time I heard of it was a SI Kids ad) But look at 2K9. TV Commercials right and left. Way more magazine ads than Power Pros.

My favorite was "Get your game face on! *Mouths and ears not included"

That was a funny one too. But you get my point right? 2K9 gets way more publicity.

We need an MLB Player that plays Power Pros to do a commercial for it.
