How good is Franks arc?
What abilities/stats does it give?
I just want to be sure before I go through it all and mess someone up.
Like I can't already do that myself.

It is an excellent arc to go through. It gives a lot of energy early, you can get things like durability, consistency, throwing and battler, but the biggest thing to me is good sense, which you almost always get from him at some point, usually at the last event (at least as far as my experience goes).

Yah Franks Arc has a pretty good chance of giving Good Sense in year two after you've gotten to AAA. There's also the off chance he gives it to you in Year one when he cooks Broast Ball over his place. Between the vitality, abilities, and Good Sense, Frank is higher up on my list that the Sittch training (and who wants every friggin pitcher to have an original pitch, anyway - way too easy to get this year)

It's not that hard to get him to train you if you do the events right. He's trained me 9 times, 3 as a hitter.

could someone post an exact list of every single Frank Event and what it does/what to choose? I want to do Frank's arc but I've never been able to finish it since I don't know what to do...

I can try to approximate. Spoilers ahead.

1st, location event, he is at the lookout. Work out with him (minor variations in what the three workouts give, but all advance the arc. Catch gives slightly less xp I think, they give chances at different skills also). If you are flashing red, you rest instead. I believe this still advances his plot, not sure.

I believe the first 8roast Ball RE can happen any time after this. It will also occur if you see him in the street. Agree to eat the 8roast ball.

2nd lookout event. Costs $5, get a bit of vit back.

3rd lookout event. Practice with him again. If you are flashing red, you rest instead. I believe this still advances his plot, not sure.

4th lookout event. Need to have eaten a 8roast ball with him. He tells a story about his sick sister.

5th lookout event. Practice with him, then get a conversation choice. I always choose to ask him about his dream (second choice). It gives slightly more I think, not sure if the arc continues if you make the first choice. You have until you leave the Green Apples to do these.

After this, it is all REs. There are one or two that might happen before you leave the Green Apples. They are not necessary, but may give nice things. I'm pretty sure they won't affect the arc finishing, but always say yes just to be safe.

After you leave the Green Apples there are two REs. First, Marvin rushes in while you are practicing and tells you that Frank's sister is sick. You can get better base running or release from this, I think. (I get this pretty reliably between week 3 and 4 of January, but I think it doesn't always show up then).

That last RE is the end of the arc (well, at least its the last event, there is an end cap after the last game - actually, I once finished the game without the last Frank RE, and got a different cap scene). You have a chance at battler and good sense, not sure if fielders can get anything but good sense.

In general, I've never failed to get good sense somewhere in his arc, usually in his last RE. I most often get it before the second year games start up.

I usually either S/L for a Gd Sense player, or S/L for a Pr Sense player and fix the sense with Sittch's #2 training.
But I suppose I could turn Pr Sense into Gd Sense... time for a maxed out player

Rodriguez (Andre) started with poor sense.
took hours (ok, maybe an hour and a half, 2 hours) of reloading sittch's 2nd event to finally cure it.
it was worth it, though!

anyways, only done his arc once, not too special in my opinion, though good sense is great to have.
personally, i'd rather have poor sense than good sense, the only real cure for your crappy starting stats (even though the experience cost is lower) is a goodjob, and we all know how risky that is.

I happy to say Goodjob only failed once out of the twenty times I found him.
So I really don't understand why everyone else fails with him.

lucky.
i had one successful operation with David Wrong, that's it.
anyways, i like sittch's arc because of the mentality points, which are incredibly hard to get otherwise.
patty's arc also gives so many random (but good) abilities.

In '07 mentality points were in surplus.
Every training gave them and pretty much every event key or random gave a few.
Yeah I have been doing Patty's arc lately for gyro/intimadtor

I used to HATE Dr goodjob with a passion in 07 because 2 weeks before mlb all-star game you here his amazing music, but wait thats only when you get his address so I used to S/l for hours on the last week to get him after my second guy I made in 07 got a successful operation.

Not EVERY training. Batting Practice and Tube training didn't. Probably more...

I got a successful surgery on the last week once. :)
