I like Forkball with more change as it breaks more and I like to use it with a secondary pitch like CCHG or SPLT to mess up the Computer.

I like that one too, it was my first.
Then I did sinker with more edge it was okay.
And after that a sinking fast ball with edge it okay at level 7, but during success everyone could hit it.

Personal my favorite pitch in the game is the vertical slider at level 2 everyone gets fooled, and each level it gets crazier.

Well, if you're a S/L FREAK, then I like the CB w/ more break. Here's why: It's a perfect Sittch-killer. If you are at pink motivation (9 out of 10 times, I am) and the pitch is Lvl. 7, put it into the dead corner. It will break into the zone.

This is an opinion question, but that's what I think.

I'm trying to decide between a sinker with more change and a sinker with more of an edge to it for my current pitcher - any advice?

For reference he has a changeup, 2seam, and slurve.

a slider (lv. 7) is incredibly hard to hit (giving more break would be insane), another trick i used on one guy (torry holt, if you must know, and longball suggested the trick) is to have a Circle Change-up (CCHG, It was level 5) and i made an original forkball (it became level 6 by the end) and named it CCHG.
Mindgames!

anyways, to answer your question, more change would be good, i didn't notice much change in the edge for my slider for andre rodriguez other than a slight break decrease.

I for one do not like sliders that break across the strike zone. The CPU always seems to be able to find hits with it somehow. Instead, I prefer either lower level sliders or a high level hard slider or cutter. To me, these pitches are good for jamming the batters, running the ball right up onto the barrell of the bat. These are the type of pitches that the CPU can almost never hit solidly. I use finesse as my pitching strategy. I get no more than 4 or 5 strikeouts but I can pretty much throw a complete game with any starting pitcher.

And for your question, I like the change upgrade; it makes it so much easier to mess up the computer's timing. It's like a changeup that moves in a different direction. While this may not sound intimidating, the value of a pitch like that is unbelievable, especially when you can mix it up with another pitch that looks the same coming out of the hand.
For example, I will be creating a pitcher with a SPLT as the main down pitch, and I will get a FORK with Changeup and call it SPLT so I can totally mess up both the CPU and human players.

I love changeups in general. The slurve and 2seam are on this pitcher because I haven't tried then much before.

I did go with the sink with more change, thanks for the advice. Is the 'more change' the right way to go for changeup like pitches? I tried a slider that was slower, and was very disappointed (tried to have it and a hard slider, to mess with timing, but they were pretty much the same speed! I had to change the hard slider to a cutter, so it doesn't have the same effect as I wanted).

In '07 i have a 7 slider with more break it's insane and I don't think the computer has hit it yet. In '08 my closer has a slow fork level 2 he also has a level 3 2sfb, level 1 sld, level 7 v-sld, and a 95 mph fastball. I plan to post him as soon as i get a picture of the code.
