I was wondering who likes what league and why, I think the AL is great because of the DH. I think the losing league should have the DH rule. I've also been a national league guy because of my braves and other teams I like.

My Dad very strongly disapproves of the DH, but i personally don't think it's that bad. It's a trade off: You can bat yourself and be able to get a break every 9th batter the first two or 3 go-arounds, or not bat and never have that "easy-out" once in awhile.

Oh, no, there are plenty of good-hitting pitchers, but there are significantly more lousy ones. It's a trade-off. If you are good enough to make the decision, take what you like.

I approve of the DH. Just look at what happened to Chein-Ming Wang last season. There should be a DH in both leagues. I know it's fun to see pitchers try to hit (and even funnier when they hit a longball) but I just want to see the DH rule being implied to both leagues.

I agree with the Wang thing as I'm a yankee fan, but I also feel that DH gives an advantage to players who cannot field. The point of DH is for a player to help the pitcher hit/run. Players like Ortiz/Giambi/Matsui cannot field much, but can hit or could hit play DH as extra power. AL have better offense now, while NL have better pitching so I feel that DH fits AL more.

I know I ranted about wanting the DH in the NL after Wang, but I was joking. I like the DH in the AL, but I'm not forit in the NL personally. Again there is that trade-off and a drasctially different style of playing. Plus, on the AL, you need to pay that one extra big hitter and use one of your roseter spots for him. I like the AL more because of the Yanks and I know the AL much better then the NL. In the AL, I know a lot or at least a decent amount about every team except the Rangers, Royals, and Mariners (Mariners I know some about, but I don't know all their players). The NL, I know less then a third of all the teams well. I can't even name more then 4 or 5 players on the Giants or Nationals.

Just keep it as it is, it gives the leagues diversity in play style

I for one am NOT a fan of the DH, I hate it, but I do agree that it's makes it more interesting if one league has it and another league doesn't.
