Shoot, no live draft? Anyway I could change your mind? The system works badly because it won't allow you to say if I sign ex first basemen, don't sign another all-star first basemen. I don't want Ryan Howard and Pujols on one team. We could do one and as many people who can come will come. Just make it friday around 6 eastern or something like that.

i know.
also, an auction draft would be cool.

I'm in, too, but I might not be able to check on it regularly. I have the greatest team name of all: =)

I found a few problems with the league set up. First, the stats you chose like no-hitters and cycles aren't necesarily the best stats considering their thrown/hit twice a year. For an unimportant stat like pick offs to be worth so much I also don't like, as well as hits if you have average. Why not do OBP,on base percentage, one of the most important stats in the game. Or even clutch hitting percentage, a personal favorite. The other problem is the draft, it would be really nice if we could try to schedule a time and try a real draft. If we can't change these settings, we might just want to make a new league (if you agree with me on this), it's easy to make a new team and league and we could copy our draft settings. Do you agree with me on this?

I agree about the no-nos, hits, and cycle hits, and OBP should be added, but CHP is such an obscure stat. We could add something like SLG or 2B.
Also, we do need a live draft.
I'll start an ESPN draft if we can't settle this by, say, the 20th?

It's an auto draft right now, but we're trying to see if we can pursuede him differently. We could always do an offline draft on our own time.

How does auto draft work? Are the players chosen at random? If so, you could get both A-Rod and Hanley on the same team

no, they're chosen based on the rankings you choose, and that alone.
that's why live drafts are better, or at least offline drafts.
