Posting:

* Individual players should be in their own thread, with the full name of the player and position(s) in the title. Don't add superlatives or any other shout outs to it... we will see your guys...
* If you post a team or a set of players, add players by editing your starting post so they're all in the same post. A bump to announce the edit is appropriate.
* Posting images are fine, provided they are small in dimension and data. 800x600 and ~50Kb should be the biggest you can post inline (using the [IMG] tag), anything larger, post a link or a clickable thumbnail instead.
* If you have wiki rights, add your player(s) and team(s) there as well!

3 new things:
First:
Whenever I release a new player, I will state it in my signature as well as change my avatar and or put a picture in my signature. All my players are themed and I do have pictures planned out. This way, it will be obvious when I update it. I'll also add a teaser (not in the story) for the next entry and player and give a date that I'll have the next entry by. This is particularly useful for my next guy who is based on something even better then doing the Fandango. It makes me Grim thinking about how it didn't do well at all despite all who have seen it thinking it was amazing. You'll know what I mean soon.
Next update: If not today, by Monday.
Second: While all my main players will be designed by me, the rest I'm willing to offer my services for. Like I did with a reliever and a catcher so far, I'm willing to make players that aren't going to be my main ones. By main players, I mean all 9 fielders (including DH), my first 3 starters (maybe more then those 3), and my closer. I want back-ups for injuries and I need to make some relievers. So, be free to request players that you'd like me to personally do, it will probably be much faster then the request problems. Unless you say something and ask me not to, I might make the players a little better then originally intended. I also like to name the players first and last (not the saved, you can choose that) myself and I prefer (but its not nesecary) to choose the look. I like choosing the date of birth (not age) and number as well to fit various themes I make for them, but again its not necessary. I don't want to make my players too good so that their not better then my starters, so I do have my limits.
Third: A bump in disguise, well sort of, I didn't edit my post

Having problems with my computer the past few days. Its working on and off, and I can't get my pictures to load. Sorry for the long delay, I will try to get them out today, but no promisses. If my computers working and I can get my wii back and take the pictures, then it will be today.

Wow, that's really well written. It's a page-turner. How often will you update this?
Edit: Oh crap, just saw the last time he wrote was like over a month ago.

Sorry I've been so horrible with updating after leaving for two months, I'll do my best to get this back, but I may not have the time. Worst case scenario, I'll just list all my players. The hall-of-fame team is my top priority at this point.

I want to finish this, but I don't have the time to do the long chapters I did before. So I'll do a quicker format, and no more newspapers, there way too hard to format. So I'll be doing most of my players in much quicker succession, with a few paragraphs versus a page on each. I'll finish the story line as much as I can and shorten it. I have all but 1 starting pitcher on my team, and I might just pick a average one from someone else. So, I'll try to get my catcher today.

okay, that's good. I'd like to see some of these players. Don't feel rushed, we'll wait. I'm patient.

I'm playing around with a new type of format. Tell me what you think, it's pretty similar but less complicated and easier to write. Is this style of writing all right?

www.LasVegasDevils.com

Japanese All-Star Road Runner has slid his way into the Major Leagues
The Las Vegas Devils have also added Second Baseman Harden
A few months ago, the Las Vegas Devil's Grim Reaper was sure to be the greatest aquisition and star of the team. But now Japananes Second Basemen "Road Runner" might have something to say about that as an inside source familiar with the Devil's way of thinking have told us that Road Runner is joining the Devils. The pride of the Yamosaka Rays, Road-Runner was already considered a shoo-in for the Japanese Hall-Of-Fame. Batting such outragous averages like 470, 520, 560, 590, and even an incredible 650, it's incredible Road-Runner hasn't found his way in the MLB sooner. But what he personally prides himself even more in is his speed, having stolen 160 bases in one year, and 70+ every year after that.

For the first three years of his 5 year baseball career, Road-Runner was not suprisingly a lead-off man. But because of his stellar clutch hitting abilities, he was moved to clean-up role and immiedietly responded with a Japanse record of 230 RBIs. The move originally suprised everyone considering Road-Runner's utter lack of power. Yet he even improved on this, raising his power to only slightly below average and managing to knock 11 over the fence. But what was so incredible was the 59 Inside-The-Park Homeruns that he hit that year, unheard of in Japan or even the U.S.. His incredible numbers have led his Yamosaka Rays to the World Series over the Saimato Yankees (who were consitintly the second-best team in the game every year).

His best numbers were posted in his fourth year of his career in which he got MVP and the Triple Crown. He hit 650, hit 60 homers (including inside the park), and knocked 230 RBI. He also stole 160 bases. A source familiar with the Devil's thinking have released Road Runner's vague scouting report, rating him on a scale of A-G for various stats.
Contact: A Maxed
Power: D+
Base Running: A Maxed
Arm Strength: A Maxed
Fielding: A Maxed
Error Resistance: A Maxed
Extra Information: Road Runner has amazing BASE RUNNING and STEALING, and a scary TOUGH RUNNER who dives in HEAD FIRST. He is a GOLDEN GLOVER and is a very good PIVOT MAN. He BREAKS UP DOUBLE PLAYS almost as much as he makes them. He is a CONTACT HITTER, a SPRAY HITTER, a PUSH HITTER, and an INFIELD HITTER. He has ARM STRENGTH and many more abilities/skills. Being such a great player, he is truly an INTIMADATOR in the batting box.

Road Runner is projected to be the lead-off hitter at this point, but it is possible that he could bat 3rd or even 4th depending on the players signed. He is almost certainly a short-stop, but he has some experience starting. The owner of the club, Lucifer Shaitain, had no comment as the news was not yet official.

On top of signing Road Runner, the Devil's have traded for highly touted Second-Baseman prospect JP Harden. While no Road Runner or Grim Reaper, Harden is certainly a good, solid player. While his scouting report was more vague (due to lack of memory or power to turn on the WII, power outage).
Here's the general report:
Contact: C-
Power: C-?
Arm Strength: C
Fielding: C
Error Resitance: C
Abilities: Very little, Arm Strength 4
Harden is very young and has a lot of potential. He is probably Major League ready. With the addition of Harden, the Devils currently only have three players and it seems unlikely they can meet the deadline of April and have a full roster. At the current moment, the most likely line-up is:
1. Road Runner SS
2. ?
3. JP Harden 2B
4. Grim Reaper 3B
5. ?
6. ?
7. ?
8. ?
9. ?
Of course, any of these could change depending on future signings.

The Making of:
After each post, I will write about what I actually did with the players, how I made them, my tips and strategies on making similar players, and how to best use them. Let's start with Road-Runner:
Road Runner was my second Success Mode player and my first since my game's memory was wiped. He was kind of a failure at the time and didn't live up to his name with only B- speed. He had all Ds and Es for fielding, F 28 power (Horrible, eh?), and a few abilities. So understandibly, I tried to improve him a little. Well, it turned out being a little more then a tiny improvement. After 4.5 years, I maxed every skill but power, which I brought from 28 to 93! I didn't want it to be D.

Now the stats I posted before were his real stats. He played for the Tampa Bay Rays and led them to 4 world series (every year but the last finsihing behind the Yankees who had Prince Fielder, A Ramirez, Ichiro, Burnet, Sheets, Wang, ect.). Yet I got so comfortable hitting with Road-Runner that even on expert (all powerful levels), I hit 650 one year after playing practially every game and managed to hit 60 home runs with 50 inside the park-homers (he got caught in a pickle about 30-40 times between third and home, and he always made it home). Now the next year, I only hit 14. How does one go from 60 to 14? Easy. One is a single homer away from getting the ability power-hitter, which Road-Runner shouldn't have, so I never hit another homer.

Road Runner was (anoyingly) used as a catcher most of the season his last year, yet still got a golden glove there. So he can play catcher pretty well, as could anyone with all As. If you want to use him for a different position, in season mode train him for the multiple positions ability.

I'm sure I forgot a lot, so I might add a little more.

Harden was much more simple. I played him for a year. Sicne I hadn't played Power Pros in a couple months, I was out of practice and struggled on expert MLB Life level. It was great fun fighting my way past triple a, being sent back down, and making it up again and fighting for a starting job. A little more then one third through the season and I was unfourtanetly back in the swing of things and unchallenged. Still, I liked making this guy a lot, and I made him so good in only a year of MLB Life thanks to Cub of the Ray's guide to MLB Life Players. Check that out, it's a stickey. His photos are posted below.

So, tell me what you think? Do you like the how I made this "How I made them" thing, or is it a waste of time? Really, I'd rather be a 'little hurt" then do this if theres no reason too, it takes a while.
Edit: Isn't the quality of the photos so much better?

Haha, nope. Maybe I should make one (not really). I'll add more players when I have access to my Wii (I might have some pics saved on my computer with the stats, so if so I can use that).

I've given up on doing the backsotry and really the whole log, as you can tell by the dates. But I finished my players, so I'm going to put them up. I just reposted Road-Runner, who is much improved, has good power, and most importantly, has Intimidator. He has several other additional abilities as well. Harden is improved a little too. Here are the players I've added now. I may put a little more back-story into it, but the main goal is to get it in as soon as possible. Here are the players that I have:
Offense:
1. Road Runner SS (Added)
2. Raksha, C
3. Iron Horse, 1B
4. Grim Reaper, 3B (Added)
5. Iron Horse, DH (Different player, remade this guy for better fielding, didn't want to make another after)
6. Kubel, LF
7. Zero, RF (Based off the character in last years success mode)
8. Marvin, CF
9. Harden, 2B (Added)
After I load them all up, I'll get to my pitching rotation.
