Ahh, the passion! You guys are hardcore, and that's why I love this forum.

I think its safe to say that one of you is wanting the Joba of today, while the other is wanting the Joba of tomorrow. I personally wouldn't mind seeing either one, but since this is being done for the sake of updating rosters as they are currently, the Joba of today should probably win out. Now if we could just get them to keep bringing this series over here to the states we might get to see the MLBPP Joba of tomorrow. If not then I guess we'll just have to keep updating rosters. :wink:

Yeah, I guess two would be fine, but I would still use the future one exclusively. Maybe I should make him, but I have trouble making starters.

I'm not as concerned with updating rosters, so that may be a problem. I just like making players I want to use or I am interested in playing with.

Yeah, I don't care to enough to update rosters, but I can see why some people would; it can be frustrating when a guy's not on the team and you know he's supposed to be there. But I guess its safe to say I stopped being realistic with this game a long time ago. :D

i think reliever should do... i doubt Joba will be starting this year. he has

a 97-100 mph fastball, a league average curve and change as hes still

working on them. his slider is his bread and butter though. as of now i

dont think anyone has a slider as fast or deceptive as Chamberlain

ANYWHERE in baseball, so level 5 or above should be good. if you guys

can make him realistic thad be amazing.

I made a Jacoby Ellsbury recently.

Kinda sucked when I remembered he was left handed...

He has A in contact and run speed (I think they're both maxed, I know run speed is)

I'll see if I can post him later.

Here is the first Joba I created. I made him the best I could and made him w/ SP stamina even though he is titled a relief pitcher. The fact they expect him to start by midseason is the reasoning behind it. I'll be making a weaker more realistic one also.

It's a shame that this game doesn't reflect height or weight. Even Creek for the Wild Pigs is normal, albeit extremely strong and slow.

I've thought about that in the past, that it is too bad they didn't incorporate the basic slider bars for height and weight that you have when making Miis. That would have been fairly simple and would have added another level of customization that would have been cool.

My 2nd Joba is complete. I was able to get Intimidator/Good Delivery along with the pitches and other abilities that others on this thread requested. I hope you guys like 'em.

Here's Bill Lee a Left Handed Pitcher who pitched for the Sox in the 70's. He's got 3 maxed out pitches, 105, A Stamina, A bunch of blue abilities including Intimidator.

I've used Tony and Tim Wroebel. Impressive. They get hits all the time (but I use lock-on 5). The batting stance (Sheffield?) is annoying.

But unlike the Nazis and Hitler, the Yankees have built an empire that will last forever. Might I say: 26 > 7, in fact 26 > 3 x 7. At this rate, if the Yankees don't win a WS for the rest of time, It'll still take the Red Sox 390 years to catch up. And Yankees is a real word - Sox isn't.
