* Individual players should be in their own thread, with the full name of the player and position(s) in the title. Don't add superlatives or any other shout outs to it... we will see your guys...
* If you post a team or a set of players, add players by editing your starting post so they're all in the same post. A bump to announce the edit is appropriate.

Whoa! Thanks SF96!

I made this guy a couple weeks back to fill out my all-star team roster. I wish I had made a log for him, because the logs SF96 made for his guys really shows how the build progressed, and how/when to get certain REs. But alas...I find it hard enough to have the patience to s/l all the times required, much less to log them all

Anyways, on this player I concentrated on doing Franks arc early, getting jaw and steakhouse, and boosting con/pow the first year. I also ran through Sittch early on to get the energy boosts, and up my points at the same time. I neglected doing any dating, which I regretted at the end, due to having several months of nothing to do from maxing everything early.

By the final year I had already maxed all stats exept power (which was about 210-220) so I basically just coasted from Feb of year 2 till the end of the game. If I had planned it out better, I could have easily done pattys arc, and probably a bit of Emilys too for Star. I regret not getting Intimidator, and Star because both would have been pretty easily accomplished based on the amount of free time I had left by the last year.

I missed Sparkplug from Marvin, due to excessive s/l and forgetting to make sure to keep his cave RE chain going. I had finished 3/5 of the REs, but then got distracted into the fountain RE arc, and totally lost Marvin ever showing up with his cave events again :|

The final year I basically just tried to get hit hitting zones during games, since I did not need points or coach/scout any longer, so i would replay games based on if I got a hot zone or not. I got two hot zones for one game, and one hot zone for each game aside from the Machsocks, so ended up with 6 zones hot out of 9. (6 games including the finale against Sittch).

At the end of the success mode, I started to get crazy, and bought a few pitchers abilities just for fun since I had nothing else to gamble on. At the end I also had over 9k in cash, so bought 12 surprise bags and tore them open like it was Xmas, just for fun to see what was inside. I ended up getting Poker Face from those bags when I got a SoP. I sold all the stuff I couldnt use, and bought another 5 surprise bags, and repeated the process, not getting anything good, but it was fun.

I skipped the skills Pull Hitter, and Head first Slide. I dont like either ability, and simply did not want them on this player. I think that will be a trend, and all my future players will skip these dubious skills as well.I find headfirst Slide only gets me injured in MyLife, and Pull Hitter is pretty worthless overall. I wanted to be complete, but these two skills are not going to be included in my plans for maxed players.

Thank you once again to SF96 for posting this up for me. I cannot take pics of my old TV screen with my digital camera, due to the refresh rates generating black lines across the pictures and making the passwords unreadable. I have several more players of this caliber, so i will find a way to get them all posted soon enough, but I really appreciate the extra work done by Smilingfaces96 to help get one of my guys up on here so I can feel like I am contributing something aside from just talk.

A funny idea came to me after I had already saved this guy that I wish I had thought of earlier. I wanted to make a team called the "Red Army" based on this player, and if I had left buying his extra positions to the end, I could have switched them up and made a whole team of Red who could play any position... a "Red Army". it would have been funny, and I could have made each one look different as well. They all would have C as prime position, and the same batting stance though, so the idea was more for fun then to truly make a super-team. It mostly would have just saved time on making more players to cover the rest of the field. I got the idea from Mr.Welz's player ?, who he made into several positions and slightly different builds by not saving and re-playing the final game several times. Oh well...maybe next player I will do that.

Enjoy the player.

Slim

There seems to be a surplus of C/3B/RF maxed players out there now. I will be making a 2B/1B/LF next with these same stats. But this time I will be getting Intimidator and Star as well I think. BTW I also have a password for this guy with Intimidator but he is 2 years older after running through MYLife mode for 2 seasons to get the skill. What a pain for something I should have gotten easily in the first place seeing as I had so much extra time on this guy...

On a side note, I hit a 528 ft homer with him last night (intimidator version though). Anyone else have luck bashing long homers with these maxed hitters? 528 is not my best ever, but its my longest in awhile.

Just because you have a second position doesn't mean you have 2nd Position 4.

Yeah I even played one of my sedcondary positions for the final game to see if I could get Second Position 4, but I did not get it. I dont think anyone knows how to get this skill yet or if it is even available for sucess mode players.

Break up DP, and 2nd Position 4 I do not know how to get currently. The wiki has no 2008 info on them yet, so if anyone knows how to get them, help us out.
