How do you get this ability?

I'm making a Wladimir Balentien and he plays center but most think his future is in left or right, so I want to give him that and the ability.

Buy a second position and you'll get it.

Yes, but how do you get that second position higher than a "C"?

He's talking about the ability, not "a" second position.

I know, but if you buy the ability, you still get it (I believe, I don't remember getting it anywhere else).

Forgive me if I'm skeptical; that would mean EVERY Success Mode player with more than one position would get 2nd Position 4. Yet, I just took a peek in the Password Exchange and found quite a few players with multiple fielding positions who didn't have 2nd Position 4.

I compleatly understand, I made a foolish jump of logic and basically assumed it would be. I most likely recived it from an event, but I believed thats how I got it and didn't really think about why. I can check today and see if this is actually real. If your skeptical of the fact that I got it, then I'm more then happy to find which player had it an link to the thread of him.

So does anyone know how to get the ability.

I'd say the most likely way might be from playing your second position, I did on the last game.

I can't afford to try the last game and then not get it....

If that happens, then just reset the wii or don't save your guy. You just say don't save for anything. Or, if you want your guy just in case, say no to the fitst thing, yes to the second and third.

I don't believe you can get 2nd Position 4. The reason I state this is because if you go and edit players, this is not even an option. I realize that you can go and set each position A-G in this mode. I don't believe you were able to get this last year.

I would agree if you could get it, the only way would be to play the last game in the other position. I doubt it though, but I have been wrong before.

You're automatically given 2nd P4 in Player Edit by boosting the fielding position level individually to B or higher. I don't see how this would affect availability in Success Mode.

Should we start a "The search for..." post?

Definitely, start it up! This would be an awesome ability to add to players. Maybe someone can email 2k?
