But in all seriousness, both chicago temas didn't play well at all. The White sox left something to be desired IMO and the cubs, they a fail'ed. 9 straight postseason losses. lol. fail'ed.

im more concerned about the NLCS... the phils?! im rooting for them, but I just never thought that that team could be this good.

If the Dodgers jump on the Phils fast and early with the top of the order, LA can withstand the occasional late-game homer from Philly. Otherwise, it's going to come down to who's pitching can keep the ball in the park more.

Dodgers are going to need to take at least the split in games 1-2 to have a chance.

thats why theres a very good offense, and some pretty good starters too.

The Dodgers have Torre (one of the best managers of all time), Manny (one of the best play-off hitters of all time), the best rotation in the NL and in the Play-Offs, clutch-hitting, and a pretty good offense. They also have a very strong closer but Lidge is having a carreer year as well as the best year of any closer this year (Mariano and Nathan can make a very strong argument as they both have an ERA that is 50 points lower, but neither are perfect. K-Rod's ERA and save percentage isn't comaprable to any of these guys)

Manny isn't going to win the NLCS by himself, as good as he is.The Dodgers faced the righty-heavy Cubs, but I don't think they will be as successful with the Phillies' lefties.

Haha, you know your stuff. Manny doesn't have to, the Dodgers have created a strong offense now that everyone is healthy and with trades. Manny just needs to be part of it. God, I can't believe I'm rooting for Manny.
