Another draft is in the books! We are entering the 7th year of forum fantasy, and the 6th year of Dish's reign as commissioner. It's also a big milestone for me, as it is year #5 of recaps. With that in mind, here is a summary of how the league is shaping up:

Past Champions:
2015: GoTwins24
2016: Prediction
2017: ZeroGibson13
2018: AgentP
2019: GoTwins24
2020: Queso James

Team Storylines:
The Jared Goff Lion Experience (Dishnet34)
With Kerryon Johnson's departure, Dish had to change the Lions-based team name, going with Jared Goff as the namesake. They started off with a duo of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, and a WR core led by Mike Evans and Cooper Kupp. They are hoping to avenge a disappointing exit from the semifinals last year.

Team Griffith (Jag123jg)
Last season, Team Griffith made their first postseason appearance with an incredible regular season that led to a number-one seed. However, things turned sour after they were upset by the Cig Squad in the semis. They will try to return to the same spot this year with a strong RB duo of Austin Ekeler and Johnathan Taylor, as well as a solid WR core of Allen Robinson and Julio Jones.

Odd Year Magic (GoTwins24)
There is a lot of pressure on Odd Year Magic to live up to their name this season. Last year was one to forget as they finished with their worst record in league history, although they avoided a catastrophe by acquiring David Montgomery at the end of the year. Now, they are led by a trio of Aaron Jones, Nick Chubb, and Keenan Allen.

Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115)
After the first four weeks of 2020, the Detroit Phantoms looked like the strongest team in the league. However, an injury to Dak Prescott sunk their chances, as it also caused Ezekiel Elliot to put up poor numbers. This season, Elliot returns, along with a scary receiving duo of Tyreek Hill and Justin Jefferson.

iPump Plastic (IPumpPlastic)
IPumpPlastic makes his entrance into the league, taking Cool Brees's spot. In his inaugural season, he focused on a strong RB trio of Dalvin Cook, Joe Mixon, and Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Along with Muffinz, he is the first entirely new member (Phillies rejoined the league in 2020) since 2018.

Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (Queso James)
The defending champion returns to defend their title in 2021. Although the team auto-drafted, they have a solid team. Saquon Barkley's health will be the main determinant of their fate, but they still have a good roster in case he does not return to his past form.

Atomic Pickles (AgentP)
The Pickles fell short in last season's championship game, so they will hope to become the second multi-year champion in the league again this year. They return Antonio Gibson to the team, and also can boast of a strong receiving core with Davante Adams and Terry McLaurin.

Los Angeles Aodgers (Kungfupandacam)
The Aodgers fell just short of the playoffs last year, so they will give their all to make it this time. They went with a hero-RB strategy bolstered by Alvin Kamara, and they will compete for the league's best receiving core with Stefon Diggs and Calvin Ridley.

Team Nick (PhillesFan134)
Team Nick received the #1 pick, becoming the first non-LGM team since 2017 to get the pick. As expected, they took Christian McCaffrey first. They also picked Darren Waller, who shot up draft boards over the summer. Marquez Callaway is their potential breakout pick, and they have high expectations for him as their WR2.

Bellwind High Football Club (Muffinz)
Bellwind High FC joined the league alongside iPumpPlastic, and ESPN and FantasyPros experts are big fans of their draft. They took Derrick Henry second overall, which is a good omen because Henry has been on each of the last two championship teams. They are also in contention for the league's best WR core with DeAndre Hopkins and D.K. Metcalf.

MLBPPWORLD FANTASY WEEK 1 RECAP

Odd Year Magic (GoTwins24) 124
Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115) 118

Summary:
It was a solid start to a potential redemption season for Odd Year Magic, who won their first season opener since 2017. It was a team effort, as only two players scored under 10 points: Aaron Jones and Jason Sanders. The former was much more significant since he was the team's first-round pick. They desperately need Green Bay's Week 1 offensive performance to be a one-off. Aside from those two, the rest of the team performed well. Nick Chubb and CeeDee Lamb both toed the 20-point line, and Keenan Allen came close to 15. However, they pursued a safe floor during the draft, which may hurt them if they do not have any 25+ point showings in the future. Still, it was an impressive win against a team that has given them trouble in the past. For the Phantoms, it was a different story. Instead of a high-floor, limited ceiling, the Phantoms had a boom-or-bust week. Their two scoring leaders, Kyler Murray and Tyreek Hill, each surpassed the 30-point mark. Hill and Murray could prove to be an explosive, high-upside duo as the season progresses, and there is a reason for optimism there. Yet, there were several duds- notably from Ezekiel Elliot, Brandon Aiyuk. and Raheem Mostert. Elliot faced a tough matchup and game-script, so the consensus is there is not much alarm there. For Aiyuk, his limited showing was concerning, but it can be potentially chalked up to a preseason injury. Raheem Mostert, in contrast, will miss the rest of the 2021 season as his injury issues flared up once again. This is a blow to the Phantoms, but arguably not severe because of Antonio Brown's resurgence in Tampa. Brown can easily replace Mostert at flex-2. Despite the loss, the Phantoms should still be in good shape going forward.

Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 102
iPump Plastic (iPumpPlastic) 148

Summary:
iPump Plastic made a major statement upon their entry into the league. In their debut, they scored the most points out of any team. Their scoring leader was Russell Wilson, who put up 26 in a highly efficient showing. Russ's performance also helped Tyler Lockett score 24, and a 50-point combination between QB and WR will always put a team in a good spot. Adam Thielen was superb as well, scoring two touchdowns in a 25.5-point outing. There were preseason concerns about TD regression from Thielen, but he gave his all to dismiss these concerns in Week 1. In addition to strong WR performances, iPump Plastic also benefitted from great RB play. Dalvin Cook and Joe Mixon combined for just about 40 points, which was highly impressive given how many highly-touted runningbacks struggled in the first week. The flex starters for the team did not perform as well as hoped, with Edwards-Helaire and Edmonds combining for just around 20, but that could be a result of unlucky game-scripts. The biggest red-flag came from Mike Gesicki's zero-point outing. iPump Plastic does not have a backup TE option, so they will need Gesicki to return to 2020 form. Even still, it was an incredible opening performance from the new team. The Atomic Pickles never really had a chance to win, although they got off to an excellent start with 27 points from Dak Prescott. Prescott was the only player to go over 20 points, though, as the rest of the team struggled. A notable exception was David Montgomery, who looked very good against Aaron Donald and LA's defense. Antonio Gibson was somewhat underwhelming, but his usage paints an encouraging picture of his prospects for this season. There are rumblings that Ron Rivera could use Gibson in a McCaffrey-esque role this season, which would greatly benefit the Pickles. Aside from this, Davante Adams and Terry McLaurin struggled, although given the rest of Green Bay's numbers, 7.5 points from Adams was impressive. Another issue could be the team's flex positions, as Henry Ruggs and Laviska Shenault each failed to score over 10, but Ja'Marr Chase is available off the bench. Chase silenced doubters of his catching ability quite nicely, and looks to be a strong flex play. There are concerns for the Pickles, but they can turn it around.

Bellwind High Football Club (MUFFINZ) 132.5
Break the Walls Down (PhilliesFan134) 110.5

Summary:
Bellwind High made their entry into the league in a quite similar fashion to their counterpart, falling just shy of the first power ranking spot. They got off to a great start Thursday night thanks to Tom Brady's 27-point showing, and they never really looked back. DeAndre Hopkins, D.K. Metcalf, and Mike Williams each had great showings, as well as Chris Godwin and Deebo Samuel off the bench. Based on Week 1, Bellwind High could have the best receiving core in the league. This more than made up for Derrick Henry's poor showing. Henry scored just 7.5 points, although he has been a slow starter in recent seasons. Henry was actually outplayed by both Miles Sanders and Darrell Henderson, who each recorded 14. If Henry returns to 2019/20 form, Bellwind High has to be favored in many of their games. The only other let-down was Mark Andrews, who scored just 3.5 points. Andrews's performance is arguably more concerning than Henry's, as the Ravens do not have many receiving targets to compete with him. Eric Ebron also struggled on the bench, so TE could potentially be an issue for Bellwind High this season. Even still, if this were a best-ball league, Bellwind High would have dominated everyone, which is a promising sign for them. Break the Walls Down trailed early, but they made it much closer thanks to namesake Darren Waller's 21-point game. Waller and 1st-overall pick Christian McCaffrey will each set high expectations for this team, as McCaffrey also looked great in his return from an injury-plagued 2020. Aside from those two, Kareem Hunt was the only starter to reach double figures with 14.5. The biggest concern in the starting lineup might be their WR position as Marquez Callaway scored just a point and a half, Robert Woods scored just under 10, and Tyler Boyd scored under 5. The team does have a plethora of RBs available, so they could leverage that to improve at WR if need be. Despite the loss, it was still a decent showing for Break the Walls Down.

The Jared Goff Lion Experience (Dishnet34) 118.5
Team Griffith (jag123jg) 61.5

Summary:
When a team can boast of a Patrick Mahomes-Travis Kelce pairing, they are likely to have a chance to win almost any game they play. This was indeed the case for the Jared Goff Lion Experience this week, as Mahomes and Kelce combined for 54 points. Before Sunday's slate, ESPN projected them to score around only 70, but Mahomes and Kelce smashed this expectation. Cooper Kupp also helped, scoring nearly 20 and proving to be Stafford's favorite target at this point. Josh Jacobs was also strong, scoring just over 15 points and carrying the team over the century mark in points. The biggest concern with the team right now is Tampa Bay's backfield, as both Ronald Jones and Leonard Fournette struggled against Dallas. Jones fumbled, leading to a negative point output, and Fournette scored just 7.5. Also in Tampa, Mike Evans performed poorly by scoring just 3.5 points. If Evans continues to struggle, it could be a major concern for the Jared Goff Lion Experience, but it is still early. Evans is also known for having some poor performances mixed in with strong showings. Hollywood Brown and D.J. Chark also looked strong off the bench, which would solidify the WR position if sustained. It was a big win for the newly-named team as they hope to return to the postseason. Last year's best regular season team struggled mightily this week, which was shocking given their roster is solid on paper. This can largely be chalked up to Aaron Rodgers's atrocious performance, as last year's MVP lost the team a point. Given other QB showings this week, this hurt Team Griffith significantly. Their WR play struggled to offset Rodger's struggle, as every receiver, with the exception of DJ Moore, failed to score double digits. George Kittle also struggled, scoring just 7. Jonathan Taylor and Austin Ekeler were okay if separated from the rest of the team, but their outings were disappointing given the rest of the team's struggles. As a result of the performance, Team Griffith orchestrated a blockbuster deal, acquiring Alvin Kamara from the Aodgers in exchange for Austin Ekeler and Allen Robinson.

Los Angeles Aodgers (Kungfupandacam) 111
Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (Queso James) 130

Summary:
The defending champion made a statement with a 19-point win. Despite auto-drafting, the Cig Squad appear to be a contender once again. This was immediately clear Thursday night, as Amari Cooper scored 31.5 points in the performance of the week. From there, the team never looked back. TJ Hockenson exceeded expectations and matched Darren Waller's total for the second-highest scoring performance from the TE position. Overall, their pass catchers were excellent, as every single receiver on the roster scored 10 or more points, with the exception of Kenny Golladay. This more than made up for poor showings from each of their RBs- with Najee Harris, James Robinson, and Saquon Barkley all scoring under or a little over 5. Najee Harris isn't as much of a concern since he was on the field for every single snap, but James Robinson and Saquon Barkley's usage could be concerning going forward. If anything, the team could leverage their immense WR depth to acquire another RB, as ESPN's autodraft formula left them with just 3 on the roster. QB could also be a concern as Tannehill and Mayfield each scored under 15 points, although it should be much easier to improve at QB than at RB. Despite their RB struggles, the Cig Squad looks to be as formidable as ever. The Aodgers lost because they did not have any dominant performances. Only three players failed to score over 10 points, and each of them scored over 5. However, their upside was limited this week, as D'Andre Swift was their scoring leader thanks to a 19-point game. It was a similar story on the bench, as the unit scored just 35.5 points. To address this, the Aodgers conducted a major trade with Team Griffith. They sent Alvin Kamara, who scored 15.5 points, in exchange for Austin Ekeler and Allen Robinson. Ekeler and Robinson were okay for Team Griffith this week, but they will almost certainly see their roles increase in the future. In sum, Los Angeles were one or two breakout performances away from an impressive win, so they will likely be in contention this year.

MLBPPWORLD FANTASY WEEK 2 RECAP

Odd Year Magic (GoTwins24) 147
Bellwind High Football Club (MUFFINZ) 153.5

Summary:
It was a battle between the top two teams in this week's power rankings, and Bellwind High came out on top. Derrick Henry was an absolute force, carrying both the Titans and Bellwind to a win with a 44-point showing. Tom Brady looks as good as ever as he scored 29 points thanks to 5 TD passes. With these performances, Bellwind only needed solid showings from the rest of their roster, and they got just that. Deebo Samuel looks to be San Francisco's top receiving option, and he leads the NFL in receiving yards. Samuel scored 12 for Bellwind this week. Additionally, Darrell Henderson was good, scoring 14. Although, Henderson left the game with an injury and looks set to miss some time. Luckily for Bellwind, they have multiple options off the bench, including DK Metcalf, Mike Williams, and potentially Devin Singletary as well. Many experts picked them as the league's best team after the draft, and they appear to be justifying those predictions so far. Odd Year Magic looked defeated at around 5 PM Sunday night, but they nearly made a miraculous comeback. Lamar Jackson started the attempt by scoring 31 points. He could have gotten more had he connected on an early touchdown to Marquise Brown, but 31 points is still an incredible showing. The best performer, though, was Aaron Jones. After scoring just 2 points last week, Odd Year Magic could have been worried about Jones, but these worries have been excised. Jones scored 37 points this week, which was nearly enough to stun Bellwind High. The team also featured several strong outings from Nick Chubb, Keenan Allen, Damien Harris, CeeDee Lamb, and Diontate Johnson, but they could have used one more touchdown from any of these players. Their ultimate mistake was keeping Jason Sanders, who scored no points. Had they picked up another kicker, they would have won in shocking fashion. Still, they look poised to make another signature odd year push.

iPump Plastic (iPumpPlastic) 110.5
Team Griffith (jag123jg) 99.5

Summary:
iPump Plastic improved to 2-0 thanks in large part to their Seattle duo. Russell Wilson and Tyler Lockett combined for nearly 50 points, as the deep-ball connection was working all day. Lockett is a top-5 receiver so far, and if he can keep that up, iPumpPlastic's roster will be in good shape. Adam Thielen has been good as well, as he put up 12 points. The biggest question for iPump Plastic right now is whether predictions for Thielen TD regression will come true, but these predictions have not held up so far. Another question may be at both flex positions, as Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Chase Edmonds combined for only a little over 10 points. Edwards-Helaire also lost a key fumble, so Andy Reid may pivot away from him like he did last year. Even still, the league's newest team has gotten off to a strong start, and their RB position should be strong enough despite early struggles. Team Griffith fell to 0-2 in a disappointing showing. The biggest reason for this was Alvin Kamara's no-show afternoon. The Saints' runningback scored just 4 points, which was unexpected after his 2020 season. Jonathan Taylor also failed to make an impact with just 5.5 points. Additionally, George Kittle was hardly targeted, finishing with just 3 points. When Kamara, Taylor, and Kittle combine for little over 10 points, it is going to be a tough week for Team Griffith. Luckily for them, DJ Moore and Julio Jones appear to be solid receivers so far, which could buy time and breathing room for Taylor, Kittle, and Kamara to overcome their struggles. Still, 0-2 is a tough start, so Team Griffith will need to right the ship as soon as possible.

Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 99.5
Los Angeles Aodgers (kungfupandacam) 105

Summary:
The Aodgers won a close, 5.5-point victory over the Pickles. They can credit this win to the Los Angeles Chargers, as although LA lost, Justin Herbert and Austin Ekeler did just enough to get a win. The pair combined for 31.5 points, as Ekeler showed his potential in the passing game. Stefon Diggs also scored a crucial touchdown, and he looks to have silenced some early concerns about his Week 1 showing. If Josh Allen returns to 2020 form, Diggs can easily put up a WR1 season. Calvin Ridley also silenced early season concerns, as although Atlanta's offense looks shaky, Ridley will receive enough targets to potentially offset this. The team's biggest issue could be the TE position, as Dallas Goedert scored just 3 points, and they have no backup options off the bench. They do have several potential trade assets, so they could use them to improve at TE if they determine it necessary. Although Los Angeles benefitted from some matchup luck, a win is a win. The Pickles fell to 0-2 in a frustrating defeat. Their most frustrating performances came from Dak Prescott and Antonio Gibson, each of whom scored just 7 points. Gibson had much of his production vultured away by J.D. McKissic. The Pickles have to hope this is not a long-term trend, as it would devastate them at RB. Prescott struggled because Dallas focused heavily on the run, which is another trend the Pickles will need to hope is not long-term. There were some positives, mainly a 20-point showing from Terry McLaurin. Heinicke looks to be a positive upgrade for McLaurin, and it could take him to a top-5/10 finish. Davante Adams also bounced back from last week with 16 points, anchored by a 50-yard catch. Ultimately, the Pickles' season rests on whether Antonio Gibson will come close to a top-10 finish at RB, or they could look to improve the position via trade.

Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115) 130
The Jared Goff Lion Experience (Dishnet34) 140

Summary:
The Jared Goff Lion Experience improved to 2-0 via a statement win. Early on, they were in a good spot, as Cooper Kupp scored 32.5 points. The Lion Experience bet on Stafford choosing Kupp as his primary target over Robert Woods, and this bet appears to have paid off. Another bet was investing heavily in Tampa Bay's title defense. This week, Rob Gronkowski, Leonard Fournette, and the team's defense combined for 45 key points. The team also traded Ronald Jones and Mike Evans in exchange for Melvin Gordon and Antonio Brown. Jones appears to be in Bruce Arians's doghouse, so this move might work out. Brown will need to come closer to his Week 1 game, though, as Mike Evans rebounded nicely. Ultimately, the duo of Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes won the team the game once again, as they combined for 42.5 points. Kansas City will be in shootouts all season it looks like, which will put the Lion Experience in great shape in almost any week. The Phantoms finished on the wrong side of the Michigan rivalry, although they came quite close to pulling out a win. Kyler Murray looks like the potential QB1 and league MVP this year, as he outscored Mahomes by double-digits this week. Mike Evans played well in a bounceback game against his old team, surpassing the 20-point mark. Ezekiel Elliot, Chris Carson, and Justin Jefferson all reached the 15-point mark, which was important considering Jefferson and Elliot's Week 1 struggles. Both will still be fighting for touches and carries, though, so they will need to be efficient going forward. The biggest concern is at the TE position, as Tyler Higbee surprisingly struggled after a promising Week 1. They do not have any options on the bench, so they will need Higbee to be better or they will need to turn to the waiver wire or the trade market. The Phantoms are arguably the unluckiest 0-2 team, and they should be a contender still, but they will need better luck.

Break the Walls Down (PhilliesFan134) 96.5
Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (Queso James) 103.5

Summary:
The Cig Squad improved to 2-0 thanks to a walk-off touchdown from TJ Hockenson. Hockenson has been fantastic so far this season, and he could potentially replace George Kittle as the 3rd-best tight end in the league. Brandin Cooks was actually the team's highest scorer, as he scored 17. Cooks has seen many targets so far, but his production could weaken with Tyrod Taylor's injury. Even still, Cooks could make the case as the most underrated receiver in the league. Najee Harris also scored in double-digits for the first time in his career. Although Najee's production has not been great, his volume could be high enough to justify his RB1 status. Najee received nearly 100% of his team's carries, which is Derrick Henry-like volume. The team should have probably scored more, but both AJ Brown and Amari Cooper struggled. The latter left the game with an injury, which could be concerning for the Cig Squad going forward, but the extent of the injury is unknown. Most importantly, Saquon Barkley has struggled, which is alarming given his first-round selection. It is still early, and it appears the Cig Squad can pivot to other options. Despite these concerns, the Cig Squad will take the 2-0 start. For Break the Walls Down, if Darren Waller had replicated his Week 1 outing, they would have gotten a victory. Instead, Waller scored just 8.5 points, which is low by his standards. The WR position is the biggest alarm overall, as no receiver in the starting lineup scored over 10 points. Tyler Boyd scored 10.5 points off the bench, so he may be a potential replacement. Break the Walls Down really needs Josh Allen to return to his 2020 MVP-like form. Allen scored just 16, while a 2020-like 30-point game would have won his team the game. It will be interesting to see how Break the Walls Down addresses the WR position, as it may determine their season result.

Standings:
Alvin Lockhart Division
iPump Plastic 2-0
The Jared Goff Lion Experience 2-0
Odd Year Magic 1-1
Detroit Phantoms 0-2
Team Griffith 0-2

Gilgamesh Star Division
Bellwind High Football Club 2-0
Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad 2-0
Los Angeles Aodgers 1-1
Break the Walls Down 0-2
Atomic Pickles 0-2

Power Rankings (Based on Total Points Scored):
1. Bellwind High Football Club (286)
2. Odd Year Magic (271)
T.3. The Jared Goff Lion Experience (258.5)
T.3. iPump Plastic (258.5)
5. Detroit Phantoms (248)

MLBPPWORLD FANTASY WEEK 3 RECAP

The Jared Goff Lion Experience (Dishnet34) 107
Odd Year Magic (GoTwins24) 97

Summary:
The Jared Goff Lion Experience continued their undefeated season, improving to 3-0. Once again, the trio of Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Cooper Kupp led them to a win. Kupp was the scoring leader with 25.5 points, and as it stands, he is the WR1 in fantasy. If this holds, he is the value pick of the year. Justin Tucker also played a pivotal role, scoring 16, including a game-winner and record-setting kick. The team could have performed even better than the numbers ultimately showed, as Marquise Brown dropped a plethora of touchdown passes from Lamar Jackson, which would have made this a much higher scoring game overall if caught. Rob Gronkowski also suffered an injury, which held him to 7 points. Robby Anderson and Tampa’s defense lost the team points, and if they had scored in the positive, the Jared Goff Lion Experience would have increased their point total even more. Still, they sit at an impressive 3-0 and lead their division. Odd Year Magic fell to 1-2 in a disappointing showing. Last week, they scored the second-highest in the league, but still lost. This week, they regressed, and could not get past the century mark. There were a few decent showings, like the ones from Aaron Jones and Keenan Allen. Overall, though, it was a major step back for a plethora of players. Nick Chubb had his worst game of the season as Kareem Hunt took the majority of carries and opportunities. Heading into Monday, the team needed 21 points from two receivers, but both CeeDee Lamb and Devonta Smith were underwhelmed by scoring less than 10. It will be a pivotal game for Odd Year Magic next week, as they cannot afford to be 1-3.

Los Angeles Aodgers (Kungfupandacam) 129.5
Team Griffith (jag123jg) 116

Summary:
Los Angeles improved to 2-1, largely thanks to the other Los Angeles team. Justin Herbert and Austin Ekeler combined for just about 50 points in a statement victory over Kansas City. D’Andre Swift was their other pivotal performer, as his 19.5 points were key in the win. Aside from those three, Denver’s defense sealed the deal, taking advantage of Zach Wilson’s struggles to score 17 points. Everyone else in the lineup was just okay, and the team will have to hope for more than 20 combined points from Calvin Ridley and Stefon Diggs. Allen Robinson was also nowhere to be found, scoring just 3 points. On paper, LA appears to have a great receiving core, but they will have to produce more going forward. Team Griffith fell to a disappointing 0-3, matching their loss total from 2020. They performed better than they did the last two weeks, but they still could not pull off the win. Their performance was similar to Odd Year Magic’s, as no one was terrible, but no one was particularly great either. No players scored over 20 points, which will always make it difficult to win. They really need the Alvin Kamara acquisition to pay dividends. Kamara was okay this week, scoring 17.5, but they really need him to score 25+ consistently. They also need Jonathan Taylor to step up, as they spent high draft capital on him. Taylor has failed to score double digits in every week so far, which has definitely hurt Team Griffith’s chances. Additionally, they need Ben Roethlisberger to rediscover any of his old abilities, because Juju Smith-Schuster managed to score 5.5 points, even in Diontae Johnson’s absence. An 0-3 start will be difficult to overcome, so Team Griffith will need to hope these struggles can resolve quickly.

Smokin’ Jay’s Cig Squad (Queso James) 109
Bellwind High Football Club (MUFFINZ) 126.5

Summary:
Bellwind High’s dominance over the league continued as the team improved to 3-0, and maintained the top spot in the power rankings. Like usual, Tom Brady led the way, scoring 28 points in a shootout this week. DK Metcalf was their second-best scorer, putting up 19 in his return to the starting lineup. Actually, the team’s leading scorer- Mike Williams- was on the bench, but they still won comfortably. This showcases the team’s incredible depth, as they can continue to rotate players and find success. They scored less than week in comparison to previous weeks, mainly because Miles Sanders and DeAndre Hopkins did not produce much. Sanders received very few touches, and Hopkins was not 100% after his injury last week. Had these two performed up to expectations, they would have blown past the 140 mark once again. All the early signs point to them as the favorite this year. The defending champs fell to 2-1, although one injury could’ve made a major difference. AJ Brown missed the game due to an early injury, and he failed to score a single point. Had Brown scored 17.5 or more, which is plausible, the Cig Squad would have pulled off a win. Instead, scoring 0 points from a player is hard to overcome when your opponent does have any of the same performances. In addition, Amari Cooper and TJ Hockenson had unexpected poor showings, as neither scored over 5 points. There were optimistic signs still, as Najee Harris and Saquon Barkley combined for around 40 points. Both of these running backs do not have much competition, so there should not be much of a struggle for them to receive volume. James Robinson also scored over 20, and the same argument about volume holds for him. Ultimately, Brown’s injury will be key to monitor, but the Cig Squad will be competing for another playoff spot if all goes well.

Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115) 148.5
iPump Plastic (iPumpPlastic) 110.5

Summary:
It was a statement win for the Detroit Phantoms, and was quite a way to win their first game. Everything seemed to come together this week, as they scored the highest out of all teams. The only non-kicker to score under 10, somehow, was Tyreek Hill. Everyone else was fantastic, and Ezekiel Elliot silenced a lot of doubt by scoring a team-high 24.5 points. Justin Jefferson also looked like his 2020 self, surpassing the 20-point mark. Even the bench was incredible, scoring 75.5 points. Even Brandon Aiyuk, who had a terrible first two weeks, scored over 10. Kyler Murray was still solid, although he dropped off a bit compared to his first two weeks. If the Phantoms continue this momentum, it will be hard to beat them in any week. iPump Plastic suffered some tough matchup luck, facing the best team in the league this week. They were also dealt a blow before the games started, as Dalvin Cook missed due to injury. They could not draft Alexander Mattison, so they felt Cook’s absence quite significantly. Their running-back play just wasn’t the same without him, although Clyde Edwards-Helaire was much better than previous weeks with a 15-point outing. There were also some performance regressions, mainly from Adam Thielen and Tyler Lockett. Thielen was still solid with 14.5 points, but Lockett scored just 5. Lockett suffered an injury, but he did return to the game. Lockett was plagued by inconsistency in 2020, so iPump Plastic will hope this is not going to be the case again this year. They also nearly matched the Phantoms’ bench point total even with an injured player, which is a good sign for their depth going forward.

Break the Walls Down (PhilliesFan134) 89
Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 96.5

Summary:
The Atomic Pickles won their first game of the season, although they benefitted from some matchup luck. They actually scored the second-lowest total of the week, but faced the team with the lowest total. They were anchored by Davante Adams, who scored 25 points in a 2020-like performance. Ja’Marr Chase, who may be the frontrunner for Rookie of the Year, continued his dominant start to the season with a 20-point outing. On Monday night, Dak Prescott propelled the team to a win, making up for his lackluster Week 2. It was close, but Prescott threw a few key second-half touchdowns that sealed the win. They would’ve hit the century mark had they received a better defensive performance. Washington’s defense was highly esteemed heading into the season, but they’ve struggled mightily so far this year. This week, they lost 8 points, which nearly derailed the week for the Pickles. Fortunately for them, their opponent also struggled, so they avoided an 0-3 start. This was not the case for Break the Walls Down, who fell to 0-3 despite Josh Allen’s MVP-worthy outing. Allen put up 36 points, which harkened back to his 2020 season. This was what the team expected when they drafted him, and he looks primed to keep this up over the next few weeks. Despite Allen’s dominance, the team lost because most of the lineup failed to score in double digits. Tyler Boyd was the only other player to do so, although just barely. Ty’Son Williams was arguably the biggest let-down, as he had a favorable matchup against Detroit’s defense, but Baltimore under-used him. Another let-down was Robert Woods, who the team had faith in to become a WR1 this year. He has failed to live up to those high expectations and is having his worst ever fantasy season thus far. Ultimately though, the loss can be chalked up to Kareem Hunt not being started. Had Hunt played, the team would have won comfortably. It’s tough to swallow this week, but Hunt could be just what the team needs to save their season. Regardless, they need a boost quickly.

Standings:
Alvin Lockhart Division
The Jared Goff Lion Experience 3-0
iPump Plastic 2-1
Detroit Phantoms 1-2

Gilgamesh Star Division
Bellwind High Football Club 3-0
Los Angeles Aodgers 2-1
Smokin’ Jay’s Cig Squad 2-1

Break the Walls Down 1-2

Power Rankings (Based on Total Points Scored):
1. Bellwind High Football Club (412.5)
2. Detroit Phantoms (396.5)
3. iPump Plastic (369)
4. Odd Year Magic (368)
5. The Jared Goff Lion Experience (365.5)

MLBPPWORLD FANTASY WEEK 4 RECAP

Odd Year Magic (GoTwins24) 99.5
iPump Plastic (iPumpPlastic) 109.5

Summary:
iPump Plastic improved to an impressive 3-1 with a 10-point victory. Their strongest performance came from Russell Wilson, who although started off slow, eventually picked his play up in the second half and finished with 21 points. Arguably though, the best sign came from their flex positions, as Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Chase Edmonds combined for 33 points, which was actually more than Dalvin Cook and Joe Mixon. Edmonds and CEH struggled to start the season, but they ended up as the crucial performers this week. Mike Gesicki was also much better- benefitting from a greater opportunity share. This was especially necessary because Cook, Mixon, Lockett, and Thielen each underwhelmed. Had they performed up to their usual standards, it would have been a blow-out, but iPump Plastic will take the win and a tentative playoff spot. Odd Year Magic lost their third straight, and the concerning signs are building. Logan Thomas immediately left the game with a hamstring injury, which throws their TE situation in flux. CeeDee Lamb and Keenan Allen were supposed to be a strong WR core, but they each performed terribly this week, combining for just 8.5 points. The team has failed to score enough touchdowns, which has affected Nick Chubb and Damien Harris especially. In fact, the only non-QB to score was Diontae Johnson, who found the end-zone just one. Had Johnson not scored, it would have been an even worse performance. When your kicker is your fourth-best scorer, you are likely to be in some trouble, and Odd Year Magic now faces a stretch where they must go at least 3-1 in their next 4 to have a chance.

Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (Queso James) 107.5
The Jared Goff Lion Experience (Dishnet34) 126.5

Summary:
The Jared Goff Lion Experience improved to 4-0- an ironic opposite of their namesake who fell to 0-4 in real football this week. Once again, they were anchored by Patrick Mahomes, who has given them a chance to win in every single week. This week, Mahomes was extremely efficient, throwing five touchdown passes. The team's second-highest scorer was Hollywood Brown, which was a redemption story after his several drops last week. Leonard Fournette was also better than he's been so far this season, scoring 14.5. These showings offset let-downs from Cooper Kupp and Travis Kelce. Both of these players have dominated so far in 2021, but they each scored under 10 points despite favorable matchups. Still, if the Lion Experience can win despite Kupp and Kelce scoring under 10, they will be favored in every week they play. They are the last unbeaten team, and it will be interesting to see how long they can keep that trend going. The defending champion fell to 2-2 in a bit of an underwhelming game. Saquon Barkley was anything but underwhelming, though, as he scored 26.5 points. If Barkley returns to his 2018 form, the Cig Squad will be in playoff contention for sure. Najee Harris has not been great from a real football standpoint, but he has been a top-5 fantasy RB simply due to target volume. Also, James Robinson benefitted from volume to score nearly 20. In terms of running backs, the Cig Squad should be set for a good season. WR is more questionable, as Amari Cooper seems to be struggling with injuries, and Marvin Jones and Brandin Cooks have fallen down to earth after hot starts. AJ Brown's health could be a major factor in determining the course of their season, as they could be in desperate need of a legit WR1, especially if Amari Cooper misses any time. Still, a 2-2 start is not bad, especially for an auto-drafted roster.

Team Griffith (jag123jg) 147
Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115) 125

Summary:
After an 0-3 start, things looked concerning for Team Griffith. They had scored the least amount of points across the league, in spite of a good roster on paper. It seemed only a matter of time before they broke out, and that was exactly what happened this week. Shockingly, Cordarelle Patterson scored a career-high 31.5 points, leading the team. DJ Moore followed, scoring 27, and Jonathan Taylor scored 18.5. Aaron Rodgers was also highly efficient, putting up 23 points. These players established a key baseline that would be difficult for the Phantoms to overcome. One can only imagine how much more they could have scored had Alvin Kamara performed to his 2020 standard. Kamara has failed to impress since being acquired via trade, although he still provides a solid floor week-to-week. George Kittle also struggled, although he is dealing with a nagging injury. If Kittle continues to struggle, the team does have Dalton Schultz on the bench, and Schultz has been better so far this year. This continues the theme of unexpected risers this year, which has hurt Team Griffith so far. But if their top players continue to impress, and Cordarelle Patterson can continue to put together a breakout campaign, they could push for a last-to-first type of season. The Phantoms were victims of poor matchup luck again this week, and they fell to an undeserved 1-3. Most of their production came from a few players, however, as Tyreek Hill went off for an astounding 41.5 points. Ezekiel Elliot silenced many doubters also, scoring 20 points. He also looks to have a great game script, as Dallas seems to have shifted to a run-first approach. Justin Jefferson also looks to be reaching his 2020-level of consistency, as he has surpassed the 15-point mark in each of his last three games. Despite these great games, the Phantoms were hurt by some duds. Chris Carson scored just 3.5 after reaching 15 in each of the last two weeks, which was killer. Also, Brandon Aiyuk's horrific 2021 has hampered Detroit's success this season. Many pinned Aiyuk as 2021's breakout, but Deebo Samuel took that role from him. Despite this loss, though, the Phantoms should still compete going forward, but they may need to figure out their flex situation.

Los Angeles Aodgers (Kungfupandacam) 121.5
Break the Walls Down (Philliesfan134) 100.5

Summary:
Los Angeles improved to 3-1 with a 20-point win. This was achieved via a big night Monday- with Justin Herbert and Austin Ekeler combining for 46.5 points. Ekeler could be the acquisition of the year so far, as he is yet to score under 10 points. Aside from these two, no one else was great, although a few players gave solid efforts. Stefon Diggs and Calvin Ridley were okay, but Los Angeles expected them to routinely score over 15, and that just hasn't happened so far. They have seen their targets go to other receivers- like Cordarelle Patterson or Dawson Knox- so they will hope they can return to a 2020-like target share. Dallas Goedert was a pleasant surprise, as he scored 13.5- which was more than the last two weeks combined. Their biggest concern is at flex- as Allen Robinson and Trey Sermon combined for just 15.5 points. They do have Darnell Mooney available off the bench, and Mooney may be Justin Fields's favorite target (though Matt Nagy stubbornly refuses to commit to either of these players). Myles Gaskin has also had a terrible season, and he scored not a single point this week. They may look to further improve at flex via trade or free agency, but they are still in an okay spot. Break the Walls Down fell to 0-4, and it is clear Christian McCaffrey's injury has been costly. Their issue this week was although no one performed poorly (minus Cole Beasley), no one was great either. Their leader was Josh Allen, although he scored just 19- down from 36 last week. Their namesake Darren Waller was just average, scoring 13 points. The biggest positives may be Tyler Boyd and Jakobi Meyers, each of whom scored in double-digits with positive target shares. Robert Woods was also better than usual, but the team really needs him to score more, as they expected him to carry WR1 potential. At 0-4, they are in a bit of a hole, and so they will have to do everything in their power to avoid an early elimination.

Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 141.5
Bellwind High Football Club (MUFFINZ) 127

Summary:
The Atomic Pickles pulled off the upset of the season so far- proving they will still be contenders this year. Bellwind looked unbeatable in the first three weeks, and they still would have been most teams this week. But the Atomic Pickles went above and beyond, thanks in large part to Washington's offense. Terry McLaurin and Antonio Gibson combined for 41 points, which is what the Pickles expected from the pairing. Dak Prescott was also highly efficient, scoring 26 points in a run-dominated game from Dallas. David Montgomery was also superb, although this was spoiled by the news that Montgomery will miss the next 5 weeks with a serious injury. The team now has a hole at RB2- so they will have to replace Montgomery with one of three rookies- Michael Carter, Javonte Williams, or Kenny Gainwell. They could also look to acquire Damien Williams if possible. Somehow, they could have performed even better, as Davante Adams scored just 9 points this week- a far cry from his 25 last week. In sum, while there was some negative injury news, the Pickles made a statement against the #1 team in the power rankings. Bellwind lost their first game for a few reasons. Firstly, Tom Brady struggled, scoring just 10 points in his return to Foxborough. Next, Miles Sanders's nightmare season continued via a 5.5-point showing. Lastly, Mike Williams was a stunning no-show, scoring just 1.5 points. If any of these players had played like they did in the last three weeks, Bellwind could be sitting at 4-0. Positively, Deebo Samuel, DK Metcalf, and Derrick Henry all performed above expectations. Samuel appears to be one of the breakout players of 2021, as he has scored over 25 points on two occasions. Ultimately, while it was an unlucky loss, Bellwind looks to be a playoff lock.

Alvin Lockhart Division
The Jared Goff Lion Experience 4-0
iPump Plastic 3-1
Detroit Phantoms 1-3
Odd Year Magic 1-3
Team Griffith 1-3

Gilgamesh Star Division
Bellwind High Football Club 3-1
Los Angeles Aodgers 3-1
Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad 2-2
Atomic Pickles 2-2
Break the Walls Down 0-4

Power Rankings (Based on Total Points Scored):
1. Bellwind High Football Club (539.5)
2. Detroit Phantoms (521.5)
3. The Jared Goff Lion Experience (492)
4. iPump Plastic (478.5)
5. Odd Year Magic (467.5)
6. Los Angeles Aodgers (467)
7. Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (450)
8. Atomic Pickles (439.5)
9. Team Griffith (426)
10. Break the Walls Down (396.5)

Best of luck in Week 5!

MLBPPWORLD FANTASY WEEK 5 RECAP

Team Griffith (jag123jag) 140
Odd Year Magic (GoTwins24) 136.5

Summary:
After starting 0-3. Team Griffith now appears to be on the path back to playoff contention. This week, they showcased their running-backs, as every running-back on the roster excelled. Three of them, Alvin Kamara, Alexander Mattison, and Jonathan Taylor, scored over 20 points. Alexander Mattison was an excellent early-season stash, as Dalvin Cook is once again experiencing injury concerns. Mattison proved he is a starting-quality back in the league with this performance. Additionally, Jonathan Taylor's performance was pivotal in surviving Lamar Jackson's onslaught. If Taylor scored just one less touchdown, Team Griffith would have lost, but JT steered them to a win. Their wide receivers were the opposite story, as AJ Green and DJ Moore combined for just 8 points. Because of this, they may look to leverage some RB depth in another trade, especially since they also stashed Darrel Williams- who is now going to be Kansas City's lead-back. They have a tough matchup next week, which is made more difficult due to several bye weeks on the team, so they will need to have great performances from almost everyone to get to 3-3. Odd Year Magic has not lived up to its name this year. They have now suffered two crushing losses on Monday nights- last time they scored over 140, this time they scored 136.5. Lamar Jackson has carried this team thus far, as their performance is almost directly tied to Jackson's play. When Baltimore's QB has played well, they've scored over 100. When he's scored around 15-18, they've failed to score over 100. The story of the season for them has been the lack of volume- with Keenan Allen, CeeDee Lamb, Nick Chubb, and Aaron Jones fighting for volume with capable backups. Tight-end has also been a problem that is now exacerbated by Logan Thomas's injury, and there are few solutions available. They stand at 1-4, which likely eliminates them from playoff contention unless they can go on a winning stretch immediately.

Break the Walls Down (PhilliesFan134) 139.5
Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115) 144.5

Summary:
It was a battle of two unlucky teams so far this season, and the Phantoms came out on top. A lot of teams with Ezekiel Elliot on their roster panicked early and traded him away, but the Phantoms kept faith in him. They've been rewarded these last few weeks, as Elliot has scored over 20 in each of the last three weeks. They also had faith in Mike Evans, who they acquired in a trade with the Jared Goff Lion Experience, and this paid off with his 26-point game. Emmanuel Sanders has been a solid pick-up for them, and he was their darkhorse player of the game this week. Had he scored under 10 like last week, they would have lost, but he ran all over KC's defense to score nearly 20. Their most impressive roster spot is at WR, where Tyreek Hill and Justin Jefferson have been as good as advertised. Tyreek Hill underwhelmed this week, but he did just enough to win the game. Impressively, the team managed Chris Carson's injury the best they could, and the strategy of starting two RBs from the same team paid off. At 2-3, the Phantoms look poised to return to .500 and a playoff spot could be theirs in the near future. Break the Walls Down fell to 0-5, but they can be expected to win a few games in the near future. They've made some impressive waiver pickups- specifically Damien Williams and Chuba Hubbard- that have solidified their flex position. Losing Christian McCaffrey was always going to be tough, but they could have won without him had they faced a different opponent. Josh Allen returned to MVP form with a 35-point showing. All they need now is for their namesake, Darren Waller, to perform up to his usual 15+ point potential, and they can at least challenge some teams. An 0-5 start will be near impossible to overcome, but they could still have some interesting things to follow.

The Jared Goff Lion Experience (Dishnet34) 154
iPump Plastic (iPumpPlastic) 57

Summary:
The main story of the 2021 season is now: when, if ever, will the Jared Goff Lion Experience be stopped? So far, that hasn't happened, and they are 5-0. They got there even with Mahomes and Kelce struggling by their standards, although they were okay with 32 points combined. One family- cousins Marquise and Antonio Brown- carried them this week, and would have almost won the game without any other players in the lineup. If Marquise Brown continues to receive this target share, he could be another Dishnet34 steal, akin to Justin Jefferson last season. Their RB position looked to be a concern after the draft, but Leonard Fournette and Josh Jacobs have received enough volume to be effective. They combined for 31 points this week, which was more than enough to win. The team benefitted from matchup luck technically, but they would have beaten every other team except for one, so the 57 points in their points allowed will be a misleading stat. Right now, their Week 7 matchup against Bellwind High could be one of the most exciting match-ups in league history. It was a shockingly poor performance from iPump Plastic, who came into the matchup at 3-1. Only one position player, Matthew Stafford, scored over 10, but it was a poor showing still. Stafford scored 16, which was below his previous standard. Running-back looked to be one of the team's strengths after the draft, but that position group really struggled this week. Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Chase Edmonds combined for just 4 points, and Edwards-Helaire suffered a significant injury that will probably sideline him for a month or more. Joe Mixon was the highest scoring RB, but he was limited due to injury and scored under 10. WR was a tough position too, as Tyler Lockett and Adam Thielen have both regressed from their strong starts. The pair combined for only over 12, and Tyler Lockett's upside may now be capped with Russell Wilson's injury. Courtland Sutton is available on the bench to play at flex, and he looked good this week with over 20. Regardless, iPump Plastic will need to quickly return to form to stay competitive in a packed playoff race.

Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 130
Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (Queso James) 90

Summary:
After a slow start, it appears the Pickles will be in the running for a playoff spot once again. Davante Adams propelled them to a huge win with a 31.5 point game- his best of the season yet. Rookie Ja'Marr Chase was also stellar on the opposite side of the same game, scoring 24.5 points including an incredible touchdown catch. Antonio Gibson had been used concerningly up to this point, but he finally broke out to score 20 points. Rookie Michael Carter's usage also looks quite promising, and the Jets RB scored 12.5 despite the team trailing for most of the game. Dak Prescott was solid yet again, scoring 20, and although Dallas is now a run-focused offense, Prescott has been efficient enough to still be a solid fantasy option. The only poor performances came from Terry McLaurin and Noah Fant. Scary Terry's showing was most surprising because he entered after a 27-point game the week before, and Washington trailed for most of the game. Noah Fant was also surprising, and his target share has decreased a bit. Even still, the Pickles won in more than comfortable fashion, and now occupy the league's 4th playoff spot. The Cig Squad fell to 2-3, and were hurt the most by another Saquon Barkley injury. Barkley was expected to score 20 points, but his immediate injury ruined what could've been a 110-115 point sort of performance. Despite this, their other RBs looked good, as Najee Harris and James Robinson each scored over 20 points. Their season could ultimately rely on AJ Brown. If Brown does not return to 2019/20 form, they could have capped upside going forward. Amari Cooper's health is also something to follow, but he is also in a loaded offense with many mouths to feed, so his volume could be capped as well. Right now, the main thing they need is positive injury news on the Barkley front, and they can go forward from there.

Bellwind High Football Club (MUFFINZ) 187
Los Angeles Aodgers (Kungfupandacam) 139

Summary:
Bellwind High set the league record for most points in a single game! And even further, they could have hit the seemingly impossible 200-point mark had they started Mark Andrews, but they can hardly be upset about that. Their lowest scorer was Miles Sanders, and he was the only non-kicker to score under 10 points. Tom Brady has been incredible at 44, and he nearly matched his age in points this week. Derrick Henry was also dominant, and he looks like he will have a good chance to win his third-straight MLBPPWORLD title- an incredible feat. Mike Williams is one of many Bellwind players who could claim to be the steal of the season. Williams was drafted 99th, but he is now a top-10 receiver and arguably Herbert's new #1 target. The team also easily afforded benching DK Metcalf and Darrell Henderson. In fact, their 112 points from the bench could have beaten a few teams in the league this week. As of right now, this team looks unstoppable, and will easily cruise to a playoff appearance. Los Angeles had horrible matchup luck, and they probably should have deserved to keep their playoff spot. Instead, they fell to 3-2. Justin Herbert was their standout, delivering a 42-point outing in his potential MVP campaign. Following Herbert, Austin Ekeler was also great, and Los Angeles will benefit from the other LA team's offensive explosion. Despite these showings, there were several disappointments. Mainly, the WR pairing of Stefon Diggs and Calvin Ridley would have been world-beating in 2020, but they have been massive let-downs so far this year. Another WR disappointment has been Allen Robinson, who has been excellent with QBs like Mitchell Trubisky and Blake Bortles in the past. He has really struggled with Justin Fields and Andy Dalton, as he is not getting many vertical-passing opportunities. They will need this core to step up, or else they will have limited upside this year.

Standings:

MLBPPWORLD FANTASY WEEK 6 RECAP

Odd Year Magic (GoTwins24) 132.5
Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 126

Summary:
Odd Year Magic avoided a catastrophic 1-5 start by 6.5 points this week. One play solidified this win: an overtime touchdown pass from Dak Prescott to CeeDee Lamb. Without it, the Pickles would have won thanks to Prescott. Instead, CeeDee finished with 30.5 points, by far the best of his season. Diontae Johnson clinched the win for Odd Year Magic via a 13.5-point performance. Johnson's floor seems to be around 10-13 points, which is solid, and he also appears to be Ben Roethlisberger's primary target beside Najee Harris. Ultimately though, non-position players may have won the game for them- as Indianapolis' defense and Matt Prater combined for 27 points. There were some disappointments- mainly Lamar Jackson and Devonta Smith. With the team facing multiple byes in Week 7, they will need both of these players to step up in a big way. The Pickles fell to 3-3 mostly due to the Washington Football Team. Both Antonio Gibson and Terry McLaurin failed to impress despite a favorable matchup. The pair were clearly dealing with injuries, and combined for just 7 points. Davante Adams was also a letdown, as he scored just 10. Had he stayed in-bounds in a big reception in the fourth, though, the Pickles would have won this week. There were many bright spots aside from these players, however. Dak Prescott was excellent, scoring 26 points, although he suffered an injury late in the game. Fortunately, he is not expected to miss any time, and if the Cowboys continue to throw, Prescott will be in a great situation. Khalil Herbert was the waiver pickup of the week, scoring 17 points in an outstanding performance. Although David Montgomery may return in a few weeks, Herbert may challenge him for touches. Noah Fant was also superb, nearly finishing with 20. A 20-point game from a tight-end this year certainly exceeds expectations, and the Pickles could really benefit from a Fant breakout. Despite the loss, the Pickles are not in a dire spot at all.

Team Griffith (jag123jg) 129.5
Bellwind High Football Club (MUFFINZ) 127.5

Summary:
Team Griffith improved to 3-3 in what was the game of the week. They had a cushion heading into Monday night, but Derrick Henry nearly single-handedly erased a 30+ point deficit. They can thank Jonathan Taylor the most, as he has neared 30 points in each of the past two weeks. Darrel Williams was also the early season stash of the week, as he is now approaching RB1 territory with a significant workload. Aaron Rodgers was also as dependable as usual, scoring 22 points. The biggest surprise, though, may have been AJ Green. Green was inefficient last week but stepped up to score 15.5 this week. He was good enough to outscore Julio Jones, who was overshadowed by AJ Brown. Team Griffith's win was crucial given their tough opponent, as well as the numerous bye weeks they encountered. Alvin Kamara, Cordarelle Patterson, and Elijah Mitchell each did not play this week, but the team found a way to win. They now face the Atomic Pickles in a matchup of 3-3 teams. Bellwind lost their second game of the season, mostly because of Dawson Knox's injury. Had Knox not broken his hand, they probably would have scored at least 3 more points, which would have been sufficient to win. Mike Williams also had injury woes, and was clearly limited in LA's horrific showing on offense. Despite this, there are signs that positive regression is coming for Bellwind for their pivotal matchup against the top-seeded Jared Goff Lion Experience. Derrick Henry and Darrell Henderson combined for over 50 points, and even Miles Sanders looks like he will return to his normal role in Philadelphia's offense. If Dawson Knox misses any time, they can replace him easily with Mark Andrews. This roster is loaded top-to-bottom, and will continue to be a threat to score 150+.

The Jared Goff Lion Experience (Dishnet34) 151.5
Los Angeles Aodgers (Kungfupandacam) 84.5

Summary:
The Jared Goff Lion Experience improved to a league-best 6-0 with a near-70 point victory. They set the tone early on Thursday night, as Leonard Fournette and Antonio Brown combined for nearly 50 points, which buried Los Angeles in a hole they could not dig themselves out of. Cooper Kupp has been one of the steals of the season, and he continued to dominate by scoring just about 30 points. Astonishingly, The Jared Goff Lion Experience is 6-0 despite substandard play from Travis Kelce, as well as turnover issues from Patrick Mahomes. Kelce has yet to score over 15 since Week 2, although he still carries a high floor. The Lion Experience has a knack for finding steals in the draft, which was seen last year when they drafted Aaron Rodgers, DK Metcalf, and Justin Jefferson at incredible values. This year, Cooper Kupp, Marquise Brown, and Leonard Fournette could prove to be similar steals. If they prevail over Bellwind, their streak is going to continue for a long time. Los Angeles' fate seems to be tied to the other LA team- the Chargers. When the Chargers play well, they play well. When LA struggles, they struggle. Since Justin Herbert and Austin Ekeler combined for just 16, they never really had a chance to win. There were some positive signs, as Stefon Diggs caught his second touchdown of the year and finished with just about 20 points. The Jaylen Waddle breakout game occurred on the bench, but he should be a solid flex or WR2 going forward. D'Andre Swift also managed to score around 15 despite Detroit's terrible game against the Bengals, which suggests he carries a solid floor. Next week, many of their players- like Herbert, Ekeler, and Diggs, will be on bye. They will probably need to rely on Sterling Shepard and Calvin Ridley, as well as a waiver QB, to help them see out a tough week for byes.

Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115) 125.5
Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (Queso James) 107

Summary:
As they put it, it was "finally a stress-free win" for the Phantoms, who became the latest team to return to .500. Kyler Murray returned to the 20+ point level this week, putting up 25. Murray had not scored that many since Week 2, and if he continues to put up this production, the Phantoms will have a solid baseline. They also have a strong asset backing him up in Jalen Hurts, as Hurts scored nearly as many as Murray despite playing worse. Aside from Murray, no one was really spectacular aside from Tyreek Hill, who scored 17.5. LA's defense was also outstanding, benefitting from poor play from Daniel Jones. Some key players struggled, however, mainly Justin Jefferson and Mike Evans. Jefferson did score in double-figures, but this was in spite of a shootout game from his offense. Evans, after nearly dropping 30 last week, scored just 3 this time. The main concern, though, is what the team will do next week- as they do not have a running-back who will play. Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliot are on bye, and Chris Carson was placed on injured reserve. They will need to find fill-ins on waivers, although Los Angeles will also be scrambling for bye replacements. The Cig Squad fell to 2-4, and the biggest concern for them right now is QB play. Ryan Tannehill was expected to be at least a top-10 QB, but he has struggled to put up those numbers. Although, he did start to target AJ Brown more often, which would benefit the Cig Squad in multiple ways if sustained. They do not need to worry much about their RBs, as although Saquon is injured, Najee Harris and James Robinson are both receiving excellent volume. Their season could depend on two factors: Saquon Barkley's health, as well as whether either of their two receivers can play up to their standard.

iPump Plastic (iPumpPlastic) 137.5
Break the Walls Down (PhilliesFan134) 91.5

Summary:
iPump Plastic rebounded from their 57-point clunker in a big way. They scored nearly 80 more points this week, and they had many 20+ point performances to show for. Matthew Stafford led the team with 25 points, a nice recovery from a poor showing against Seattle. Their running-backs were excellent, save Chase Edmonds, as Dalvin Cook and Joe Mixon each scored over 20. Adam Thielen also returned to his early-season form by scoring 23.5. Zach Ertz was also a nice streaming pickup, as he scored 10 points in his final game in Philadelphia. Ertz will now suit up for Arizona, which should increase his target share quite a bit. The biggest concern could be at the WR2 spot, as Tyler Lockett will probably not come close to the same production without Russell Wilson throwing to him. Lockett is a deep threat, but Seattle's offense with Geno Smith is more of a short-field offense. Courtland Sutton could replace him at WR2, and Michael Thomas could potentially come back to out-perform Lockett. At 4-2, they now occupy the third playoff spot. Break the Walls Down fell to 0-6 and failed to reach the century mark. Josh Allen was stellar, scoring 28, but this performance was insufficient to make the game close. Kareem Hunt's injury will loom large, as Hunt seemed primed for a major workload, but left the game early and scored just 8.5. Similarly, Kadarius Toney looked primed for another breakout week, but left the game with an ankle injury that may sideline him for a few weeks. Mainly, Darren Waller must step up if they are going to go on a late-season run and potentially spoil some seasons. Waller scored under 10, which is quite surprising after his great start to the season. Next week, they face an Odd Year Magic team that will be without its 3 starting WRs, so it may be Break the Walls Down's best chance to get their first win.

Standings:
Alvin Lockhart Division
The Jared Goff Lion Experience 6-0
iPump Plastic 4-2

MLBPPWORLD FANTASY WEEK 7 Recap

Odd Year Magic (GoTwins24) 112.5
Break the Walls Down (PhilliesFan134) 98.5

Summary:
Odd Year Magic survived a tough bye-week situation thanks to their running backs, especially Damien Harris. Harris has now put together two consecutive strong weeks, and he scored 23 this time. In addition to Harris, Devontae Booker salvaged poor YPC numbers with a late touchdown and finished with 14 points. Actually, the three lower-ranked RBs each outscored Aaron Jones, which is a bit of a concern for the team going forward. Also, they made a strong streaming play, going with New England's defense over Carolina's. Had they decided to go with Carolina, the game would have been much closer than the final score turned out to be. At 3-4, the team will need to continue their winning streak to become legitimate playoff contenders. Break the Walls Down fell to 0-7, ending their hopes of a .500+ point season. They appeared to be in a good spot early, as D'Ernest Johnson was the streaming pick-up of the week. Johnson scored 23 points, which put his team in a strong spot. However, their injury luck worsened as Darren Waller was a late injury scratch. His replacement scored 15, so it can be assumed Waller would have scored a lot more than OJ Howard, his replacement. The main positive was Kyle Pitts' continued rise, as the rookie TE scored almost 20 points again this week. If Waller returns to full health, his increased target share will make the team's TE-pair the best in the league. At 0-7, though, the team will likely miss the postseason, so their goal is now to play spoiler.

Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 156.5
Team Griffith (jag123jg) 129.5

Summary:
It was an incredible week for the Atomic Pickles, who needed to play to their highest level to win this week. They did just that. Ja'Marr Chase looks primed to win Rookie of the Year, and he scored a remarkable 30 points this week. In fact, all Pickles receivers shined after a down week in Week 6. Terry McLaurin and Davante Adams each scored over 15. If this trio continues its tear, the Pickles will be borderline unstoppable. Although, Davante Adams will be out for Week 8, but they do have several options they can turn to on the bench. Additionally, Khalil Herbert appears to be one of the waiver pickups of the season, and it will be interesting to see how the Pickles manage both him and David Montgomery. They may have been disappointed to not have been able to acquire Damien Williams, but Herbert turned out to be the better signing anyway. Right now, Antonio Gibson is the only player holding them back. If he heats up, the Pickles will have a strong chance at the postseason. Team Griffith fell to 3-4, but it was because of poor matchup luck. They would have beaten several other teams had they played them this week. Alvin Kamara, who Team Griffith normally describes as a receiver, scored 28 points while being primarily deployed in the passing game. Jonathan Taylor was not as good as Kamara, but he till finished with a respectable 15.5 points. Aaron Rodgers also continued his strong run in fantasy with a 23-point outing. The team was held back, however, by its receiving core. DJ Moore and AJ Green combined for just over 20 points- which stood in stark contrast to the Pickles' performance. Julio Jones has been a letdown for Team Griffith for the second consecutive year, which has put the receiving core in flux. DJ Moore is also a bit of concern now, as Sam Darnold has struggled since his early-season resurgence. For now, the team will rely on a strong RB core and hope to return to .500.

Bellwind High Football Club (MUFFINZ) 137
The Jared Goff Lion Experience (Dishnet34) 124

Summary:
Bellwind improved to 5-2 in the game of the week, and what could turn out to be the championship matchup. They clinched the win via a dramatic 83-yard touchdown from DK Metcalf. Despite this touchdown, though, Metcalf finished with just 16, so his usage could be a concern going forward. If so, Deebo Samuel, Chris Godwin, Mike Williams, and DeAndre Hopkins will be more than enough to cover any drop from Metcalf. Godwin has been a bit inconsistent this season, but he was strong this week, scoring 21. Hopkins and Samuel were also excellent, each hovering around the 15-point mark. Because of strong WR play, the team overcame average play from Darrell Henderson and Derrick Henry. Henry still scored 14, and it is wild that this total appears below average for him. This game was an example of the team's immense depth, as they can overcome poor showings to win tough matchups. The Jared Goff Lion Experience lost their first game of the season, and they have the Chiefs to blame. Mahomes and Kelce combined for just 16.5 points, which is way below the expectations they had coming into the season. Even still, the team would have won against many other teams this week, which like Bellwind, attests to their depth. They made the pick of the draft with Cooper Kupp, who recorded his second 30+ point game, and fourth 25+ point game. It is hard to recall a season that was any better so far. Leonard Fournette was also a steal, as he completely replaced Ronald Jones as Tampa's feature back. Fournette dropped 15 this week. Another steal has been Marquise Brown, who put up 16.5 points this week. Brown could have had an even better start to the season without drop issues, which is incredible to think about. Antonio Brown's injury was a tough loss, but there does not seem to be any lingering concern with it- a good sign for the Lion Experience. The team's schedule will tighten- but they have a large margin for error. Just one win will get them to .500+.

Los Angeles Aodgers (Kungfupandacam) 114.5
Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115) 107.5

Summary:
Los Angeles improved to 4-3 in dramatic fashion. With just five minutes left in Sunday Night's game, they trailed by six. Enter Michael Pittman, Jr. Pittman caught a touchdown pass from Carson Wentz, which was all Los Angeles needed to win. It was an especially impressive win considering the team was missing several key players- mainly Stefon Diggs, Austin Ekeler, and Justin Herbert. Filling in for them, D'Andre Swift continued his impressive fantasy season with a 23-point game. Additionally, Devonta Freeman was a crucial waiver pickup. Had Los Angeles chosen someone else, they may have lost this one. Their biggest concerns right now are at the flex position, as Calvin Ridley and Allen Robinson have both struggled compared to expectations, Robinson especially. Myles Gaskin could be the answer to their flex woes, as Gaskin scored 15 this week. His backup, Malcolm Brown, will also miss time due to injury, which will give Gaskin potentially a greater workload. At 4-3, Los Angeles sits just outside the fourth playoff spot, which they will be in a fight to reclaim. The Phantoms fell victim to the bye-pocalypse, as Ezekiel Elliot, Tony Pollard, Justin Jefferson, Emmanuel Sanders, and Chase Claypool all did not play this week. They had to fill in for them as best they could, which they tried to do with Rhamondre Stevenson. Unfortunately for them, Stevenson was a shock inactive, and had he played, he probably would have scored a garbage-time touchdown at the very least. Sony Michel was his replacement, and he failed to score a single point. Despite this, Mike Evans almost single-handedly kept the game close with a 28-point performance. Kyler Murray was also excellent with 21 points. The final disappointment was Tyreek Hill, as he only scored 8 points. Aside from his 41-point outing, Hill has underwhelmed in 2021, and the Phantoms will need him to get going, especially against Bellwind in a crucial Week 8 game.

Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (Queso James) 81.5
iPump Plastic (iPumpPlastic) 100.5

Summary:
It was a monumental week for iPump Plastic, who enjoyed both an engagement and a fifth fantasy victory this weekend. Leading the way was Matthew Stafford, who scored 27. Stafford struggled two weeks ago, but it is clear that can be attributed to playing on a short week. Aside from Stafford, only one player was solid- Mike Gesicki. Gesicki scored 17.5 points and has emerged as a clear go-to tight end in recent weeks. Outside of Stafford and Gesicki, the rest of the team struggled. Dalvin Cook's absence hurt, and Joe Mixon also underwhelmed by scoring just 11 points. Their biggest concern, though, is probably Tyler Lockett. Since Geno Smith does not throw deep routes, Lockett's effectiveness took a major hit, and he will probably not perform well until Russell Wilson returns. They do have Adam Thielen and Michael Thomas available on the bench, so if MT returns healthy, they can afford to bench Lockett if they choose to do so. Still, at 5-2, they occupy the third playoff spot and are in good shape. The Cig Squad lost their fifth straight game, mostly due to bye weeks. They were missing Najee Harris, James Robinson, and Amari Cooper, each of whom could have drastically shifted the course of the game. The most positive sign was AJ Brown's resurgence, which many in the fantasy community have predicted to be on the way for weeks now. This has also bolstered Ryan Tannehill, who appears to slowly be returning to top-10 QB status. Ultimately though, the injury to Saquon Barkley has been killer, as his replacement flex option Devante Parker has been brutal. Parker has failed to score in each of the last two weeks due to injury. Brandin Cooks also struggled, scoring just 4.5 points. At 2-5, the Cig Squad will need to stack some victories to have a chance.

Standings:
Alvin Lockhart Division
The Jared Goff Lion Experience 6-1
iPump Plastic 5-2
Detroit Phantoms 3-4
Odd Year Magic 3-4
Team Griffith 3-4

Gilgamesh Star Division
Bellwind High Football Club 5-2
Atomic Pickels 4-3
Los Angeles Aodgers 4-3
Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad 2-5
Break the Walls Down 0-7

Power Rankings (Based on Total Points Scored):
1. Bellwind High Football Club (991)
2. The Jared Goff Lion Experience (921.5)
3. Detroit Phantoms (899)
4. Atomic Pickles (852)
5. Odd Year Magic (849)
6. Team Griffith (825)
7. Los Angeles Aodgers (805)
8. iPump Plastic (773.5)
9. Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (728.5)
10. Break the Walls Down (725)

Best of luck in Week 8!

MLBPPWORLD FANTASY WEEK 8 RECAP:

Odd Year Magic (GoTwins24) 102.5
Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (Queso James) 131.5

Summary:
The defending champion snapped their five-game losing streak in a big way, scoring the second-highest point total this week. Every player in their lineup was on point, as almost all scored in double figures. James Robinson and Marvin Jones were the only position players who did not score over 10, but Robinson left the game with an injury. Had Robinson remained healthy, the team would have likely scored over 140. Most importantly, AJ Brown has woken up from a slow start, as he led the way with 26 points. Obviously, his resurgence benefits the Cig Squad's QB- Ryan Tannehill- who scored 20 points as well this week. Another positive sign is the dominance of Najee Harris, who appears to be a top-5 fantasy RB for the rest of the season. The rookie scored 18.5 points this week, and his floor is extremely high. The team also would have benefitted from starting Amari Cooper, who played really well in spite of Dak Prescott's injury. Even Devante Parker, who returned from injury, looked promising. Ultimately, the Cig Squad could make a run to the postseason, which would be even easier if Saquon Barkley returns healthy. Odd Year Magic fell to 3-5 in yet another underwhelming showing. Mainly, they were hurt by Lamar Jackson's absence. Kirk Cousins looked terrible against Dallas and only scored 12 points. Had Jackson not been on bye, the scoreline would have been closer, although the Cig Squad would have still won. Their biggest disappointment was undoubtedly Nick Chubb, who scored 6.5 points in his return from injury. Chubb is a pivotal piece for Odd Year Magic, and they will need Cleveland's offense to move the ball more for Chubb to succeed. They were hurt most by their streaming plays and non-skill players, as Hunter Henry, Matt Prater, and Cincinnati's defense all scored under 5 points, which doomed them to hover around the 100-point threshold. They now face a pivotal three-game stretch that can make or break their season.

The Jared Goff Lion Experience (Dishnet34) 70.5
Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 58.5

Summary:
The Jared Goff Lion Experience won in the lowest-scoring game of the week, thanks almost entirely to Cooper Kupp. Once again, Kupp put up stellar numbers in the Rams' blowout victory over the Texans. Melvin Gordon was also essential, scoring 16.5 points in a bit of a bounceback game. Aside from these two players, everyone else disappointed, especially Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. The Kansas City tandem combined for just 16 points, which is well below their expected output. The team also received goose eggs from Robby Anderson and Rob Gronkowski, the latter of whom left the game due to injury, a concerning sign. Still, The Lion Experience clinched an above .500 season and is a near-lock for the postseason. This showing will probably be an anomaly, because Marquise Brown, Justin Tucker, and Josh Jacobs were all on bye. With these players returning, the Lion Experience should still be a formidable opponent every week. The Atomic Pickles were stunned as they put forth the second-lowest scoring game of 2021. Immediately, they were put in a tough spot when Davante Adams was ruled out for the game. After this, they were dealt another tough blow when Dak Prescott was ruled out with an injury. These injuries were also in addition to David Montgomery's, so the Pickles were riddled with injuries all week. Even Antonio Gibson is obviously not 100%, or even anywhere close to it, and he scored just 6.5 points this week. The entire Washington offense hurt the Pickles, as Terry McLaurin scored 4.5 points- even less than Gibson. With their two most important players on the same team, they will need that offense to look more proficient in order to have more consistent scoring outputs. Actually, the entire Denver-Washington game was a disaster for the Pickles, since Noah Fant and Javonte Williams combined for just 6 points. With this, not even Ja'Marr Chase could save the team from defeat, which was disappointing given their easy matchup. The Pickles will look to rebound in the next few weeks, and any potential rebound may depend on their team's health.

Bellwind High Football Club (MUFFINZ) 144.5
Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115) 105

Summary:
Bellwind High Football Club has lost Derrick Henry for likely the entire 2021 season. In spite of this, Bellwind High Football Club is still going to be the title favorite. Even though Henry scored 6.5 points, Bellwind still would have beaten every team this week. It is difficult to recall any team in this league's history with a more loaded roster. To offset Henry's injury-caused struggles, four players: Deebo Samuel, Chris Godwin, Darrell Henderson, and Tom Brady scored over 20. DK Metcalf was also right behind them with 19. The only concerns for this team right now are a few receivers- mainly Deandre Hopkins and Mike Williams, who combined for just 7 points. Also, their RB situation is a bit more precarious, since right now their best healthy RB2 option would be Devin Singletary. They will probably need to add another RB on the wire to manage until Miles Sanders returns from his injury. Even still, this is the top team in the league right now, and it is hard to foresee anyone beating them in a 2-week matchup. The Phantoms fell to an unlucky 3-5 as they faced another rough matchup. They got off to a poor start Thursday Night as Kyler Murray scored just 8 points. Murray also suffered an injury late in the game, which was said to be a "1-3 week injury." But it is unclear whether Murray will actually miss any game time. If he does, the Phantoms will have to scramble to find a temporary replacement after trading Jalen Hurts. A positive sign was the emergence of Michael Carter, who scored 26.5 points in a breakout game. Carter may actually have benefitted from Zach Wilson's injury, as Mike White targeted him early and often. Another positive was Tyreek Hill's emergence, as Hill scored over 20 points with a substantial target share. Despite these positives, Justin Jefferson, Ezekiel Elliot, and Emmanuel Sanders all underwhelmed. The trio combined for just 12 points, with Sanders failing to score a single point somehow. This grouping will have to improve if the Phantoms are to make the postseason, and they face a difficult Week 8 with Mike Evans on a bye week.

iPump Plastic (iPumpPlastic) 127
Los Angeles Aodgers (Kungfupandacam) 100

Summary:
iPump Plastic improved to 6-2 and now holds a 2-game advantage on the league's third overall seed. Once again, Matthew Stafford was stellar, as he scored 24 in a takedown of the Texans. Stafford could legitimately make a claim for MVP this season, so iPump Plastic really benefitted from taking a flyer on him. Additionally, Adam Thielen, Joe Mixon, and Tyler Lockett were all stellar, as each scored over 15. Lockett was especially beneficial as he had struggled without Russell Wilson, but Geno Smith finally looked his way. He actually received over 10 targets, which is more than his average. Chase Edmonds has been a solid flex option in some weeks, and he continued that trend with a 13.5 point outing. Right now, the main concern for the team is to get Dalvin Cook going. If Cook scores more than 7-10 points weekly like he is currently, iPump Plastic will be even scarier. Another concern is returning to full health- as Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Michael Thomas, and Russell Wilson's returns from injury will make the roster better overall. Although, with Stafford's emergence, Russell Wilson could be an interesting trade piece to teams that are dealing with QB injuries, but iPump Plastic may still choose to hold him for when Stafford goes on bye. Los Angeles lost for a few reasons- mainly struggles from Justin Herbert and D'Andre Swift. Herbert and Swift combined for 16.5 when they usually combine for 30+, which made a big difference in this one. Stefon Diggs has also failed to meet his 2020 form, which has capped Los Angeles' upside a bit. Still, Michael Pittman's emergence has been major for them, as they can now rotate receivers around their lineup. However, they suffered a major blow with Calvin Ridley's absence, which will be tough to overcome. For right now, though, their biggest Week 9 worry is Swift's bye week. Without Swift, they will need to rely on Myles Gaskin, and Gaskin has been hit-or-miss all season. At 4-4, they are right in the thick of the playoff hunt, but they will need to stack a few wins first.

Break the Walls Down (PhilliesFan134) 120
Team Griffith (jag123jg) 108

Summary:
Break the Walls Down finally ended their winless streak with a convincing win over a solid team. Josh Allen's return was the main reason for their victory as Allen led the way with a 28-point outing. Also, their receiving core was a huge part of their win, Robert Woods especially. Woods scored 18.5 points, and his target share appears to be gradually increasing as the season progresses. Speaking of target share, Cole Beasley ate up targets en route to a 16-point game. Jakobi Meyers was also okay, but his notorious inability to find the end-zone has hand-cuffed him to more of a flex role than a WR2 role. They weren't without their letdowns, as Kyle Pitts scored just 2 points after two games where he dominated. Pitts will need to be more consistent if Break the Walls Down wants to stack more wins. Another disappointment was Kadarious Toney, who was again affected by injury. Toney scored just 4 points, but his potential is clearly there. He just needs to remain on the field. Going forward, Break the Walls Down may not have a playoff chance, but they can still play spoiler, and this week was a perfect example of that potential. Team Griffith fell to 3-5 after a substandard game. No one was horrible, per se, although Dalton Schultz scored just 2 points. The main issue was nobody scored over 20 points, which will always lead to trouble in this league. Actually, 5 position players scored in double-figures, but still none over 20. Jonathan Taylor came close, scoring 19.5, but it was still a lower output than recent weeks. Aaron Rodgers scored 15, which is also disappointing for his standards, but one cannot really blame him since he was missing his primary targets. Rodgers gets his targets back and an easier matchup against Kansas City next week, so he can be expected to be a strong play still. One concern may be the WR2 position, which has switched between Julio Jones and AJ Green all season. Neither of those players has been really impressive, and the waiver wire is quite thin at WR, so Team Griffith's best hope is that either of these veterans can recapture some of their old form. At 3-5, they have a crucial stretch of games coming up that will determine their fate.

Standings:
Alvin Lockhart Division
The Jared Goff Lion Experience 7-1
iPump Plastic 6-2
Detroit Phantoms 3-5
Odd Year Magic 3-5
Team Griffith 3-5

Gilgamesh Star Division
Bellwind High Football Club 6-2
Atomic Pickles 4-4
Los Angeles Aodgers 4-4
Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad 3-5
Break the Walls Down 1-7

Power Rankings (Based on Total Points Scored):
1. Bellwind High Football Club (1135.5)
2. Detroit Phantoms (1004)
3. The Jared Goff Lion Experience (992)
4. Odd Year Magic (951.5)
5. Team Griffith (933)

7. Los Angeles Aodgers (905)
8. iPump Plastic (900)
9. Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (860)

Best of luck in Week 9!

MLBPPWORLD FANTASY WEEK 9 RECAP

Team Griffith (jag123jg) 123
Odd Year Magic (GoTwins24) 123

Summary:
Team Griffith tied Odd Year Magic in the most dramatic game of the week, and arguably the wildest game of the 2021 season. It was a roaring start for Team Griffith as Jonathan Taylor continued his incredible season via a 32-point game. Carson Wentz was also a solid replacement for Aaron Rodgers, and he actually outscored Rodgers' Week 8 point total. Indy's defense was a letdown, but they did record a key late interception that would turn out to have significant fantasy implications. On Sunday, the team struggled a bit, and Cordarelle Patterson was the only Sunday position player to score in double figures. Yet, Matt Gay scored 12 points on Sunday night, and this point total proved to be pivotal. Team Griffith led by 2.5 points heading into Sunday Night's game, but Gay gave them a chance to survive by extending the lead to 14.5. This was just enough for a draw, but the result was disappointing for both sides, especially since Team Griffith got out to a big lead Thursday. Odd Year Magic blew what should have been their fourth win of the season. Heading into Monday's Bears-Steelers game, they needed just 15 points from Pittsburgh's defense and Diontae Johnson to win. The pair combined for 14.5, but they were lucky to have even gotten that many. Johnson did not receive his usual target share, and Pittsburgh's pass rush could not adequately pressure Justin Fields. Actually, Odd Year Magic still led by 2 points with 30 seconds left in the contest, but the Steelers could not convert a 3rd-and-short, and so they had to settle for a field goal with 30 seconds left. After this, the Bears surpassed the 400-yard mark, and Odd Year Magic settled for a draw. One decision doomed them- as they dropped Matt Prater for Greg Zuerlein after Kyler Murray was ruled out for Arizona. This one decision cost them 7 points, and thus the win. Now, Odd Year Magic is on the verge of playoff elimination.

Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 100.5
Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115) 70.5

Summary:
After a tough loss, the Atomic Pickles recovered to win comfortably. It was an okay team effort, but no player scored over 20 points. Pat Freiermuth was the leading scorer, and he looks to be one of the pickups of the season right now. There are not many that can compete for his targets, which will make him a high-upside TE going forward. Arizona's defense has also been excellent, and they scored 15 points against San Francisco. Jalen Hurts was okay, but he looked better as a passer. However, Philadelphia seems to be shifting to a more run-centered offense, which will still benefit the Pickles' RB Jordan Howard, but Hurts may be affected by the shift. The main concern for the Pickles right now is from Davante Adams and Ja'Marr Chase- as the duo once looked like the best in the league, but combined for just 12 points. For the Pickles to return to the playoffs, both of these receivers will need to step up their play. Hopefully for them, Rodgers will return and boost Adams' value. Terry McLaurin will also need to boost his value as he returns from bye next week. Washington's offense has struggled in 2021, but the Pickles severely need them to return to a 2020-like state. At 5-4, the Pickles have a major showdown with the Aodgers this week, but Ja'Marr Chase and David Montgomery's absences may put them in a precarious position for the game. The Phantoms had their worst week of the season, and their poor luck continued. Injuries and bye weeks devastated them, as had Kyler Murray, Mike Evans, and Chris Carson been available, they probably would have been in position to win. Their replacement QB, Tyrod Taylor, scored just 5 points and did not look as promising as he did earlier in the year. Their Evans replacement, Chase Claypool, underwhelmed by scoring just 5.5. Claypool also left with an injury, and that may be something for the Phantoms to keep an eye on. The biggest let-down came from Tyreek Hill, who scored just 5 points. Aside from his 41.5-point outburst, Hill has been a disappointment this season, but he is still capable of such an outburst at any time, so long as Kansas City's offense remembers how to play football. Justin Jefferson led the way with 14.5, but most of these points came on one play. Evans-Hill-and-Jefferson can be an elite WR trio, but they have been unable to live up to that billing thus far. At 3-6, the Phantoms may need to win out to make the postseason.

The Jared Goff Lion Experience (Dishnet34) 98
iPump Plastic (iPumpPlastic) 133

Summary:
iPump Plastic improved to 7-2 with a statement win and is now highly likely to make the postseason. By far, James Conner was the surprise of the day. Chase Edmonds was injured, which seemed to be a negative for the team, but Conner responded by scoring 36.5. With Edmonds injured, Conner carries RB1 potential so long as he stays healthy. With that, the team has three potential RB1s in Cook, Mixon, and Conner. Joe Mixon especially shined, scoring 24.5 points this week. Cleveland's defense was a strong play despite what seemed like a tough matchup, and they scored 21 points thanks to a 100-yard pick-6. These strong performances masked Matthew Stafford's poor game. One can only imagine how many they would have scored had Stafford played to his usual form. The team now has a decision to make- as Russell Wilson is returning from his hand injury. The team has a major playoff cushion, so they can afford to wait and see how Wilson does. Whatever the case, iPump Plastic is primed for a playoff appearance in their debut season. The Jared Goff Lion Experience has cooled off a bit since their surge in the beginning of the season. This is mostly due to Patrick Mahomes' woes. Mahomes scored just 10 points this week, which is way below what he used to score. Mahomes used to be guaranteed for 25-30 points every week, but that has not been the case so far this season. Actually, the team did not perform poorly overall, as four players hovered around the 15-point mark. Their biggest concern may be their depth, as their bench combined for just 4.5 points. They really need their Bucs trio of Brown, Fournette, and Gronkowski to return for the postseason, which would give them more of an edge. Still, at 7-2, their spot in the postseason seems to be all but clinched.

Break the Walls Down (PhilliesFan134) 80
Bellwind High Football Club (MUFFINZ) 73.5

Summary:
Break the Walls Down won their second consecutive game in the upset of the week. Finally, they benefitted from some matchup luck, as they would have been defeated by all but two teams. It was looking rough for them until Sunday night, when Robert Woods outscored Darrell Henderson by 6, which was more than enough to clinch the win. Christian McCaffrey returned to the lineup, and he scored 12.5 points. Normally, this would be disappointing for him, but he was limited and the offense was horrific, so 12.5 points were actually impressive. The biggest disappointment was Josh Allen, who somehow only scored 9 points. Allen should usually be good for 25-30 points, but he has been hit-or-miss like many players this season. Darren Waller has also underwhelmed given his draft position, and for Break the Walls Down to go on a late run, he will need to increase his output. Despite scoring only 80, two straight wins are still a welcome sign for a team that suffered from bad luck and poor performances early. Bellwind High Football Club has looked like the best team in the league at many points in 2021, but that did not continue this week. They made a blockbuster trade, acquiring Alvin Kamara, and that nearly won them this game. Kamara was the only player to score in double-digits, but he saw some of his touches vacated to Mark Ingram. Kamara may also be dealing with an injury, which is definitely an unwelcome sight for Bellwind. Injuries and bye weeks derailed them this week, as they scored zero points on their bench. Thankfully for them, none of these injuries seem to have long-term implications, and having Metcalf, Brady, and Godwin back in the lineup will help them position themselves for the postseason. This poor showing was likely just a one-off.

Los Angeles Aodgers (Kungfupandacam) 132.5
Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (Queso James) 80

Summary:
It was a statement win for Los Angeles- who now looks to be a good bet for the fourth postseason spot. Whenever Justin Herbert performs well, they perform well, and this was the case this week. Herbert scored 31 points, his highest point total since he scored 41 in Week 5. New England's defense was also remarkable with a 20-point showing. They will probably be more than just a streaming play this season, and they will see some favorable matchups in the future. The emergence of Michael Pittman has been a story for Los Angeles this season, and it has really solidified their WR core after losing Calvin Ridley. Also, Stefon Diggs has struggled to live up to the expectations he set in 2020, but Pittman has given him more of a cushion. Right now, if Austin Ekeler can find week-to-week consistency, Los Angeles will be a tough team to beat- especially with D'Andre Swift returning to the lineup in Week 10. Los Angeles now turns to a pivotal matchup with fellow 5-4 Atomic Pickles in Week 10. After a breakout win in Week 8, the Cig Squad fell down to earth. They forgot to bench James Robinson after his injury, which capped their week. Also, Ryan Tannehill and AJ Brown failed to repeat their near-50 combined points from Week 8. Instead, they combined for just 19, but this was due to an unfavorable game script. Even Najee Harris performed below his usual expectations as the Bears loaded the box to stop the run. Still, Harris was his usual consistent self. In fact, Harris has scored double digits in every week since the opening game. At 3-6, the Cig Squad will probably miss the postseason, but Saquon Barkley will probably return after his Week 10 bye, which may make things interesting. The Cig Squad will need to survive until then.

Standings:
Alvin Lockhart Division
The Jared Goff Lion Experience 7-2
iPump Plastic 7-2
Odd Year Magic 3-5-1
Team Griffith 3-5-1
Detroit Phantoms 3-6

Gilgamesh Star Division
Bellwind High Football Club 6-3
Los Angeles Aodgers 5-4
Atomic Pickles 5-4
Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad 3-6
Break the Walls Down 2-7

Power Rankings (Based on Total Points Scored):
1. Bellwind High Football Club (1211)
2. The Jared Goff Lion Experience (1090)
t.3. Odd Year Magic (1074.5)
t.3. Detroit Phantoms (1074.5)
5. Team Griffith (1056)
6. Los Angeles Aodgers (1037.5)
7. iPump Plastic (1033.5)
8. Atomic Pickles (1011)
9. Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (940)
10. Break the Walls Down (925.5)

Best of luck in Week 10!

MLBPPWORLD FANTASY WEEK 10 RECAP

Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115) 128
Odd Year Magic (GoTwins24) 122.5

Summary:
The Detroit Phantoms won a hard-fought victory- good enough for the most points of the week and to keep their postseason hopes alive. This week was a story of skill players, as all of them but Matt Ryan were exceptional. Rhamondre Stevenson was the most notable, as the waiver pickup exploded for 25 points in his breakout week. Fellow rookie Michael Carter has proven to be a key acquisition as well, and he scored 18 points. One of these was a key touchdown that made the difference in the game. Further, their WR trio of Tyreek Hill, Mike Evans, and Justin Jefferson won them this game. Justin Jefferson was especially impressive because he scored 18.5 points without a touchdown. Evans got off to a slow start but scored a key touchdown on a great route that proved to be the difference in this game. This game could have been a rout, but Matt Ryan and LA's defense combined for just 1 point. This is an even more optimistic sign for the Phantoms, as Kyler Murray should eventually make his return to the lineup. Had Murray been fully healthy this week, the Phantoms probably would have neared the 150 mark, and they now look dangerous for a potential playoff trip. Odd Year Magic fell to 3-6-1, once again falling to poor matchup luck. They would have beaten every other team in the league this week, but all that matters is the opponent one faces. A poor tone was set on Thursday- as Lamar Jackson and Devonta Freeman combined for just 20.5 points. Jackson also threw a key goal-line interception that ultimately determined the game. Without it, they could have pulled off a 0.5-point win. CeeDee Lamb and Devonta Smith did all they could to save the team, combining for 45 points, but this was not enough to overcome Baltimore's struggles. Another key moment was Aaron Jones's injury, as had Jones stayed healthy, he probably would have scored a goal-line touchdown that would have won the game. Fortunately for them, AJ Dillon is available on their bench, which means Jones's injury will likely not alter what their final record will turn out to be. Even still, they are a longshot for the playoffs, and their only recourse is to win out and receive plenty of outside help.

Bellwind High Football Club (MUFFINZ) 84
iPump Plastic (iPump Plastic) 62

Summary:
Bellwind improved to 7-3 in the ugliest win of the week, and although there are definitely major concerns for them going forward, a win is a win. After a torrid start, injuries have haunted Bellwind. Derrick Henry, Miles Sanders, and DeAndre Hopkins, and now Alvin Kamara have now missed significant time, which has drastically affected Bellwind's scoring outputs. Additionally, Tom Brady has cooled off a bit since his incredible start. This week, he only scored 12 points. It also affected Chris Godwin, who scored 8.5 points. So far, the most consistent option has been Mark Andrews, as he scored 15 points despite Baltimore's offensive disaster. Inconsistency from DK Metcalf and Mike Williams has also plagued the team, as the pair combined for just over 8 points, which is way below their early season level. Despite poor showings in the last two weeks, Bellwind could absolutely explode back to become the best team in the league again. To do this, however, they need many players to return to full health, as well as find consistency from players like Metcalf or Williams. iPump Plastic lost the battle of the newcomers in a surprisingly low-scoring game. They scored just 62.5 points, which was actually their second performance of the sort this season. They got off to a poor start Thursday, as Mike Gesicki failed to score a single point. Further, Cleveland's defense lost them six points. The disappointment did not end there, as Matthew Stafford had another rough week, translating to just 9 points. These games put them in a hole that would be nearly impossible to overcome, regardless of how their other players performed. Optimistically for them, though, Dalvin Cook scored 18.5 points, which was enough to be their scoring leader. Cook has also had horrid touchdown luck this season, so there is the potential for positive regression there. Additionally, Joe Mixon was on bye this week, and he is definitely a better option than Nyheim Hines. Going forward, they will have to debate between Russell Wilson and Matthew Stafford, which will be a tough choice that may be the difference in some weeks. Even still, the team is on the verge of a playoff appearance in their debut season.

Los Angeles Aodgers (Kungfupandacam) 105
Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 81.5

Summary:
Los Angeles continued their hot stretch with a statement victory. The win solidified their spot in fourth place, and they would make the playoffs if they started today. They won despite the Chargers' struggles, as Herbert and Ekeler were pedestrian. The team's fate is often tied with these two, and their struggles were why they only scored 105. However, Stefon Diggs made sure the team would win this week as he went off for 26 points. He looked much more like 2020 Stefon Diggs this time, which would be huge for his team going forward. D'Andre Swift was also solid, scoring 14.5 points, which was still impressive given his lack of a touchdown and Detroit's refusal to pass. New England's defense was pivotal, as they scored 14 points. With a good matchup this upcoming Thursday, New England's defense looks like they could be a top-5 defense going forward, which could be key for the team down the stretch. Overall, Ekeler and Herbert's inconsistency has hurt the team in a few weeks this year, but they did enough to overcome it this time. The Pickles dropped to 5-5 with a poor showing. This can be partially chalked up to bye weeks- as Ja'Marr Chase and David Montgomery were missing in action. Also, though, Antonio Gibson returned to his 2020-form, but he was on the bench. Gibson outscored Javonte Williams by 15, which would have made the game much closer. In addition, receiving play from their main options- Davante Adams and Terry McLaurin- limited their upside. Actually, Hunter Renfrow out-scored both of them by a few points. McLaurin's struggles are more concerning than Adams', as McLaurin has not been able to carve out a consistent role in Washington's offense- a similar story to Antonio Gibson. Although the loss hurts, the Pickles will be back to full strength next week, and Dak Prescott's full health definitely provides a reason for some optimism despite the rough loss.

The Jared Goff Lion Experience (Dishnet34) 119.5
Team Griffith (jag123jg) 119

Summary:
The Jared Goff Lion Experience won their impressive 8th game in an absolute thriller. On Monday, they fell into a hole after Deebo Samuel scored a late 40-yard touchdown, but Cooper Kupp was able to come to the rescue. Kupp finished with 17.5, which is actually impressive given how poor LA's offense truly was. However, the biggest reasons for their win were Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. The KC pairing silenced the doubters by combining for 51 fantasy points- nearly half of the Jared Goff Lion Experience's total. This is an absolutely encouraging sign for them heading into playoff time, as it will be hard to beat that kind of effort twice in a row. These showings masked some mediocre games- mainly from Josh Jacobs and Marquise Brown. Still, with a narrow victory, the Jared Goff Lion Experience is nearly guaranteed to make the postseason, and they have benefitted from some excellent value draft picks. Team Griffith trailed by a bit of a wide margin coming in, but they nearly pulled off a Monday Night Miracle. Deebo Samuel led the way, as the new acquisition scored 26.5 points. Elijah Mitchell was also great, although he somehow only scored less than 10 despite accumulating many touches. Had Mitchell been more involved in the passing game, it may have been enough to win the team the game. Jonathan Taylor nearly carried them to another win with 21 points. The main reason he could not, however, was the injury to Cordarelle Patterson. Patterson scored just 3.5 points and may miss some time, which will have to be monitored by Team Griffith going forward. Luckily for them, they can slide either Elijah Mitchell or Darrel Williams into Patterson's slot. Williams was great, scoring 24.5 points, although his future value may be in question with Clyde Edwards-Helaire soon to return. Team Griffith has been involved in many thrillers this season, but they have had horrible luck, which has put them on the brink of an unfortunate elimination.

Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (Queso James) 104
Break the Walls Down (PhilliesFan134) 94

Summary:
The defending champion, after a five-game losing streak, may have re-entered the playoff picture. They won this week with these notable players on bye: Tee Higgins, Brandin Cooks, Kenny Golladay (depending on injury), and Saquon Barkley. If each of these players returns to the lineup in the next couple of weeks, the Cig Squad will be a team to keep an eye on. This time, plug-and-play Mark Ingram decided the week, as his 18 points were enough to make the difference in this one. Najee Harris and James Robinson were their usual selves, each hovering around the 15-point mark. It would have been an even bigger victory, but AJ Brown and Amari Cooper failed to live up to recent form, and Brown was especially shocking. Also, TJ Hockenson scored no points, which would have been killer in many weeks. Of these three, the biggest concern has to be with Hockenson due to a non-existent passing game, while the least concern has to be with AJ Brown. Next week's game against Bellwind may determine the course of their season. A loss would eliminate them in all likelihood, but a win would make things especially interesting. Break the Walls Down lost after a nice two-game winning streak. Still, the team could play spoiler down the stretch, as Christian McCaffrey and Josh Allen each scored 20 points. With Cam Newton back in Carolina, McCaffrey will face less defensive attention in the ground game, and if he stays healthy, he could finish as an RB1 in many weeks. Also, they should have Kareem Hunt back in the lineup within the next few weeks, which will finally provide a much-needed solution at RB2. Lastly, to play spoiler, they will need both of their TEs to find some consistency. As of right now, Darren Waller and Kyle Pitts have been too inconsistent to trust on a week-to-week basis. Now, Break the Walls Down will focus on finishing their season off strong, which is still possible.

Standings:
Alvin Lockhart Division
Kerryon My Wayward Son 8-2
iPump Plastic 7-3
Detroit Phantoms 4-6
Odd Year Magic 3-6-1
Team Griffith 3-6-1

Gilgamesh Star Divsion
Bellwind High Football Club 7-3
Los Angeles Aodgers 6-4
Atomic Pickles 5-5
Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad 4-6
Break the Walls Down 2-8

Power Rankings (Based on Total Points Scored):
1. Bellwind High Football Club (1295)
2. The Jared Goff Lion Experience (1209.5)
3. Detroit Phantoms (1202.5)
4. Odd Year Magic (1197)
5. Team Griffith (1175)
6. Los Angeles Aodgers (1142.5)
7. iPump Plastic (1096)
8. Atomic Pickles (1092.5)
9. Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (1044.5)
10. Break the Walls Down (1019.5)

Best of luck in Week 11!

MLBPPWORLD FANTASY WEEK 11 RECAP

Los Angeles Aodgers (Kungfupandacam) 185.5
Odd Year Magic (GoTwins24) 98

Summary:
It was a statement win and then some for Los Angeles, who put forth the second-highest scoring week of the season so far this season. They basically won the game Thursday night, as New England's defense dominated to score 26 points, a season-high for defenses. A story to watch will be whether the defense can become set-and-forget, which would be a key positional advantage for Los Angeles. The momentum rolled into Sunday as the game was never really in doubt. Myles Gaskin and Jaylen Waddle each took advantage of a favorable matchup against the Jets, as each scored over 15. D'Andre Swift was great once again, scoring over 20. However, the real explosion came on Sunday night, as Justin Herbert and Austin Ekeler combined for 72 points. This was huge for tiebreaking purposes, as Los Angeles shot up in the power rankings thanks to this outburst. Also, it was quite a reason for optimism, as the team's performance is tied to the Chargers' duo's. If the Chargers have figured things out offensively, Los Angeles will be a dangerous out in December. Odd Year Magic has been officially eliminated from the postseason- the first time this has happened in consecutive seasons. They have not benefitted from an easy schedule, granted, but their team has not performed when it matters. When Lamar Jackson was ruled out due to a lingering illness, the team never really had a chance. Also, Justin Fields and CeeDee Lamb left their respective games due to injury as well, joining the injured Aaron Jones. It all seems to be unraveling for the team, who once sat at 3-4 with a decent spot in the power rankings. Diontae Johnson, Nick Chubb, and Keenan Allen have each been great on several occasions, but this has not been enough to save Odd Year Magic's season. Now, they will look toward 2022 and will have to retire their name.

iPump Plastic (iPumpPlastic) 149.5
Team Griffith (jag123jg) 141.5

Summary:
iPump Plastic needed a total team effort to survive Jonathan Taylor's incredible performance, and they got just that. They were anchored by breakout rookie Elijah Moore, as he scored 25 points. Moore has been the WR1 on the year since Week 8, which has been pivotal for iPump Plastic's stretch run. Following Moore was Joe Mixon, who has had an excellent bounceback season to this point. Mixon scored 24 in a strong effort. Following Mixon, it was a story of runningbacks for iPump Plastic in this one. Dalvin Cook and James Conner combined for 37 points, which was enough to cover for Taylor's insane performance. James Conner has been one of the best value picks of the season, and he always carries the potential to punch in touchdowns. iPump Plastic would have won by even more had they received better play from the quarterback position, but Russell Wilson scored just 9 points. In the postseason, they will need to find some consistency from either Wilson or Stafford. With the win, iPump Plastic clinched their first playoff appearance in just their first season. Team Griffith lost a heartbreaker despite having Aaron Rodgers and Jonathan Taylor in the lineup. Rodgers and Taylor combined for 83.5 points, which could have easily beaten a few other teams. Unfortunately for them, injuries haunted them this week. With Cordarelle Patterson and Elijah Mitchell injured, they had to turn to Adrian Peterson. AP scored just 5 points and was waived following the game. Patterson or Mitchell could have possibly scored nine more points than Peterson, which would have won the game for Team Griffith. Also, Darrel Williams was strongly impacted by the return of Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Williams scored just 2.5 points, which was nowhere enough. At 3-7-1, Team Griffith's season is now over, and they will have to look to 2022 to repeat their 2020 campaign.

Bellwind High Football Club (MUFFINZ) 83
Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (Queso James) 82

Summary:
Bellwind High Football Club has struggled in the second half of 2022, but they still clinched a playoff spot in their inaugural season. Tom Brady and Chris Godwin were the team's heroes, as their 34 points on Monday were enough to just carry them to a Monday victory. Also, Mike Williams returned to his early-season form, scoring a crucial touchdown to give the Chargers the win over the Steelers. Had Williams not come through in the clutch, Bellwind would have dropped the game, so Williams was this week's player of the game. Ultimately, the RB issue is glaring due to injuries to Derrick Henry and Alvin Kamara. Miles Sanders and Kenyan Drake combined for just 9.5 points, as each struggled with platoons. Darrell Henderson will return to the lineup next week, but the team's fate could rely on DeAndre Hopkins and Alvin Kamara successfully returning from injury. If they can do so, Bellwind could put together some dominant performances as they did in the first half. As for the Cig Squad, the defending champion will not return to the postseason, which has been a running theme in this league's history. In fact, the defending champion has never made the postseason after winning the title. The loss can be chalked to poor showings from Ryan Tannehill and AJ Brown. In Week 8, it looked as if Tannehill and Brown could be league winners, but they combined for just 14.5 points this time. Saquon Barkley returned from injury but was underwhelming- scoring just 8 in a tough matchup. Had Barkley scored in double digits, the Cig Squad would have kept their season alive. Ultimately, though, it was a disappointing performance for the team. Najee Harris and Mark Ingram were the only players to score over 10, but they each scored less than last week. Now, the Cig Squad will turn to 2022 to return to championship form.

The Jared Goff Lion Experience (Dishnet34) 88
Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115) 127

Summary:
After an extremely unlucky start to 2021, it was only a matter of time until the Phantoms saw positive regression. Justin Jefferson has been the strongest performer in each of the last two weeks, and he scored a remarkable 32 points this time. Like Jefferson, Mike Evans has been a key piece, and he scored 17 points this week. The most important takeaway from this week, however, was the acquisition of Tua Tagovailoa. The second-year QB scored 16 points, which was far better than Matt Ryan's zero-point dud in Week 10. It is unknown how much longer Kyler Murray will miss, but Tagovailoa filled in admirably. The team was hit by injuries a bit, as both Ezekiel Elliot and Michael Carter missed time in their games. Carter's injury is more serious, and he will miss a few weeks. This puts the Phantoms in a precarious RB situation, as they have already lost Chris Carson for the season. Rhamondre Stevenson is probably the best replacement for Carter, but he is in a strict 50-50 platoon with Damien Harris, which will hurt his value. In a must-win situation, the Phantoms will need to figure out this RB2 situation. The Jared Goff Lion Experience fell to 8-3, which can be chalked up to Patrick Mahomes' struggles and Cooper Kupp's bye week. Mahomes scored just 7 points, which was shocking after his 39-point outburst in Week 10. Mahomes had been the pinnacle of consistency heading into 2021, but his value has fallen off a bit. However, the WR situation sunk the Lion Experience in Week 11. Cooper Kupp missed with a bye week, and Marquise Brown was sidelined with an injury, which caused them to rely on Robby Anderson and Marquez Callaway. These two combined for just 14 points, which is way below Kupp and Brown's usual totals. With Kupp and Brown likely returning soon, there is not much to worry about here, but the loss is still disappointing.

Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 94
Break the Walls Down (PhilliesFan134) 106

Summary:
Break the Walls Down has put together a nice 3-1 stretch after starting the season 0-7. Christian McCaffrey's return has been a major reason for this, as CMC scored 20.5 points again this week. Also, Brandon Aiyuk was great, scoring over 17. One is left to wonder why he was in Kyle Shanahan's doghouse for a good portion of the season. Also, Darren Waller had a welcome return to his 2020 season, scoring 14.5 points. Despite this, Waller has yet to clear 15 points since Week 1 of the season, meaning he has been one of the bigger disappointments this season. Josh Allen only scored 15, but this was actually a decent total given Buffalo's blowout loss to Indianapolis. Break the Walls Down will hope to continue to play spoiler down the stretch, and the Detroit Phantoms and Atomic Pickles will be rooting for them to upset the Los Angeles Aodgers in Week 12. It was a devastating loss for the Pickles, who lost due to one decision. They started Dak Prescott over Jalen Hurts, which cost them 27 points. This was not an unsound decision by any means, as Prescott had a seemingly beneficial matchup against Kansas City. However, he lost Amari Cooper due to COVID and CeeDee Lamb due to a concussion, which handcuffed his weapons. This ultimately masked strong performances from Davante Adams and Terry McLaurin, who combined for 45 points in the game. Another reason for the loss was poor RB play, as Antonio Gibson and David Montgomery combined for just around 12 points. Poor offenses have hampered the Pickles this season, with Washington and Chicago as the perfect examples of this. Now, the Pickles will need to win out, the Aodgers to lose out, and to make up a lot of ground in the tiebreakers to return to the postseason, all of which seems daunting.

MLBPPWORLD FANTASY WEEK 12 RECAP

Odd Year Magic (GoTwins24) 78
The Jared Goff Lion Experience 148.5

Summary:
It was a day to remember for Leonard Fournette and the Jared Goff Lion Experience in turn. Fournette scored four total touchdowns en route to a 40-point performance, one of the best of the season. Fournette has been one of the value picks of the season, taking over Tampa Bay's backfield almost completely. Also, Josh Jacobs had his best game of the year- scoring 17 points. Vegas seemed to have changed their game script to include him more, which would be a positive sign for the Lion Experience as they head into the postseason. With Mahomes and Kelce on bye, it was going to be seemingly difficult for the Lion Experience to replace them, but their replacements actually performed better than Mahomes and Kelce did in Week 11. Trevor Lawrence and Rob Gronkowski combined for 31 points, which was 8 more than Mahomes and Kelce last week. Ultimately, the Lion Experience should be enthralled with the strong team effort, as the foundation seems to be strengthened for Mahomes and Kelce's return to the lineup. As for Odd Year Magic, the season has unraveled. In most instances, when a kicker nearly leads the team in scoring, it is a bad sign. This was the case for Odd Year Magic this week, as Diontae Johnson only led Evan McPherson in scoring by one point. Every other player was almost atrocious- with some notable clunkers. Nick Chubb, Aaron Jones, George Kittle, Devonta Smith, and Lamar Jackson combined for under 20 points- horrendous outputs given their pre-week expectations. In fact, the team's bench nearly outscored their starters, which is a sad fact given their bench depth is lacking. Next week, they will try to avoid repeating a 3-9-1 record, which will be a tough ask without either of their top-2 runningbacks.

Team Griffith (jag123jg) 158
Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (Queso James) 76

Summary:
After an unlucky loss in Week 11, Team Griffith made up for it in a big way- doubling their opponent's point total. Jonathan Taylor has emerged as the potential 1.01 in 2022, following up his 50.5-point masterclass with a near-20 pointer despite Indy's increased passing attempts. This week, the returns of Elijah Mitchell and Cordarrelle Patterson were major- as they combined for around 50 points. Both of these players were acquired from waivers- a testament to good roster managing from Team Griffith, similar to their addition of Mike Davis early in 2020. Unfortunately, Deebo Samuel suffered an injury, but this was offset by Dalvin Cook also suffering an injury, meaning Team Griffith can put Alexander Mattison in the flex spot. Overall, the story of Team Griffith's season has been incredibly prudent runningback waiver pickups, yet the team sits at 4-7-1 due to some poor matchup luck. Also, DJ Moore's regression and Julio Jones' injury issues sank their WR position. It was an unlucky year overall, but Team Griffith should be back in the mix in 2022. The Cig Squad fell to 4-8 in a disappointing game. They were hit with rough news early- as Mark Ingram (who has been a solid pickup up to this point) was ruled out before the Thanksgiving game started. This caused the Cig Squad to have a zero spot in their lineup, which was going to be tough to overcome. There were still a few bright spots, mainly Tee Higgins' 20-point game. While Saquon Barkley scored just 7 points, his usage was near 90%- which will probably translate to better games moving forward. Still, AJ Brown, Amari Cooper, and Corey Davis' injuries were tough to overcome, especially Brown's. In Week 8, it looked as if Brown was going to return to WR1 production, but he has been decimated by multiple injuries since then. Their RB core is still strong despite Najee Harris' clunker, but the Cig Squad will now look toward 2022 after losing their 8th game.

Los Angeles Aodgers (Kungfupandacam) 141
Break the Walls Down (PhilliesFan134) 86.5

Summary:
One of the stories of the 2021 season has been the late ascension of the Los Angeles Aodgers, who followed up their near-200 point outing with another impressive win. Jaylen Waddle has paralleled Los Angeles' emergence, as he has been a top-10 receiver in recent weeks. This week, he led the team with 23.5 points. Following him were the non-position players- Daniel Carlson and New England's defense, who combined for nearly 40 points. DST and Kicker are often overlooked positions, but they can often make the difference in close games. New England's defense will have a big test next week against Buffalo's offense, which may determine whether they can be a matchup-proof, set-and-forget defense going forward. One thing that would help Los Angeles would be more consistency for the Chargers' offense, but Justin Herbert and Austin Ekeler still combined for 37 points. Also, 141 points is actually a low total for them, given that D'Andre Swift left the first Thanksgiving game with a shoulder injury. Swift will miss some time, but Los Angeles has Jamaal Williams ready to go on their bench, proving the importance of handcuffs. Overall, the Aodgers should be a prime playoff contender and can beat any team. Break the Walls Down fell to 3-9, scoring under 100 largely due to injuries. Christian McCaffrey and Darren Waller each were injured, so they combined for just 7 points. Also, Kareem Hunt was likely limited due to his injury, and so he scored just 2 points. These injuries would be almost impossible to overcome regardless of the matchup, but it also did not help that Kyle Pitts scored just 3 points. Pitts has struggled since what appeared to be a rookie breakout, but this could be due to a poorly-run offense in Atlanta. Most teams that chose McCaffrey have had headaches this year, and Break the Walls Down will hope to keep their first-round pick healthy next season.

iPump Plastic (iPump Plastic) 129
Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115) 91.5

Summary:
iPump Plastic improved to 9-3 with yet another win- continuing a hot streak. It was the Joe Mixon show this week, as Cincinnati's running back went off for 30 points in a blowout win. The most encouraging game, though, might have come from Odell Beckham, Jr. Beckham scored 16.5 points, silencing some critics from the past few seasons. Overall, iPump Plastic's receivers came through in a major way, as Elijah Moore was their only receiver to score less than 10 points. There was some bad news, as Dalvin Cook left the game early due to an injury. Cook finished with an okay ten points, but he is now scheduled to miss a few weeks. The team does not have Alexander Mattison rostered, so Cook's absence will be significant. Although, they can plug James Conner into Cook's spot. They also will have Clyde Edwards-Helaire back next week, adding to their RB options. At 9-3, the team will be fighting for playoff seeding- an impressive feat in their first year. As for the Phantoms, they were eliminated from the postseason with this week's loss. Injuries and bye weeks cost them, as they were without both Tyreek Hill and Michael Carter, each of whom was pivotal to their recent run of success. Their replacements, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Rex Burkhead could not fill in for them as they combined for just 12.5. Also, Justin Jefferson and Mike Evans have been key to their recent success as well, but they combined for just 12.5 points this time as well. Actually, Nick Folk was tied with Carson Wentz for the team-lead in points. Folk has been a great addition, and if Hill, Evans, and Jefferson were in the lineup and performing like usual, this would have likely been a different story. Instead, the Phantoms will now turn to 2022.

Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 92.5
Bellwind High Football Club (MUFFINZ) 88.5

Summary:
The Atomic Pickles pulled off a Monday Night Miracle, improving to 6-6 thanks to Antonio Gibson and Terry McLaurin. Gibson and McLaurin outscored DK Metcalf by over 20 points, which made the difference in this one. Gibson's usage was also excellent, even though J.D. McKissic scored two touchdowns. Had Gibson gotten those touchdowns, he would have easily scored over 30. Also, Hunter Renfrow was a key piece in the win as he scored 17 points on Thanskgiving. These games offset disappointments from Ja'Marr Chase, David Montgomery, and Davante Adams (sort of). Chase has cooled off significantly after Week 7, as he is yet to score close to 15 points since then. Montgomery has also disappointed, as many predicted a 2020-style breakout from him, but that just hasn't happened. Matt Nagy seems to be too much for him to overcome this time. Also, QB has given them a major headache this season, as it always seems the benched QB outscores the one they start by over 20. This happened again with Prescott outscoring Hurts, although it did not sink them this time. At 6-6, the Pickles would be contending in most other years, but 7-6 will be insufficient to make the playoffs this season. As for Bellwind, it has been a disastrous stretch as of late, but that can be explained by injuries to Alvin Kamara and Derrick Henry. With them healthy, they would have the best RB duo in the league, easily. Also, Tampa Bay's offense has not been the best from a fantasy perspective (minus Leonard Fournette) in recent weeks. This time, Brady and Godwin combined for just 13 points, which was ultimately why Bellwind lost this week. In addition, DK Metcalf was shockingly poor, scoring just 1.5 points. Now, returns from DeAndre Hopkins and Alvin Kamara will be absolutely essential for Bellwind to do well in December, and they did receive some positive news on the Kamara front. Kamara will return to practice on a short week, although it remains to be seen whether he will play against Dallas. Bellwind started off on a torrid stretch, which has been enough to get them into mid-December football, but they will need to return to this form to contend for a title.

MLBPPWORLD FANTASY WEEK 13 RECAP

Odd Year Magic (GoTwins24) 165.5
iPump Plastic (iPump Plastic) 105

Summary:
The lingering question for Odd Year Magic after this game is, "where was this all season?" This week, they nearly matched their point total from each of the last two weeks combined. Heading into the game, the outlook was not so positive, as both starting runningbacks missed due to bye weeks. Yet, Devonta Freeman and Sony Michel actually out-performed Nick Chubb and Aaron Jones's games from Week 12. This provided a solid baseline, but the team's pass-catchers shined the most. George Kittle scored 34.5 points, his highest of the season. At full health, Kittle has arguably been the best TE in the league this season, which has been beneficial to Odd Year Magic in lieu of Logan Thomas's health concerns. Diontae Johnson and Keenan Allen were as dependable as usual, with Allen finally ending his touchdown drought and Johnson scoring twice. Devonta Smith was the exception to receiving excellence, scoring just 2 points in what has been an extremely inconsistent year for the rookie pass-catcher. Lamar Jackson has also been a major disappointment ever since Week 9, and his 16 points this week were somehow his best in that span. Odd Year Magic avoided tying their all-time worst record, but they definitely expected more heading into the season. iPump Plastic lost, but they will still be headed for the postseason. Injuries hurt them, especially from Minnesota, as Dalvin Cook missed the game and Adam Thielen left early. It is tough to overcome a 0.5-point outing in any circumstance, but even more so against 165.5 points. Also, Joe Mixon regressed a bit after his stellar Week 12, but that can be chalked up to a poor game script. On a more optimistic note, Odell Beckham, Jr. scored 9 points, which is not world-beating by any means, but impressive given he dealt with an injury and a run-heavy gamescript. Heading into the postseason, iPump Plastic will hope Dalvin Cook returns to full health, and also that Elijah Moore continues his strong rookie year as an Adam Thielen replacement. They face the Los Angeles Aodgers, who are missing a significant amount of players in Round 1 of the playoffs, which makes it imperative for iPump Plastic to start off strong.

Break the Walls Down (PhilliesFan134) 48.5
The Jared Goff Lion Experience (Dishnet34) 131

Summary:
It's been an incredible season for the Jared Goff Lion Experience: 10 wins, a division title, the number one overall seed, and their fourth playoff appearance in league history. This is especially impressive given Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce's struggles this year, which continued this week. Most teams with Mahomes-Kelce stacks would have been sunk, but The Lion Experience's noted skill in finding breakout players and value picks overcame this hit. Josh Jacobs, Leonard Fournette, Rob Gronkowski, Cooper Kupp, and Marquise Brown have provided the team with a solid formation, and they have carried them these past two weeks. Leonard Fournette is especially impressive and has claimed dominance over the Tampa Bay backfield. Cooper Kupp is this season's Stefon Diggs, as he has a chance to be the WR1 in spite of his 6th-round ADP. With these value selections, the Jared Goff Lion Experience has had an incredible season, and they will look to continue that in the postseason. It has been a rough year for Break the Walls Down, and they really struggled this week. This was mainly because of weather. They had four players from Monday's Bills-Patriots snow game, and the four of them combined for just 12 points. Josh Allen was the leading scorer, but he scored just 10 points in the loss. Darren Waller's injury also left a big void in the starting lineup, and Jack Doyle failed to match his usual impact. Also significant has been Kyle Pitts's struggles down the stretch. Pitts appeared to be poised for a breakout, but he has faltered ever since Atlanta left London. Bye weeks also cost Break the Walls Down, as numerous players missed the game on bye. This was a season to forget for them, but a lot of it came down to poor luck.

Team Griffith (jag123jg) 132.5
Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115) 111

Summary:
Team Griffith may be the unluckiest team in league history. They led the entire league in points scored, but they finished 5-7-1. Such poor luck is unprecedented. They went on a mini late-season surge thanks to Jonathan Taylor's ascendancy, as Taylor's 50.5 point game in Week 11 (which Tam Griffith still somehow lost) helped their point total a great deal. They may have the best RB room in the league- especially with Alexander Mattison starting. In addition to Taylor, Cordarelle Patterson and Elijah Mitchell have been consistently solid this season. Even Deebo Samuel has performed well as a RB/WR hybrid. It is difficult to determine why Team Griffith missed the postseason with such a strong roster. They did have some consistency issues at WR earlier in the year, as DJ Moore and AJ Green struggled as a duo for most of the mid-season weeks. The Kamara-Samuel trade helped solidify the WR position, which has clearly aided their late-season rise. Betting odds would be quite good for Team Griffith to win the consolation bracket, as they have all the tools to do so. The Detroit Phantoms have also been unlucky this year, giving up the second-highest amount of points in the bloodbath that is the Alvin Lockhart Division. As usual, Justin Jefferson was absolutely dominant, scoring nearly 30 points. This was a strong rebound from his 10-points from last week, which was a bit of a letdown. The biggest story, though, was Kyler Murray's return from injury. Murray looked as good as ever, and Arizona's cautious injury management seems to have paid off. Murray scored 29 points this week, which was similar to his early-season numbers. Unfortunately for the Phantoms, no one else really matched Jefferson or Murray's production. Tyreek Hill was especially a letdown, and he scored just 3 points. The injury to Michael Carter has also created a void, as the Flex 2 position has taken a big hit. This week, Christian Kirk scored less than one point, which limited the Phantoms' upside. At 5-8, it was a disappointing finish for the Phantoms, especially given how good their roster looked on paper. They will hope to be more fortunate in 2022.

Smokin' Jay's Cig Squad (Queso James) 100.5
Atomic Pickles (AgentP) 137.5

Summary:
In many years, the Atomic Pickles would have made the playoffs at 7-6 with a solid point total. Unfortunately for them, they fell just short of a postseason return. It may have been just too late for some of their players to break out. Antonio Gibson, David Montgomery, and Javonte Williams could all be league-winners this year, but it took each of them a while to get going. All of these backs were essential to the Pickles' win this week, each nearing the 20-point mark. This made up for some poor showings from receivers, as Terry McLaurin and Ja'Marr Chase combined for just 11 points. Actually, Hunter Renfrow was their highest-scoring receiver. Renfrow has been a key pickup this season and is the primary target-getter for Vegas at this point. Scoring 137.5 points was a significant achievement with Davante Adams on bye, but the Pickles easily managed to overcome his bye week. Like Team Griffith, the Pickles are in a good position to potentially win the consolation bracket, especially with the aforementioned potential league-winning backs. The defending champ lost the 2020 finals rematch and fell to 4-9 on the season. Tee Higgins was great, though, and it appears as if he is the new primary target in Cincinnati. Aside from Higgins, though, no Cig Squad player was impressive. Najee Harris was the second-highest scoring position player, but he scored just 12.5 points- a bit low compared to his standard. James Robinson was probably the biggest letdown as he had a touchdown vultured away by Carlos Hyde. Additionally, Saquon Barkley disappointed again. Barkley still saw a high target and carry share, but he could not translate that into points. Negative game scripts and injuries have hurt Barkley this year, but a new QB in New York could make him a strong option again in 2022. For the Cig Squad, the season looked promising when they were 4-6, but injuries and bye weeks set them back.

Los Angeles Aodgers (Kungfupandacam) 125
Bellwind High Football Club (MUFFINZ) 99.5

Summary:
Los Angeles continued their absolute tear, finishing the season with an unbeaten run after Week 8. This week, they benefitted from Gardiner Minshew as Jacksonville's QB, as he targeted Dallas Goedert heavily, which allowed him to finish with 25. Justin Herbert was also key, bouncing back from a multi-INT showing last week to score 24. However, Austin Ekeler struggled a bit because of two fumbles. This capped the Aodgers' upside to around the 120-mark. Weather was also not on their side as Stefon Diggs managed to score just 7 points. Luckily for them, this can be written off. Most importantly for them, they survived D'Andre Swift's absence this week. However, with many players on bye next week, D'Andre Swift's health could determine how they fare in the postseason. The Chargers have a favorable matchup against the Giants, although Jaylen Waddle and Myles Gaskin combined for under 20 against the same team. If Los Angeles can survive poor scheduling luck, they may be the favorites to win. They are certainly the hottest team entering the postseason. Bellwind High Football Club looked unbeatable at times during the year, but injuries have derailed them. This week, they only had two healthy running backs on the roster. This caused them to have to start Darrell Henderson and Alvin Kamara, who each did not play. Had they been healthy, Bellwind could have pulled the final game out. There were some positive takeaways, mostly that the supporting cast that gave them their early-season success seems to be returning to form. Tom Brady and Chris Godwin combined for almost 50 points, and DeAndre Hopkins returned from injury to score a touchdown. Miles Sanders was also great with a good target share, scoring 15.5 points. The story of the postseason will be whether Darrell Henderson and/or Alvin Kamara return to full health. If they do, Bellwind could still bounce back in a big way.

Regular Season Final Standings:
Alvin Lockhart Division
z-The Jared Goff Lion Experience 10-3
x-iPump Plastic 9-4
Team Griffith 5-7-1
Detroit Phantoms 5-8
Odd Year Magic 4-8-1
