Ok so should I make him a batter and raise his pitching so I can use that stance or should I make him a pitcher and if I make him pitcher is he SP Pitcher?

He has to be a pitcher because batters can't get breaking ball experience points.

You can't make him a batter because you won't be able to get any pitches. Breaking ball points can only be received by a pitcher.
