The random events ion 07 seemed alot more random, like Robin giving you pumpkins, 08 is a lot less random

Was success mode longer or something? Sounds too me that 07 was really good. maybe I'll buy it tomorrow.

08 can be longer or shorter, depending on energy which gives you carryover points

I occasionally go back to 07 to compare player abilities from last year to this year.

07 success was the best-only one I can beat.

I guess the reason I dislike 08 success is the ramped difficulty and it already seems we found everything.

If you like success mode then buy it. If you're one of those people that hate it because you can't pass it then don't. But it sounds like you like it so yes you should get it.

If you hate 08 success mode because you can't pass it. Then get 07. Because it isn't ridiculously hard.

Yes 07 is easier. It does take a try or two to figure it out but after that you can generally pass even with a bad player.

07 is simply hilarious and the plot is very good. The random events are great especially with the tarrot cards. This game is a little harder to pass (I've never had trouble and I didn't pass once in 07, but it was my first try then) but its so much easiar to make great players. Last years was more of a challenge to make a super-star and a lot more fun. Random events were way more frequent and there were 20 times at least. You only see about a 20th of the events every time you go through where in this game you see 80-90% of the random events each time.
