i finished with no hits, but i got HBP twice and got 3 BBs.
I was waaaay too patient.

That's ok, being patient is good, fans may not like seeing you not getting hits, but your teammates appreciate you getting on base.

i'm only 13, too.

i was 12 at the time, though.
i was scared of batting after that pitch.

All I ever do is ethier walk or strike out.

But I do get a lot of walks...

Work on swinging the bat maybe like 20 times a day, find out what you are doing wrong and fix it.

A lil tip, with practice, you can play nearly any position, mark derosa can playy everywhere but pitcher ( he is the cubs 3rd string catcher i think! ) I play outfield and catcher, but also can play SS nd 2nd pretty well, can't play 1st for crap, but i cna pitch a little, im kindof like a pitcher that will play if we are sucking BAD!

Perserve like I did. Also if you have a goal to beat him out, or something to get better at Baseball with, write it down, it makes all the differences.

I can also play outfield but im not so good at it, I have a decent throw, like 150-200ish yards but bad control of where the ball is going.

Well you can fix that easily, but their is more to just throwing and catching, it's knowing where to throw it.

Also just points your front shoulder to where you want it to go.

To me the hardest part of playing outfield is judging fly balls, particularly in trying to get a good jump on one. I had never played outfield in a game in my life until I found myself playing left field on a city softball league team in my late 20s. It was definitely an adjustment, I just tried to get as many fungos hit my way as possible in practice situations to get used to it.

But throwing accurately from the outfield is really no different than making the cross-diamond throw from the hole at short or from deep third. Just keep in mind that you're throwing to a target (cutoff man) even from the outfield. You're not just randomly chucking the ball into the infield.

I mean when there is a runner on 3rd base, I might be able to do it in school, since the field is not that big. Depends on what you mean by catching, run and catch or like stand there and catch.
