"The Search for Gyroball"

Please be cordial when directing people to the make-shift guides to getting gyroball. This thread is flying and you can have a page of posts go by and not even know it. 4 pages were made in just the last 10 or so hours.

Rememeber, Mr. Welz is describing every step he took to get the gyroball. The characters being made right now will be poor because they are spending more time dating than working (gee... sounds like me).

Until we can whittle down WHICH events are truely KEY to getting gyroball without spending 75% of your events chasing her, you all should still be working out the details and cutting corners on his path, trying to see the minimum it takes to accomplish those tasks.

Please continue to post 'walkthroughs' on how YOU obtained gyroball in order to help narrow down the key events needed to unlock the gyroball events.

I had to work the the Duck's once to get Ben at the street.
other than that, theres not much else i can add that hasnt already been mentioned.

He's right, I'll summarize the things people already stated.. and, with everyone's summaries, let us try to trim down all events that "might" not be needed..

1) Can anyone get to the gyroball arc without going through the blackdog event?
2) Do you HAVE to work at ducks to start this gyroball arc? or do you only need to see patty?
3) Can you get the gyroball without maxing out patty?
4) Can you get to the gyroball event without giving Patty a gift during Christmas?
5) When patty leaves the Ducks, what is the "earliest" time length that she came back?

That's all i could think of right now, if you guys can think of any other way to cut corners, please do share.. I know experimenting all these scenarios are very time consuming and requires a lot of sacrifice.. but if you have spare time, please do tell us what events can be discarded in obtaining the gyroball..

(i feel bad that i'm just shooting my mouth right here and doing no "playtime" to help milk this arc..) but i'll try my best to research in the other forums what they might now.. and if all comes to worse.. maybe i can email 2kSports again.. :mrgreen:

so the key is that the black dog storyline has to end well, and you have to finish all the dates at the lookout. dont go to the lookout twice in a row or she'll get pissed. alternate with food or something

So when you were on Nov. 4.. was the black dog arc already finished?

i met ben in the street on Nov 1. then marvin came and gave me a dog. i kept visiting ducks though because i didnt have patty up to full yet. so whenever i wasnt pushing the arc, i'd at least be dating patty.

some people say you can get ben in the street early, and if so that could push this entire ordeal up several months

Maybe you don't have to trigger black dog?

With my newest Gyroballer I just got goodjob, and he was a......... Failure..... Darn.

I think once I had the Black dog hot dog tasting event happen once and I never went to the street. Could be my imagination though....

It was right before the final game, I find it's easy to get him at the time.

Not yet.... They got back on gyroball so quickly....

after you had to choose to run the ducks together? if you answered sure, then she'll be back in a week or two. if you answered the other, negative one, she never comes back
