I found out that some of the random events with a storyline to them can be found by visiting the place where it occurs. Like I visited Vicinage with nobody there and got the random event where Marvin doesn't remember anything but baseball.
Unfortunately it doesn't work for events with no storyline. For example: Dr.Goodjob never appeared at the park when I visited.

Sometimes the person will show up there. Like I saw the Ben face at the street.

weird...

I still love the marvin's kid event.
its the funiest part of the whole game.
you have to pick kid though, becuase otherwise you'll only get candy, which sucks.
plus, its funnier.
the kid says "papa" and runs away.

In this game I only saw Dr. Goodjob twice out of 9 characters that I have made

out of 3 tries, only saw him once (with S/L for the final AA game)

Does anyone know what time of the year you guys meet Dr. Goodjob? I only met him twice out of 7 characters and he always appears sometime between July and august of Yr. 2

Which is.. by then, you only have a little time left.. has anyone managed to meet him earlier?

Yes, I have met in the first year as well, and pretty much any time. Like last year, he may be more likely to show up during the last critical games, where other random events are less likely to occur.

I had him show up once right before the AAA championship game.. I don't remember the other times though...

So he shows up more often before the "final" game of that particular class..?

Figures.. i'll try to save/reload more often in that timespan
