Ever since '07 I though STR Finisher meant Strong Finisher. But I just got it from the mountain at night event with marvin and it said I gained the "Starter Finisher" ability :shock:

okay, it sounded like it could be a batter's ability.
but i always thought it said strong finisher too.

Could that mean it's useless for closers?
I always get it for my closers...

I am with you guys on that one. :shock: There's a possibilty it is strong finisher because they have a tendency to misname abilities in success.

Well just because, it says "starter finisher" doesn't mean its only for starters because after all, it's a pitcher's ability..

If you have that ability.. You might notice that during the last 3 innings.. your pitcher's control improves and your breaking balls also (slightly) improve.. Im not sure, this could only be my mind fooling with me but, i think this is the effect. :)

Yeah it makes you use less stamina and control in the latter innings of a game, so you'll notice it on a starter in the last 2-3 innings, and you probably get a boost on a closer too, though you wont notice it as much, since theres no early performance to reference it to.
