We're having our own little election here!

And obama overtakes mccain by one vote.

only surprising because of the typical demographics of the people who would be on this site... of course, I'm not part of that demographic

What? What are the typical demographics? Are baseball game upsessed people more often republican or democratic? I'm personally more liberal, but I try not to judge people by party.

Maybe because the game is geared towards children? I don't think it is but maybe because of the graphics.....

If you look at the thread where people say their age, it doesn't appear like it.

I know I'm just saying if you take a glance at the cover you might think it was a kiddy game.

We have had 8yrs of Bush, whom I did not vote for, and McBush will be the same. Economy is the main issue and McCain hasn't a clue, just do what Bush did. He votes 90% of the time with Bush and yet he claims to be a maverick for change. McCain says we to fix our dependance on oil and said that the problem has gone on for 30yrs, yet he's been in office for 26 of those years?!

I want Obama. Someone different, someone that ISN'T another Bush. McCain wants to give oil companys 100Billion tax cuts, Obama wants them to pay more. McCain wants to give larger tax cuts to the rich, Obama wants anyone over 250K a year to pay! McCain believes it's fair that a CEO of a major company get more of tax break then his sectary who has two jobs and three kids, Obama wants that reversed.

I have always looked at this election very simply and can break down like so.....

If you think the economy is in good shape, if you are happy with the taxs, if you like the wars that we are fighting and believe they should continue, if you think that health care is not an issue, if you believe our engery policy is solid and that drilling is the solution, and if you think we have a good standing in the policitcal world. IF you agree with all this then vote for McCain. IF you have a problem with ANY of it then you vote for Obama.


I think I made my stance clear....if you still can't tell, my vote is for Obama and I hope he kicks McBush's *** in the debates.

Dispite how much I may want to vote for a 3rd party there just hasn't been one that has even stood a chance since Ros Perot. Give me a 3rd party that can do well enough to earn a spot in the Presidental debates then he/she will have my attention. Till then, you are just as better of voting for Big Bird or Barney then a 3rd party candidate.
