I don't really think it's fair to compare baseball and hockey, because they're so different. I'd say its two closest twins are soccer and even basketball.

Soccer already has shootouts, so I'm not going to go there. Plus I hardly know anything about soccer.

But in basketball, although it would be interesting, a shootout would not be a good way to end the game. It's a team game, but you're putting the fate solely on the shoulders of one offensive player and one defensive player from each team. Plus, why not have overtime? In my opinion, it's much more exciting than watching a game of 1 on 1.

So I guess I agree with you, cooldude. :lol:

Sorry to double post for the second time on this page...

I just finished making my very own Kent Murphy in Success. Ended up with C(10) contact and A(255!!

) power, plus D every thing else except E arm strength. Would've been better if the Goodjob I had was a success, but oh well. He also has Power Hitter, Clutch Hit 5, Table Setter, Good B2B Hitter, Hot Hitter, and maybe a few more abilities... The ironic thing is that I got Good Small Ball through some even with Terry. :lol:

He could end up in a season log later on... But yeah, I know, my logs suck and last less than a week usually. :lol:

But it doesn't hurt to dream, right?

I can upload him if anyone is interested, but otherwise I won't bother with it.

Apparently my YouTube channel is up to 75 subscribers now. That means I've gained 3 in a row without losing any, I can't remember the last time that's happened. I was bouncing between 72 and 73 for a while, but haven't lost any in a day or two now.
