Harnish comes through for a last out save

Sapporo, Blue Stadium -- The Bears beat the Eagles in a thriller at home tonight. The Bears began the game with RBI doubles by Gunderson and Yamaguchi to make it 2-0. In the fifth, the Bears extended their lead to 3-0. Matsukura pitched a gem tonight, not allowing any runs til the seventh. In the seventh, the Eagles got an RBI groundout and an RBI single from Carlos Terrero reducing the lead to 3-2. In the eighth the Bears struck for another run to make it 4-2, in the ninth, Harnish came in for the Bears to hopefully shut it down. The first two batters singled, and Peter walked to load the bases with no outs. Kaz Matsui did not come through in the clutch, grounding into a double play scoring a run making it 4-3. Garcia then struck out to end the game, 4-3.

Back in Black Night, Blue Stadium
Bears win intense game against rivals Fighters

Sapporo, Blue Stadium -- You could tell this rivalry game would be intense from the very start. Maeda carried a perfect game into the fourth when it was broken up by Tanaka. In the fourth, Einishi ripped a two-run single for the Bears to make it 2-0. In the bottom of the fifth, Gunderson was on second with two outs when Crosby ripped a single to centerfield. Itoi, the Fighters center fielder, gunned Gunderson down at home to end the fifth. In the top of the sixth, Itoi was on second with two outs when Nakata roped a single to center. Gunderson threw an offline throw to home, but Nick Lockhart scooped it up and dove to home plate to tag out Itoi keeping the shutout alive. In the seventh, the Bears grabbed 3 runs on back-to-back homers by Yamaguchi and Dan. The Bears finished it off in the ninth, winning it 5-0.

Puig Not Happy in MLB?

Tokyo -- Major League outfielder, Yasiel Puig, of the Los Angeles Dodgers has shown signs that he is not happy in the MLB. He is getting little to no play time and believes he can be a star for a team.

There have been rumors that Puig will come to the NPB to test his fame and skills in Japan where teams will be dying over him. The Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks have been rumored to show much interest in Puig and would value an outfielder of his caliber with their recent flaws in 2013.
