Washington -- Nats dump Cliff Lee in exchange for bullpen arm. The Nationals dealt veteran starter Cliff Lee to the Detroit Tigers in exchange for 28-year old reliever Francisco Cruceta. Many Nationals fans are criticizing this move, but clearly, with a 7.62 ERA, Cliff Lee is not cut out for pitching in the NL. This is a win-win trade, as the Tigers acquire a fresh arm for their rotation, and the Nats dump $4mil of salary and acquire a fresh bullpen arm.
