I told coach to pencil me in the lineup at first base tomorrow.

In our final game at Maryland, with my hand bandaged, I played some good first base. Even the opposing fans applauded when I showed my durability when I came up to bat. The pitcher was a fastball/changeup pitcher.

We arrived at Rhode Island's field. The doctor had recommended that I don't use a wooden bat this season because of my injury, so I was back to Aluminum. The game started well for us, and in my last at bat of the game, I was 1-2 with 2 walks. The pitcher had a great fastball, but was wild.
