Why what's wrong babe?



And I'm not cheering for A-Rod, but I find it super annoying when anything gets as much or more showtime on ESPN than the Jets.

Not saying I like hearing about the Jets 24/7, its just they get too much publicity about everything, and anything that gets as much publicity as that gets annoying to hear about really quickly. Ya know?

Apparently I must have gotten something somehow on this laptop that makes some search.conduit crap the home page no matter what. I spent two hours trying to fix it and the home page just can't be changed, that page can't even be blocked.

Holy wow that must suck... I remember ours got stuck on some random page one time and it took an hour for me to figure out how to fix it... It was super annoying though, because whenever I opened a new tab I had to go to google.com instead of it instantly popping up.

Weird that I have an ordinary home page on the older laptop, when it had like no antivirus things or anything for months of use. So, really, I don't see any difference in having antivirus stuff and not having it. One laptop is a day old and has problems when it had antivirus stuff all over it, this one has no virus related issues and has been used for months with no virus protection on unsafe sites.

Did you check your browser extensions? Maybe something got mysteriously placed in your browser without your knowing?

I managed to fix the home page thing on Firefox, it was probably more trouble than it was worth, but whatever. I had to completely remove Firefox and everything it was associated, then reinstall it, but for some reason Internet Explorer wouldn't open so I didn't have an Internet browser to use to go back and get Firefox, I was halfway towards downloading the Firefox setup on my other laptop and moving it with a flash drive when for some reason, deleting one of the programs I didn't want on here opened Internet Explorer successfully. Then once I got Firefox back I had to get all of my bookmarked pages back in and sign in on about 10 different sites.

Even now, Internet Explorer just doesn't work when I try to open it, and there's nowhere where I can uninstall it either. Hopefully I won't need it. If I need to uninstall this browser again I'll need to get a backup browser first.

cooldude, you seem to have more problems with technology than anyone ever should.
