Yeah, the biggest negative is that you need to stay a member to continue playing the games. You can't just buy the 3 month membership to get some games and then not renew it and keep the games. Although sometimes they give good discounts (nothing compared to what Steam gives from what I hear, but I don't have a gaming computer or anything), and you obviously keep stuff you buy at a discount.

For $50 a year though, it's worth it. Considering you get some games free that are still priced around $50 or more, and if you like at least one of them then you break even. And they also give some minor free games that can be pretty good. You also get free timed trials (I don't really play trials, but others might be interested in it, although I might play some trials but they never really have games I'd be too interested in available for trial).

The other downside I noticed is that all the games are digital, so you can't really keep downloading all of them or you'll run out of space. You have to delete some that you don't play anymore, but they'll still be available for free download if you want to go back to them, it's just an inconvenience. And apparently they have a feature where you can put your game saves on their online storage, so that would save some space.

Something that's kind of a downside for me is that it makes me want to get a PS Vita because otherwise I can't play a lot of the free games you get. And Playstation Plus is also probably going to make me get a PS4 near release rather than September of 2014, when I would otherwise be getting it.

It's a bit weird, I know, but I feel it's a good new addition to my sig.

I always forget about the download times for games. I've been waiting for the PSN update to play Hitman: Absolution, but now that the update is up, it'll take at least like 7 hours to download and install it.

Well, guess I'll be able to play it some other day, anyway.

I remember I could only get The Last of Us when I did because my father used to work with someone that now works at a store they sell video games.

I hate when games aren't in stock regularly, it's the biggest reason I wasn't even going to try to get Fire Emblem: Awakening when it came out despite all the good things I heard about it. I heard that it was hard to find, which would make it impossible to find in Canada, because all games are harder to find here. I finally got Fire Emblem: Awakening recently (and even then the store only had 1 copy left when I got it) and it's probably my favorite game in a long time now.

Yeah, that's one of the sucky things about Canada I guess,I'd rather live here than in America though.
