So in Wisconsin the Brewers made an epic comeback and I ate too much fried fair food. That's about it. And back here I missed:

Catching up on a couple things from a little earlier.

Sleeping Dogs was a really good game, especially amazing considering I never even heard of it until getting it free with Playstation Plus, it doesn't even really sound like the kind of game I'd be too interested in when you describe it, but I've played and watched it be played for many hours now.

As for The Last of Us, I thought the first few hours were easily the better part of the game.

So I'm testing out this allergy medicine, I'm going to my friends pool in half an hour, hopefully I don't explode.

What are you talking about? All you did was follow Tess around, and you had yet to unlock the majority of the weapons and craftable items. Plus, the story had barely even kicked in, which is the main point of the game

I don't get the majority opinion on stories in general. I've played games that everyone thought the story was terrible that I found better than most stories. And then there's games like The Last of Us, which apparently is supposed to be a story-driven game, but I found the story somewhat below average overall. I found the gameplay a bit better than the story, but that didn't really stand out that much either.

And things got repetitive after the first few hours. I know there's the argument that virtually every game ever is repetitive, but to me some of them just don't feel that way, The Last of Us did though. Also, the only really likeable character in the whole game dies in the first 20 minutes or so.

Well there's your problem. You didn't like the story because you didn't like any of the characters.

That could definitely be a big part of it. I mean, I didn't really dislike many of the characters, but I didn't really like them either.

What time does the Playstation Store usually update anyway? Is it just completely random or is there some kind of trend or time I can expect there to be an update? Found out Hitman: Absolution would be free this update, which is partially bad because I've seen a whole playthrough of the game assuming I would never play it because I had no intention of buying it, but also good because it seemed like it could be a fun game. Also, the DLC on Sound Shapes will be on sale, even though I haven't played that game in a while I want to take advantage of that too. I mean, I still have the $20 card from when I screwed up by thinking the store updated on Monday.

Apparently it's around 5pm Pacific Time, so that would be around 8 for us. Although it's not like an exact time, so it could be a bit earlier or later

I'm considering purchasing play station plus with my excess money,is it any good let me rephrase that, are the features you get with it worth the cost?

From what I can tell, yeah. You get tons of free games and discounts and whatnot. Just make sure you have a big enough hard drive, because you'll likely be downloading tons of stuff. But also know that if your subscription ends, you lose all the free stuff you downloaded, and you'll have to continue your subscription to get it back
