Just a comment from a poster on a MLBTR Phillies article.

It's a horrible trade.

If the Phillies trade Utley...It better be to the Astros or Rangers for a boatload of prospects. By that, I mean Martin Perez, Neil Ramirez, Rougned Odor, and C.J. Edwards. Otherwise, it makes no sense to trade away one of the faces of the franchise like that. I'd strongly consider retiring if I was about to be dealt away like that.

One of my Rock Band drumsticks broke while I was playing earlier today. I don't even know what to believe in anymore.

I haven't had a drumstick break, but I've gone through about 3 foot pedals for that game. >_>

Some tough contract negotiations going on with Vicente right now. What do the conditions when deciding to sign with a team effect? Is there some negative consequences if you don't meet them, or is it just something they want out of you?

I would probably be going to the Angels if they didn't have the expectation of 20 wins in the contract. I mean, I won the Triple Crown last year and didn't even meet that goal.

How would you guys recommend I achieve high top spd.? I'm gonna try Jose Fernandez again and it'll likely have to be 99.
I want to do the Sittch arc but avoid getting an ORIG since none of them fit Fernandez.

Make sure to catch the thieves in a timely manner, do Marvin's vicinage arc (the one that ends with him giving you a ton of items), do the Steak arc to acquire both stamina and cash, do Sittch's glove event (choosing "I didn't drop either") for a free glove, and load up on glove waxes.

And you have to lift, bro.

I'll keep that in mind. Isn't the Marvin's vicinage arc random?

also, I should pick "Power" upgrade, I'm assuming. And can you only reload up to 80 mph to start?

You can trigger the first event of Marvin's vicinage arc by going there when no one's there. Doing it early in the game pretty much guarantees it'll finish by the time you're done.

What are you saying about a "Power" upgrade?

I see. You meant do Weight training, right? All this time I'd been doing TopSpd. practice.

What I was saying about Power is at the beginning, when you choose appearance/delivery/team and etc., it lets you choose manual or auto upgrading - I would choose Auto and then Power (as opposed to All-Around/Finesse/etc). After he wasn't working out too well, I retried and went for Manual.

Yeah, combining Weight and Accuracy seems to be more efficient that Top Speed practice. Might just be me though.

And I always do manual upgrades.

Yes, I also find top speed practice less efficient.

And I've never tried auto, but I'd say do manual if you are trying to get certain stats.

Strange, I thought it'd be the other way around. Power for TopSpd, Finesse for Stam, the other for Ctrl..
