My first year I didn't make the All-Star team so I didn't get Darryl or Jacob. I got approached my Michael after the last game of the season, not sure if it automatically triggered because negotiations were coming up and I only had Matthew still.

I've had good luck with both Matthew and Darryl, with Jacob being pretty much worthless (every time I've tried him the offer he's gotten back is less than what I was already making) and Michael being consistently less than Darryl and Matthew.

At the end of 2014 I actually did end up using Jacob though. I was checking the differences between agents, and as usual the offer Jacob came back with was a 25-30% pay cut despite my all-world season stats. So I declared free agency, and then in week 2 of F/A negotiations the Rangers doubled their offer from $14.2 to 5 years x $28.5 so I went ahead and took it and didn't worry about going back to get the same thing or the full $30.0 from Matthew or Darryl.

I use Daryl, and after two seasons, I have earned 1,270,000. I have broken every hits record except for Home Runs, so I'm pretty mad.

It's a shame, but from what everyone has been saying, the number of years you've played have a huge bearing on the size of the contract you can get. It's very rare (maybe impossible) for a player to get over $4mil a year after just 2 years no matter what kind of stats they put up. Just keep improving and putting up numbers and in a couple years you'll be making max contract.

After my first year and winning the World Series I got a 2mil contract. I'll see if I can get 3mil+ by the end of this season.

You should be well on your way. If you're already at $2mil it should jump quite a bit if you can match your numbers or do better.

These were my stats at the end of my first year. .446 AVG, 72 homers, 31 SB, 131 Rbis.

These are my stats in my current year (the year after that). .401 AVG, 30 homers, 56 Ris, and 26 SB. It is 6/10/2009 at the moment. So I think I will match those stats or be close to matching them.
