Everything was going perfectly fine but then in September the pitchers are throwing crazy like Sittch. I didn't adjust the settings or anything. What happened? This is my first year.

I think the difficulty goes up if you're over-performing. It happened to me, too.

Yeah I was htting .536 with 67 homers and 134 Rbis. Now all my abilities are stats are going down

They may have started scouting you, makes it much tougher.

Yep, I think the game did that because you were doing TOO good.

Any time you see "my level has increased" or the scouting messages, the game ramps the difficulty a little higher, opponents get luckier and have better form and your guys get more unlucky and worse form (have you noticed the smiley faces on your side seem all sad while they're all happy?... maybe they signed Marvin to the bench...)

Now the game is getting too hard. I can't get a hit at all.

Yeah, on the abilities thing with the triangle it is at "A" right now.

Me too, you gotta adjust to them. If they start moving back, then bunt it, if they move in, power it, if they go left, tip it to the right with the cursor, and vice-versa for the right, hit it left.

I was hitting over 500 with my player and I just realized why. I set the pitching to powerful but the fielding by accident to the worst possible. Most of his hits would have been caught if the fielding wasn't so slow. That's why he had 50 steals in late may haha, slow catcher.

I've gotten used to it now.

haha, this "feature" makes me want to die. i was completely dominating as a closer up to the all-star break, with like 50 K's and 28 saves.

After the break, my motivation went to crap (purple crying face for 2 straight weeks) and everyone started homering off me, not to mention jhonny peralta booting routine plays in the field. it's really, really frustrating.

Gotta love those slumps. In the previous season, I was able to avoid prolonged ones and managed to hit over .400. This year I hit a month long slump dropping my average 90 points. Very painful. Bad for my heart rate and bad on my controller (lots of short flights around my room).

I hit .576, but with only 6 HR
