lol I have a day off anyway today for teacher planning. Our Senior Skip Days got kind of screwed when two days in a row got cancelled for flooding. Lots of seniors had to come to school anyway to catch up on reviews for AP tests or to take tests that got rained out.

The main difference in The Show that I notice (apart from the graphics difference), from playing both games on the same days is that in The Show, it's way easier to get struck out and get strikeouts.

In The Show on a competitive difficulty my record for strikeouts by a pitcher in a game is likely 17, whereas in Power Pros I wouldn't be surprised if it was less than 3, not counting overpowered success players, but probably still under 10 if you do count them.

The thing is, I could be so aggressive and swing at everything in Power Pros because, A. The pitches were almost always strikes, and B. It was much easier to track the ball. It seems as though every pitch that comes out of the pitchers hand could be a strike, so I find myself swinging at foolish pitches. Hopefully the more I play, the easier it gets. But after only playing Power Pros for nearly 5 years, that may take a while.

Ok, since I'm starting my Pirates log on Friday (after my AP exam), I thought I'll try what D-Tigers did with some fictional players added in.
