So I'm failing in AAA with another SP in Success. July Week 2 and he's at 86/C/A, RISP4/LHB4/GdReflexes/GdPickoff/Release4/Recovery4, CB(4), CHG (3), ORIG FORK (1), and $2824. Plus Surprise Bag, Discount Coupon, and one more Shiny Fragrance. Eval is somewhat close but I'm even closer to becoming a starter in AAA. Don't know how I didn't get to a starter earlier, but whatever. I'm at the point where there's about 2 games left before I don't start against Gil and then they say I'm not good enough.

What to do...

Hope and pray for the coach to come? That's all I can think of. Maybe a little save/reload as well.

The only thing I can think of is to buy Glove Waxes to push my top spd up to at least 90, plus Prince's Necklace to maybe get at least to starter (then get a chance to pitch one more game at the least), and also hope that Bison gives me Gambler + etc so I can up my CB to 5.

Then practice and get to starter.. hopefully further. I hope something works.

EDIT: Ah, I got it. I had to do fielding (he was already D/D so I didn't want to) as that's what coach wanted. Just got to SP in time for the Galaxy Sharks and pitched a complete-game shutout.

Yep, got it done. Lost 1-0 in the championship game because I couldn't score with runners in scoring position - my guy pitched very well.

Prediction reminded me about Baseball Mogul. Playing 2013 now (wish I could buy it) in place of my OOTP whose save was lost the day after I bought it. Need to find the server key or whatever to be able to play it again.

Got OOTP working again.

Making some trades in Spring Training, putting some vets on the block. I was offered Jemile Weeks for Polanco (this is 2012 rosters) and I extended it to Sogard and Weeks for Orr and Polanco. Not sure what I'd do for 3B in the meantime but I guess a FA/trade could solve that.

What do you guys think?

Accepted that and now I'm considering Andres Blanco, BJ Rosenberg, MR Hector Navis, OF Peter Lavin, and MR Jesen Dygestile-Therrien (4 * potential, who knew?) for Jose Altuve and Josh Zeid (former Philly relief prospect).

Now Worley and Laynce Nix for Revere, Parmelee, and Aaron Thompson. Heh.

I like both trades, just wondering what year you're in. Heh, maybe you should make a log about mogul '13 or OOTP. Would be interesting to read.

I do too, Prediction. We're one day before the 2012 season and those'll go through in a few days game-wise.

I might later, I don't know. With my other going on one would get put under the rug so OOTP stuff will probably just be held to General Chat.

So...

I had a baseball game today. I was playing first base. It was the first inning and there was a foul popup. I sprinted for it and thought I had a good chance at catching it. I slid for it trying to catch it but ended up smacking my knees on the wooden base of the fence. I didn't end up catching it either as it just barely went over the fence foul...

Now my knees are in miserable pain and have swollen up quite a bit.

Moral of the Story: Don't hustle

But really, I almost had it too... I did come back later in the game though, which probably wasn't a good idea because I ended up sliding into second base after getting a base hit in the last inning.
