It's some fake player, I guess... even I thought it was real at first. Thought Primetime University was some nickname...

Well, A. It's totally fake. Even someone with no understanding of football should know that (just look at the date it was posted), and B. It's fairly common, especially when the pick is sorta obvious. For example, in 2009 (I think it was) the Dolphins announced their selection of Jake Long a week or two in advance because he filled a position they were very weak in. Last year, the Colts had to decide between two players of the same position, yet still announced their choice a day before the draft

Nah, cooldude, it was an April Fools joke on the NFL's website. It was based on a fake player (who a former famous player portrayed) and there was a commercial made based on him being picked.

And Ryan Braun.

Don't feel bad cooldude, I didn't get it either, and I think I have a basic understanding of football.

How fast things change - Darvish is perfect against Houston going into the 7th. Could we see one on Opening Day? That would be something.

I'm pretty sure Darvish would be the first Japanese pitcher to throw a perfect game, I think Hideo Nomo threw a no-hitter once.

Edit: Well darn, Darvish pulled a Brandon Morrow, bottom of the ninth, 2 outs, bam! Single up the middle, oh well. He has a career to do it.

And...5-holed with 2 outs in the 9th.

It is kind of funny to see just how wrong those lists get to be once the prospects actually start playing.

Even the best prospect lists seem to wind up horribly off half the time after a few years.

Hard to believe Matsuzaka was ever at the top of a list of players like that.

It's a long season, but the Phillies aren't looking good whatsoever these first two games. I'm predicting an Atlanta sweep. *sigh*

It doesn't build a fan's confidence when two of our supposed "Big 3" have been blasted by the first inning. As if Halladay didn't already have some uncertainty towards him. My thought at this point is that the Braves and Nationals will simply be better than us this year, again. Whatever.

Halladay isn't what he used to be. I'll give you that. But you can't lose confidence in Hamels after one start.

Anyways, it's a long season ahead for my Yanks and Cubs, so I won't speculate just yet.
