Hornets lose in heartbreaker.

The Hornets were beaten in a very close match, losing to the mets 2-1. As SP File was in purple condition, Lundberg was called up, he pitched very well in 7 innings but gave up 2 runs and was credited with the loss.

Caceres out, Votto in.

The Hornets have traded recently injured swingman Caceres, SP Chan Ho Park and 1 million dollars in funds to the Reds for SP Cueto and 1B Votto, this gives us room to move Abraham or Duran says the GM of the Hornets. Many predict a trade involving Duran as Abraham is putting up near MVP numbers with a .360 batting average, 3 homeruns and 21 RBI, the two will be called up from AAA. Cueto will join the rotation.

Hornets not done dealing, trade with Angels.

The Hornets have traded RP Moran and 3B Duran for Darren O'Day and outfielder Willits. Darren will be called up from AAA to fill the empty roster spot and Willits will be called up in place of Lombard, who has a .167 AVG this year. We reached GM Clyde McFloyd on this deal.

"It's sad to see Duran go, he had B power man! But with the recent acquisition of Joey Votto, we had to let someone go, we wish him luck with the Angels. Also, another thing, due to Suarez developing B stamina, he has been chosen to fill in the gap in our rotation! Darren O'Day will be our new closer and F. Hernandez will still setup for him."

The Hornets are now on a 3 game winning streak after beating the Rockies 7-6, it looked like an easy game until the 7th when the Rockies got 5 runs when Lozano blew it on 2 outs, Cueto had to leave in the second and will be reduced to relief work due to his lack of stamina. Suarez made an emergency appearance even though he was pitching the next game as the bases were loaded in the bottom of the ninth but was his dominant self and threw a perfect inning.

(Sorry for putting the story at the bottom, I upload most of the box scores from my iPad and that's how I write the score and news in my Notes app.)

(Also, I feel like playing all of this series but I wanted to get the trade out there, so I'll upload the other 2 games in a different post, like the trades?)

I like the trades!

I also do my log updates on the Notes app on my iPhone. It's far more convenient than hauling my laptop back and forth or constantly shuttling info by hand to put into my computer downstairs (my Wii is upstairs).

The Hornets have won their fourth consecutive game and have guaranteed a series win against the Rockies, Suarez had a dominating performance even though he pitched the other day, he had 11 strikeouts and only 1 hit given up in 6 and 1/3 shutout innings. The bats were also on fire this game, mentionables being Joey Votto, Junge, Reggie Willits and Abraham who respectively had 4 hits in 6 at bats, 5 hits in 6 at bats, 6 hits in 6 at bats and 3 hits in in 6 at bats. Reggie Willits also had 4 stolen bases.

Catch the Hornets tomorrow as they go for the series sweep!

The Hornets have swept the Rockies and scored in double digits for the second game in a row, just like the last game it looked like a blow out until some pitching ruined it, the Rockies were down 10-5 in the ninth and looked like they were going to lose but scored a mammoth 4 runs against closer Darren O'Day, but he hung on and got the Hornets their 5th win in a row, Reggie Willits again displayed that his trade to New Orleans was well placed, hitting a perfect 5-5 again, with his last 11 at bats all having hits.

In an entirely different outing, the Hornets have gotten their 6th consecutive win in a row in a pitchers duel, the Marlins didn't score until the top of the 9th when Darren O'Day blew another save, however the offence redeemed him as Basner hit a walkoff double to finish off the game and get Darren his 2nd win of the year.

The New Orleans Hornets have won their 7th consecutive game in a row, downing the Marlins 6-4, in this game, Marlins pitcher Waechter had his debut , we reached him in the clubhouse.

"Good, to get debut of out way, I think good start, hornets very good team, hopefully I win next time."

We also had Asian reporter Tricia Takanawa talk to Suarez about his use in and out of the bullpen.

"I feel as if the team doesn't know exactly where I should be, we got CP Darren O'Day but he has been struggling, I'd prefer the rotation but if closing is where I should be, so be it."

Lozano and Cannon have been sent down to AAA, them birds don't know nothing! The Hornets just can't seem to lose as they're now at 8 consecutive, they swept the marlins on a great outing by Truby, whom gave up no runs. Although Suarez was scheduled to pitch the game of their next series he was put into the game to save, many think manager Clyde McFloyd did this as he was at less than 1/2 green bars. Spot starter File will more than likely pitch that game, you can catch that on TV Network NST, the official broadcaster of the New Orleans Hornets.

The Hornets are on fire and can't be put out, they won their ninth game in a row in an extra innings match, Darren O'Day blew his 3rd save opportunity in 4 tries and thus, went into extra innings, it was tied until the 12th when the Rockies scored two runs. The Hornets matched that and then won on a walkoff double by Abraham, the Hornets 3rd walkoff of the year.

The Hornets have lost and ended their winning streak due to what we deem "the worst outing in MLB history." Lundberg gave up 6 runs in the first 5 innings and all of the runs in the 5th were on two outs, we reached GM Clyde McFloyd on this.

"Well, after seeing the worst outing in MLB history, we've decided to part ways with Lundberg, we don't even care if he has a 3 Slider and a 3 forkball, once you have the worst outing in MLB history you're out. Also it turns out he will be out for 17 days, so that gives us even more of a reason to release him, see ya, Loseberg. His brother Sandberg will stay on the team. One last note, to take his spot in the rotation, we've signed Chuck James to a one year $390,000 contract."

Most analysts on the NST Network would've fired Lundberg too.

(Turns out I can't release injured players, I will once he's back.)

The Hornets beat the Rockies resulting in a series win, Sandberg, the other Berg brother pitched a solid 1 run 5 innings and then handed the ball to Grimm who gave up no runs, Darren O'Day, whom is prone to blowing leads was given the ball in the ninth and pitched a perfect inning. We reached him after the game.

"Glad that I got my stuff back in order, been working on my control in practice and it seems to be working. I'm pretty bugged that Lundberg is to be released after his injury as we were really hitting it off, hopefully he'll find his stroke with another team and we can cross paths once more."

The bats were booming today in the Hornets 6-5 victory against the Astros, both teams combined for a total 29 hits. Most impressive for two teams that were projected to be last in their division. Clapinski threw a 5 inning gem but got a no-decision when Grimm gave up 5 runs to let the Astros tie it up in 2 innings.

Breaking news, GM Clyde McFloyd has traded 2B Conti and 1 million dollars in funds to the Twins for Scott Baker and Boof Bonser, we have him on Skype as usual.

"These additions were great, Scott Baker is a bonafide ace on most teams, including ours, Bonser is just icing on the cake, both guys will join the rotation, Conti has no upside, but the teams we were shopping him with thought he did. Bonser will be called up from AAA in place of Reggie Willits who was sadly injured in the previous game. Also, Joey Votto will be called up in place of Abraham, who is in purple condition."

It is assumed Scott Baker will pitch the next game against the Astros which you can catch right here on NST.

The Hornets are clearly one of the most dominant teams in the league as they put away the Nationals for a 6-4 victory, giving Jeroloman his first win of the year. Darren O'Day has gotten back on track, getting another save for the Hornets, his second of the year.

The Hornets won their first series against the nationals, Adam Jones was very impressive going 3-5 with a homer and 2 ribbies. Newly acquired Scott Baker also pitched in this game, throwing a solid 6 1/3 innings giving up 4 runs, the offence redeemed him however scoring 7 runs, all in the first 3 innings, we reached Baker after the game.

"I'm really glad to be in New Orleans, my family lives in a town around 45 minutes from here so it's really nice to be around my dad and mom, I'm actually going there after I shower and what-all, anyways, my performance was pretty solid, glad I have this great offence behind me. Hey, did you guys see Adam's dinger? I hear it went 500 feet!"

Hornets sign (register) SP James Panther.

The New Orleans hornets have registered rookie James Panther, he played for the golden apples last year but recieved no major league contracts, he will join the rotation. He will be called up in place of Clapinski, who is in purple condition. Cueto will also be sent down to AAA in place of Lozano.

(Panther is ma homeboy success guy, signed him for 3 million, we'll see what he wants in the offseason.)

New Orleans wins again due to an incredible 3rd inning from the bats, and an incredible 8 innings from James Panther, who only gave up 5 hits and fanned 8. An excellent outing from someone who wasn't even getting minor league contracts, we skyped him after his game.

Translater: "James says that he did really good and is glad to play for a contender like the Hornets, he likes offence and likes pitching, he says he wants to be ace."

Well after that outing, it's hard to say no!

New Orleans is on fire, again....winning their 6th consecutive, Boof Bonser pitched a solid 7 innings giving up 3 runs on route to his 5th victory. Joey Votto was amongst the most dominant today, one homerun away from the cycle, while belting out 3 RBIS.
