I've been having a lot of fun with my Astros franchise in MLB 13. I started by creating three mid-90's guys (Jose Medrano, Charlie Huff, and a power-hitting 1B) so we wouldn't be quite as awful. I made a couple moves in the first season, the biggest one being a deal for Coco Crisp. We were sitting at around 55-65 when we went on an absolute tear, winning 13 straight games and pulling within six of the second wild card spot. We ultimately finished 83-79, much better than I originally expected. Then, in 2014, with the team ranked at 21st overall, nearly every returning player played worse than the year before, and we finished at 70-92. In the meantime, I bolstered the bullpen (which was struggling mightily) with trades for Al Albuquerque and some other guy whose name I can't recall. Included in the Albuquerque deal was Drew Smyly, who I immediately converted to a starter. Now, it's 2015, and the team is 33-29. We're officially ranked 16th, and the team finally seems to be getting on the right track.
