Do you guys wear batting gloves? I never have, but I know most people do... but I'm too cheap to buy a pair. Just wondering if I should break down and buy a pair. I'm on varsity this year, but that's because we have 12 players total. It's not like basketball where I actually earned the spot. I'm pretty average at baseball, and am pretty much just aiming to not make a fool of myself. :lol: I'm scared!

Take some swings at some of your team's pitchers so you can get a feel for what it's like to hit a ball at that level. If it hurts your hands or you have trouble holding onto the bat, gloves would be a good idea.
