Yeah, those look good. But if you feel like you're using Navy too much, you could change the Indians to red or somethin

I was thinking changing the Mets to blue and maybe the Diamondbacks to a darker red.

Robert and Kayla arrived at the airport that evening after the draft, with the young GM still fuming over having drafted a player from North Korea, when his scouting files said that he was from South Korea. Eventually, Kayla calmed him down enough for him to get on the plane.

"OK, so maybe you should've gone for the other player...I didn't know he was from North Korea, either," Kayla said, "look, I think we can deal with this together, I mean, North Koreans aren't THAT bad, right?"

Robert sighed. "I guess you're right. It's just that they have that stereotype formed by American media that they want to blow up the U.S."

"Robert, almost everyone that's against us wants to drop a nuke on us," Kayla interjected.

"Eh, I don't think it's gonna happen for a while," Robert said, "how the heck did we get on a political tangent just now?"

"I don't know, Robbie, blame the author. I guess he wanted to make a point or something about stereotypes. Not sure why he wanted to do that..."

"Author? What author?"

"Who was that?" Robert asked.

"Nobody."

"Huh, that was weird." Robert said, confused, and then remembered something that Kayla said earlier in their sidetracked conversations. "Kayla," he said, "when you say 'deal with this together,' what exactly do you mean by that?" When Robert said that, Kayla went dead silent.

And it remained that way for a good deal of time.

"Uhh...Kayla, you OK?" Robert asked concerningly, "You look like you need to find a bathroom."

"No, no, I'm fine," Kayla said. Now, Robert was no expert on women (just ask Dan Potter), but he knew one thing: when a girl says that they are fine when they look like they aren't, that's a complete and udder lie.

"Kayla, what's up? You're clearly not fine," Robert said to the pale-faced teenager sitting next to him, "you can tell me anything. You know I care for your well-being, so you can tell me anything."

"You sure?"

"Positive. Now, what's up?"

"Well," Kayla started, her voice wobblier than Robert had ever heard it, "m-my p-parents passed away j-just a few days ag-g-go." Now, the waterworks were coming from her eyes, "I'm so scared, Robbie! I want them back, but I know I'll never get to see them again!"

"Oh my god," Robert gapsed, "that's terrible!" Now he knew why Kayla was in Vancouver to begin with; her parents were up there in age, and she didn't have any grandparents left, which made family life a bit of a struggle. "Is there anything I can do to help?" Robert asked.

"Yes, there is," Kayla said, still sobbing, "I want to be with you. At least for this season, but I want to be with you."

With that bombshell of a statement, the plane landed in Vancouver, and Robert replied to that statement.

"You know you'll be getting Dan, as well. I will certainly accept your offer."

With a heavy heart, both went their separate ways, and Robert got there just in time for the first game against the Cubs.

Yep, even though he had the injury, MRIs are negative, and he'll be day-to-day. I'll rest him for the next couple games, just to have that injury time to heal.

I won't be updating this for a couple more days, since I want to try out a new roster I downloaded in my MLB 2K12 game and file an application for a scholarship to a local community college, but while you wait for a new update (hopefully on Saturday), here's the latest standings as of the end of the Cubs series:

Place --- Team --- Record --- GB

AMERICAN LEAGUE EAST

1. Vancouver Mendenhals - 51-14 - --
2. New York Yankees - 38-27 - 13 GB
T-3. Tampa Bay Rays - 32-33 - 19 GB
T-3. Baltimore Orioles - 32-33 - 19 GB
T-5. Toronto Blue Jays - 29-36 - 22 GB
T-5. Boston Red Sox - 29-36 - 22 GB

AMERICAN LEAGUE CENTRAL

1. Detroit Tigers - 35-30 - --
2. Chicago White Sox - 30-35 - 5 GB
T-3. Kansas City Royals - 29-36 - 6 GB
T-3. Minnesota Twins - 29-36 - 6 GB
5. Cleveland Indians - 26-39 - 9 GB

AMERICAN LEAGUE WEST

1. Charlotte Chargers - 48-17 - --
2. Texas Rangers - 32-33 - 16 GB
3. Seattle Mariners - 30-35 - 18 GB
4. Los Angeles Angels - 25-40 - 23 GB
5. Oakland A's - 23-42 - 25 GB

NATIONAL LEAGUE EAST

1. Washington Nationals - 43-22 - --
2. Philadelphia Phillies - 36-29 - 7 GB
3. New York Mets - 32-33 - 11 GB
4. Miami Marlins - 31-34 - 12 GB
5. Atlanta Braves - 26-39 - 17 GB

NATIONAL LEAGUE CENTRAL

1. St. Louis Cardinals - 44-21 - --
2. Pittsburgh Pirates - 40-25 - 4 GB
3. Cincinnati Reds - 32-33 - 12 GB
T-4. Houston Astros - 31-34 - 13 GB
T-4. Milwaukee Brewers - 31-34 - 13 GB
6. Chicago Cubs - 25-40 - 19 GB

NATIONAL LEAGUE WEST

1. Los Angeles Dodgers - 32-33 - --
2. San Francisco Giants - 31-44 - 1 GB
3. San Diego Padres - 30-35 - 2 GB
T-4. Colorado Rockies - 29-36 - 3 GB
T-4. Arizona Diamondbacks - 29-36 - 3 GB

Only a couple of these divisions have tight races, the NL West being the one most up for grabs. We'll see what the standings look like again, after the All-Star Break.

Hmm, just a hunch, but the Mendenhals might be too good. Just a tad

I wouldn't have guessed that looking at the players ratings at the beginning of the season.
