I haven't enjoyed having to walk in and do an essay for two separate classes within this week - I'm just not a good on-the-spot writer. My opinion is, I'll do better if I'm given time to write an essay so why make me do it under pressure. Whatever.

I wouldn't say I've had exams but midterms/benchmarks are in progress, with more coming up next week and some already done. We're coming up on the end of the second marking period so there's that plus a lot of projects that are due by the end of the month. Can't say I'm looking forward to the second half, even though my grades have improved in a lot of classes.

Also I found out today that we don't have to take an NJ ASK-type end-of-the-year test until junior year (the HSPA), the first time we've not had a big final since probably second grade. I wonder what we'll do in place of that in March/April.

Again, why does ESPN even cover hockey if the majority of their audience doesn't care?

They cover all sports. And, take that poll in the playoffs and it'll be different.

Hell, they air NASCAR races. I doubt too many people care about that, but they still cover it.

Yes. Coaches should be interviewed because they look like good candidates for the job, not because the team is required to have one minority interviewed.
