Same here. Though it wouldn't be too high right now.

I used to get paid for grades back in elementary school. Ten cents for every A. With 10 classes I got $1 every semester.

All I need to pass this semester is Physics. All I need now is to get at least a 4% on the Physics exam to pass it.

So close... If I screw this up now I might as well just give up.

I got to miss school today because the basketball team (along with soccer) is in Oklahoma to play a couple of conference games. We're getting demolished, though, so...

We're starting badminton today in PE and my team for our tournament is me and another lefty. We're the Southpaws!

I got my registration for Sophomore year today. I think I'm gonna take English II (Honors), Pre-Calculus, Chemistry (Honors), and AP World History. I'm not quite sure about my electives though. I'll probably pick Culinary II for my Fine Arts credit, but I'm unsure after that. I was going to pick AP Psychology and Film Studies, but they made those Junior and Senior classes only.

We took a quiz last week in English based on the characters in the first four chapters of To Kill a Mockingbird. And despite only reading though chapter 1 and about half of chapter 2, I was the only 100 in the class. My face was one of complete bewilderment...

We had a quiz on the first half of the book a few weeks ago, and even though I read only about a few chapters, I found it to be really easy, to my surprise. A quick read of the first half on Sparknotes was enough for me to understand most of the questions - I thought I would fail because there would be important stuff I missed, but nope, it felt like it was based on the first few chapters with a few quotes mixed in (some of which you could obviously tell who said them).

If it's not at least 10 °C warmer on Friday I might just have to skip that exam and take the zero. It's not worth it.

As good as I can figure, my first semester math grade is somewhere between 89.89% and 89.96%.

So in all likelihood, there goes my 4.0.
