I got Battler on my pitcher when I finished Frank's storyline.

Wha exactly does Gd/Pr Sense do? It says "abilities increase quickly/slowly" but what does it mean? Does it mean less experience necessary for upgrades? Or something else?

for good sense, for example, you need like 4 points to increase power instead of 5 points to start

Answered it yourself. Good Sense makes it cheaper, Poor Sense makes it more expensive.

So if you get a player with good starting stats that has poor sense, can you just bank the experience points until you (hopefully) improve his sense during the Success Mode and then apply them at the lower rate? Or does it not allow you to do that? I guess the real question would be: Does the experience needed to boost stats go up with the timetable (Year/Month/Week), or the level of statistics you have improved to (i.e. Contact E or Contact B) during Success Mode?

Yes, but you take the risk that you don't get that in time to make the roster at the earliest moment because your stats show you "suck" Also, if you are an unfortunate pitcher without any breaking balls, your first game will consist of 1 pitch, a 75mph Fastball.

The real math formula hasn't been set, but it does appear that costs depend solely on your level.

i got battler when i caught the glove thief after 4 weeks, as well as an SoP, and a bunch of items.

I have Pr Sense. How do I get Gd Sense?

from frank, i think ive heard you could get it from goodjob too. probably some other RE's as well.

I got rid of it by going to one of Sitch's trainings. (The 3rd one with the Cicada shell)

I got the "Refined" skill in July/August of AAA with a Secrets of Hitting book when i already had most of the other abilities;

contact and power hitter, spray hitter, push hitter, hot hitter, tough out, great infield hitter, good B2B hitter, firstball hitter, table setter and rally hitter.

you can always get refined from a SoH, its not dependent on whether you have some ailties or not.

I think it makes it more likely though.
