Is the Ultimate bat better in any way then a regular bat or sponsor bat etc? Do they boost your stats or give you any abilities?

i think it increases the durabilty of the equipment. Ive had the ultimate glove for 3 or 4 years without it breaking.

And does increasing your level change what is in the shop. [Bigger level-Better stuff?]

I've noticed that sponsor equipment lasts longer than regular.

I find that the ultimate glove and spikes are well worth it. I've had them for at least 3 years. I don't bother with the bat because the sponsor ones are free and last pretty long anyway. The sponsor glove/ spikes may last 1 1/2 years.

I'm pretty sure the shop inventory changes each pay day (25th).
