Barely. It was 17-14 at the half, and both teams played solid D in the second half, scoring a combined 3 points (Stanford) to give Stanford a hard-fought 20-14 win.

I knew Wisconsin was gonna lose, what I was more shocked at was the Northern Illinois University was in a major bowl game

When you have the 7th place finisher in Heisman voting you tend to be in a good bowl game.

My PS3 seems to be turning itself on, either that or I'm forgetting to turn it off.

Either way, it and my computer were both running for my entire vacation.

You know, somewhere in the settings for the PS3, you can have it turn off after an hour or two of inactivity. I have that set on. Super useful.

Also, yesterday, despite me having no way of playing it, I bought the vinyl of Discovery by Daft Punk. Easily the best purchase I've made all year.

Then why would you buy it?

To have the satisfaction of owning a legitimate Daft Punk album, why else?

To have it as a collectible, that would be my guess.

It's going to be a really interesting offseason for the Eagles.
