So I was in the first round of playoffs in my money league with my older bro this week, against my division rival (playing him for the third time after we split the season series). I trailed him by a decent margin heading into Monday, with me just having my TE left and him having his TE and kicker. I was ruing the decision to start Andy Dalton over Matt Ryan, pondering driving up to Philadelphia to murder Bryce Brown (not really), but was planning to send a gift basket to Jamaal Charles (also not really) as my season ended...

So I advanced to the semifinals, which means that a win against probably the weakest team left in playoffs guarantees me money (at the moment, $154 for 2nd or $283 for 1st!). I've learned my lesson about starting studs during playoffs (as well as trusting my hunches, because I /knew/ I should have gone Ryan), and my team is looking pretty good right now, so... we'll see what goes down, but yeah, I just need one win in the next 2 weeks to get money, and I'm really happy that my season in this league has turned out so well, especially because everyone else is about 10 years older than me or so.

Brown absolutely exploded the previous two weeks (178 and 169 yards and 2 TD's both weeks), so I figured I'd ride his hot streak, especially since SJax's yardage totals have been down. Jackson did only get 64 yards on the ground and not even a point for receiving, but that TD gave him a solid score whilst Brown ended up bombing in a bad way.

Oh, and one more thing before I hit the sack...Reds acquire Choo from the Indians in a 3-team swap involving the D-Backs.

I really liked Choo, too.

But the Diamondbacks got so hosed in that trade it's kinda funny.
