I have not played Black or White 2, and barely played White (waste of $60+...), so I'm just going from general knowledge. The main difference between the two games are version-exclusive pokemon to choose from. There are other slight differences, but they don't make much difference other than basic visuals

Yep, I know that there are version-exclusive Pokemon in each generation, I'm just not sure which game has the better ones, since I want to ask for one of them for Christmas.

Well, if either has a pokemon you'd consider using on your team, then you should probably go with that one. If not, then it would just go down to personal preference of which ones you like better. If it was me, I'd choose Black 2 because of Garchomp

I chose White 2 because I have Black 1 and I like Reshiram a lot better. Although I miss Stunky/Skuntank, since they're in Black 2. :<
