Just tried out my first game on All-Star difficulty, me as the Eagles (expansion team w/success players, etc.) vs Seattle, King Felix starting for them and Dontrelle Willis for me. It started off 5-1 with Felix dominating so I wasn't expecting a good game out of it. But it slowly turned into a good game and I realized it's probably the best difficulty where you'll get some wins and some losses. I was lucky to get a huge couple innings and make a comeback. It felt so rewarding when I hit the tying homer to make it 7-7 after being down for a good part of the game. I have a feeling that won't happen every game and there be some wins, some losses and it provides the best realism. I'll likely be using it when I resume my Eagles season.

Ended up losing 11-7 but even the Mariners offense gave me quite the challenge.

I'm currently doing a player in 07 using scott's guide. It's going fairly well so far, me being in March of Year 1 so far. Can't wait to see how it goes.

Second move by Ruben was finalized today - Mike Young is headed to the Phillies. For $6 mil. I guess it's an alright risk to take, hoping he'll come back to 2011 form, and he's a good clubhouse guy. Then again, I've heard he's a butcher at 3B and had the worst season of his career since 2002 in 2012 + we're giving up Lindblom (who, although he gave up plenty of homers here in Philly and could very well do the same in TEX, I think still has a good future) and this P prospect Bonilla, who had a 1.55 ERA in Single/Double A last season. For a guy who's gonna be here for one season, and isn't getting any younger, this trade again doesn't make me feel like they have enough to make the playoffs. Too many ? in Howard/Utley/Rollins/Ruf/Brown/Halladay and even if we get Hamilton (there's a slim chance that this might happen - "Josh. What's up? It's Mike. Hey I'm on the Phillies now. Waived my no-trade clause to do it. You should come. Should be fun.") he'll be a ? too. I suppose it's alright for one season and I'm glad it wasn't Diekman/Aumont/De Fratus going to Texas, lastly we save some money to possibly make another move on OF/SP/RP.
