If you saw a clip of Tommy Wiseau's acting, you'd think Keanu Reeves is a god.

My little cast was just showing that just because it is an old movie, that doesn't mean actors today are better.

Some are, sure, but there are a lot of sub par actors.

Dickey did win the Cy Young, but he's 38, would be making the league transition, and the Mets are asking for TWO top prospects! And how are you remotely happy about Gomes? We're paying him 5 million a year to take up a spot that should be occupied by Kalish, Nava, or Sweeney

The reason we got into this hell-hole was because of signing too many big free agents, and trading away a lot of our prospects. And now you think we should start doing that again? Oh lord...

Just watched TKAM again, and thought it was better than when I was eight.

Boston should stay away from all big free agents!!!! Sign players for 1 year stop gap deal,and trade ones of value at deadline.
Victorino for three years is going to be terrible,espicially since Bradley and Brentz will need somewhere to play sometime in those 3 years(Hopefully Brandon Jacobs will to). Gomes IMO is a better deal then Victorino.
How does Jacoby Ellsbury not fit your exact description of Hamilton? Im a sox fan and think Ellsbury might just be up there as most overated player in the league.
I would prefer if Hamilton goes to Seattle and Boston trades Ellsbury. Anyone else hear Schilling wish Boston would trade Ellsbury straight up for Cliff Lee?

Just gonna say this: he has no UCL and he's a knuckleballer. He could pitch as long as Satchel Paige if he keeps his skills up.

So RAJ finally made a move in getting Revere from the Twins for Vance Worley + #1 pitching prospect Trevor May.. not sure how I feel yet.



Interesting note from someone:

"OK, as someone who has seen Revere play in person allow me to contribute my thoughts:

* Speed is his game, he might be Bourn level fast

* Decent defensively, but needs to improve his route running. His speed and athleticism covers up a lot of his mistakes. Then again, he was only 24 this year, he could be elite defensively very soon

* No power at all. Pierre might have more power than him, the ball does not jump off his bat

* He seemed to play a lot better away from Target field, which seemed to be really roug on a lot of Twins hitters this year for some reason.

In summary, the Phils got a fast, cheap CF who plays good defense, steals a bunch of bases, has no power at all, but could really blossom over the next couple of years.

The Phils had to give up a lot to get him, but in this market if you can get a cost controlled CF, even for a #4 starter and a top prospect I am not sure that is an overpay. The trade makes me a bit uncomfortable from both sides, which is a sign to me that it is an equitable deal."
