I decided to put this up. It might be cool. I will talk about my practices and games in here. Others can talk about their games and practices if they want, but I am not sure how many of you play basketball. That could be a poll of the day Skittles .

Anyway in my practice today we worked on press. The offense is pretty good on the press, but I'll tell you the truth. We suck at defense. After we worked on our press, we had a scrimmage 5-5 (other team's 5th player was the coach who is probably 6'3). I got four steal, and on offense I made a three, and 2-point jump shot for 5 points. Our whole team is in the 8th grade, and I am the smallest one on the team just so you know.

Our varsity team played in a tournament Thursday and Friday. We were 2-1 including our first win on a 3-pointer as time expired, but we lost our starting center (6'5", tallest player on team) for a while with an ankle injury (sprained/may be fractured). There was terrible officiating and the bracket for the tournament was terrible as well.

Last night, we lost by 7 in OT, 49-42. I don't even think we scored in overtime. I had 5 points, dropping my ppg to about 10, after 4 games. We're 0-4, but lost two games ago by 2, and then took last night's game to overtime. We're playing pretty well, we just can't finish in the 4th quarter.

Yeah, it sucks though. And there's only 6 of us that play on varsity, and last night the other 5 all had 2 fouls at half time. I only got taken out once, for a minute in the 3rd quarter. I got tired a few times.

Today was my first basketball game. I only shot two shots, and I didn't score, but I had 8 assists, and 5 steals. Our team lost by two in OT 35-33.

Darn. Close game.

I'm number 0, and people always ask me, "What? You're number 0?" and I reply, "No, I'm letter O."

Ha, I am number 2. I wanted to be number 5, but o-well. See what I did there.

Alright, so I play both rec league and school ball. Thursday, my rec league team scrimmaged against my school team (I played for school), and we won 78-72. I scored about 40 points, and had double digits in blocks, rebounds, and assists.

Friday, I played a rec league game and scored 6 points (3-3 shooting), had 7 rebounds, 3 steals, an assist, and a block.

Today, I played a rec league game and again scored 6 points (3-5 shooting), had 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocks, and 2 fouls.

HOW LONG ARE YOUR GAMES???? 40 POINTS?

It was a scrimmage and we weren't keeping time, we just played.

Yeah. Also, in a rec league practice this past Monday, we played 4-on-4, my team won 119-112, and I scored about 60.
