Brewers have good attendance, I think... 11th in the league last season.

Things I learned from the K-Wings hockey game tonight:
-The anthem singer definitely needed the lyrics.
-The new scoreboard runs on Windows 7.
-Audio feedback is horrible.
-When you leave the game, the K-Wings magically score 3 goals when you're in the car.

I second that notion. The Tigers would NEVER get rid of Castellanos. Doesn't Schoenfeld know that Castellanos is gonna be an outfielder this season in the minors? Also, I don't think that the Reds would trade Hamilton, either.

And to clarify my previous post, basically, Murphy's Law was pretty much in full effect tonight at the hockey game I went to.

Hey Dish, how would you describe the Tigers farm system?

I would describe it in a couple of words: severely limited. We don't have that much when it comes to prospects nowadays. We got a glimpse of Garcia near the end, and he did OK, but the other people that have come up this year (Crosby, Wilk, Weber, etc.) just haven't done well. Other than the names I just described, we don't have a lot of prospects that would be good enough trade chips.

Trading Castellanos (He's the Tigers #1 prospect iirc) + Garcia for Hardy, Jim Johnson, and Troy Patton doesn't make much sense to me. The SSs being swapped is technically a wash and getting back just Johnson (when they could sign a guy like Soriano or Madson as a SU/CL) and a decent reliever like Patton for prospects like that seems stupid to me.

And the Reds giving away top prospects like Mesoraco, Hamilton and then Leake for really only Span and Willingham seems dumb too.

Actually, I don't see the Tigers signing a closer-type player this offseason. The Tigers are pretty high on minor league closer Bruce Rondon, and he could be our closer next year, but we will see.

I wouldn't say it's a wash. I'd much rather have Hardy than Peralta. Although, I'd much rather have Castellanos and Garcia than Johnson

EDIT: Well, kind of nevermind. Hardy has a much shittier average than I thought. I'd still rather have Hardy, because of power and defense, but not by as much of a margin as before

The one on the reds would be the dumbest thing they ever did if they traded away Hamilton
