I am glad to see Bench getting back on his game. I think the team as a whole could use some batting practice to get their averages up. I want everyone hitting at least .250.

I am starting to think that you are lacking a true leadoff hitter for your team and it is throwing the line up off. You really want someone at the top that will hit for a high average or can walk to get on base. Do you have Ricky Henderson on that team? He would be a perfect leadoff man.

Honolulu Greats

Now looking at the standings for the AL west, you would be like "Wow the Greats are a great team", but looking at each individual play you would be like "OK I guess I can take that...". The Greats are the best in baseball, no doubt, but this was not their best month. Last year they went undefeated in April. The only team to ever do that. I want more!

Financial wise, this team isn't looking so good. They thought they had all the money in the world when they got Big Papi for 100,000,000 dollars. That was definitely in favor of the Red Sox. The Greats have picked up quadruplets. Kip Wells are their names. They all have blood for baseball. The Greats are trying to trade them for some money. So far, no luck, but I think the Greats can get out of this.

My advice, though, would have been to keep a low salary the whole way, and only trade or pick up, good, young, cheap players, especially in the off-season FA period. That's why, when presented with the opportunity to pick up Chipper Jones, I instead got C.C. Sabathia, Orlando Hudson, and Eric Byrnes for cheaper.
