But like, properly clean it, becuase that doesn't work becuase this game disc is very scratched. I already tried getting a damp cloth or Q-Tip and wiping the disc off but it works for like 10 minutes and then dies again.

Take windex, or other window cleaner, a soft rag, and scrub that baby til it shines. (figuratively)

Right now in '08 I'm summing a season with gray-bars to see how good I can get them, year 1 my 1B won rookie of the year going .303 with 25 homers and 70-something RBIs. He had C power the whole year. I bought stamina spikes, powerful power bat, and powerful glove to help those attributes and when the fielding and power get good enough for the guys in that type of practice, the power hitters will go to run speed practice, and the fielders will go to power practice.

That seems like it would be fun to do, to see what happens.

I eternally ruined my '08 copy on Wii, I applied hair spray to fill in the scratches but when I did that the disc wouldnt even start to be read. I put so many different substances on that disc.

Yeah, toothpaste is everywhere online for best disc fixes. Peanut butter will also do the trick and bananas.

I still find it weird that you tried toothpaste (and hand soap) before scratch remover, though.
