1. I should stop reading coverage of the World Series. It's pissing me off. -_-

1. I still keep seeing writers citing rust and luck (when that luck is great defense) and it's pretty obvious a lot of them are scrambling because the vast majority of them picked the Tigers. Obviously the articles are getting a little better over time, and it's not the case for all pieces (ones about Zito's revival, or Timmy's move to the bullpen have been good), but Giants still aren't getting full credit IMO.

Part of that might come from fan bias, I'll admit, but I stand by my point. I'll go ahead and quote an article about Cabrera's and Fielder's struggles:

I think we might miss school Monday and maybe Tuesday because it's hitting us the hardest in the NJ, or really the Delaware Valley.

On the topic of Giants/Tigers -

Lastly, pretty crazy on the Thunder trade. Think it's a win-win for both sides since those two 1st-rounders + that 2nd-rounder + Jeremy Lamb could really help them in the future and K-Mart is a good replacement
for right now. On the other hand Harden could be a big piece towards the Rockets being a playoff contender.

In other news, I'm so bored! There's nothing good on TV, it's raining outside, and I can't make any Success Mode players

I don't care much about basketball, but it did seem like a pretty mutually beneficial trade to me... and I'm a Rams fan, so I'd know about those sorts of deals.

Anyway, it's Marcus Lattimore's injury if you haven't already seen it.. his career is probably over at this point. It sucks to hear stuff like that.

Yep, it's sad.

He tore all four ligaments in his knee (PCL, LCL, MCL, ACL) on top of suffering a broken femur. It didn't look terrible in real-time, or slow motion. I had to watch in frame-by-frame to really realize how bad it was
