Couldn't resist pointing out this contrast between you two. Also, Zero, talking about how the TIGERS shouldn't have made it this far when the other team is the Giants is definitely not a good move.

Personally, I haven't heard much about them being such a huge powerhouse, but even if it does exist, and even if it's on the massive scale you guys are portraying, you're hyperbolizing way too much, especially by saying that the "mainstream media" will never acknowledge that you won the World Series. That's like saying that all the Yankees' trophies are null and completely ignored by the media because they paid so much (or the Red Sox, for that matter), when that's surely not the case. Just because you guys spent money on players that deserve such contracts (esp. rather than throwing greenbacks around) doesn't make the trophy illegitimate, and it hasn't unless you're a fan of the BoSox/Yankees and the rival team won the series, in which case it's just a matter of bias. Thus, I have no clue why you guys suddenly think that because the Tigers dropped some dolla billz on guys like Miggy, Prince Fielder and Victor Martinez (who's a great catcher when he's not injured), they're being typecast as a team that makes like the Yankees (stereotypically speaking) to win championships and are being castigated for it.

Seriously, I don't want to see all this incredibly hyperbolic chatter of how your team's portrayed by the media and that you're apparently the second coming of the Evil Empire (or third, if you count the Dodgers ) when that's not the case. Just act like your team is the WELL-DESERVED favorite (which they are) and don't b**** and moan about how (a fraction of) the MEDIA is treating them.

I suppose I wasn't referring so much to the media as I was to individuals. It's certainly biased, but it seems I come across people who think the Tigers are a ridiculously overpaid powerhouse to whom an 88-74 record is an embarrassment all too often. To be honest, I enjoy the Tigers' media coverage, although I wish they would devote a little more time to players not named Verlander, Fielder and Cabrera. I guess they deserve it, though.

And yeah, those three are the current faces of the franchise, and Verlander is the best P in the league, so... yeah. They can get quite a bit of attention.

I'd really just like to see more attention given to Andy Dirks (although his playoff performance hasn't been quite as good) and some of the other starting pitchers (Mainly Scherzer), but I suppose I'll take what we can get.

Is the NCAAF13 recruiting broken or something? I had 3 recruits on my board going into the off-season; a HB with me at 1st, an ATH with me at 2nd, and a QB with me at 4th. They were the same on Week 1 but in Week 2 (off-season) they all dropped to "10th"...none of them had more than 4 other teams, either, and I couldn't improve my standing at all...

At that, the HB and ATH had both had A+ in-home visits in Week 1.

(Also, transfers must sit out a year; not sure if that's new, but definitely a cool feature)

I agree and yet disagree on that. All of the new features and career mode is good, but no fantasy draft and very strange gameplay (random interceptions/turnovers and somehow I can't win on Pro...when I could in Madden 12) turn me off to it.

I'm gonna give it more time though, play a few more games and see if I do any better, but right now, like most games, it frustrates me to play.

So, in Baseball Superstars 2012, the iOS game- I made the NPB. Now I'm downloading Baseball Superstars 2010 just to see the difference.
